Located about 5 minutes from Emory Hospital/Decatur. Food within walking distance. The parking deck is a bit of a pain. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent. The little bar closes super early every day. I was always walking in and it had just closed. Cool vibe in this area. I would 100% stay there again.

Was in town for a weekend. Booked a room and had my cats with me. Hotel is next to a Courtyard I believe. Hampton is clearly marked and directions are clear on where to drive to check in. Front desk was helpful and let me know I can park my car and unload in the roundabout. Luggage carts are available. The parking deck is right next to the hotel. It's a little compact but plenty of parking spaces covered and uncovered with elevator. The room itself was nice with rugs, not carpeted. I gave the room a little wipe down since I had my cats. There were a couple dust bunnies, not a big deal. The fridge and microwave were clean and worked. There is an old school a/c unit which advises you to use the wall thermostat to control the temperature. My view was of the vacant building next door which I did not mind. The only thing I didn't like was the automatic light in the bathroom. Sometimes it would turn off when I was in the separate toilet. The bathroom faucet for the sink was unique and it took me a second to figure out how to use it. I did not use the gym but I did see it and it seemed nice. I did not see or use the pool. I did see the laundry facility. It's one washer and one dryer. I did not use it as I had no need. Did not see or use the business center. I thought breakfast was good. I'm a vegetarian and I felt like there were plenty of options for meat and non-meat eaters. The dining area was very nice, beautiful view of the street outside. It's a little hard to drive out of the hotel due to street parking so be careful when making a left turn. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Loved our stay. Cleanliness: 5 stars. Loved that there was LVP instead of carpet. Safety: 5 stars. Felt safe everywhere. WIFI: 5star. Food: 5 stars. Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. Quiet: 5 stars. Never heard anyone and there were a lot of guests in the hotel. Bedding: comfortable. Window lets in a little sunlight. Check in: very friendly staff.

We had the loveliest stay at this Hampton Inn where the staff went above and beyond to help us with lots of bags and a late check-in! Nakita greeted us after midnight and was so warm and professional and kind! Carlos was equally delightful and pro in the morning when we checked out! These staff members are truly going above and beyond for their guests. The room was spotless and wonderful as always and this place was worth every penny!

Four night stay. Never stayed at a Hampton Inn before. Almost perfect stay. Great location. Hotel was clean, like really clean. Pool was great and fitness center was perfect. Staff was amazing. I think the housekeeper's name was Shanice on the third floor, Thelma and Cassandra at the front desk just amazing service. Kind, helpful all the things. Shanice took such good care of our space. Nice to come back to a tidied room each day. Only complaints and they are not a big deal but pretty annoying. The bathroom fixtures are kind of shoddy. The toilet paper holder came apart. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. So there was a crack open when you needed privacy the most. The shower door, noisy and clunky. Like really noisy. Fridge was lower quality with no freezer. With all that said. The staff, room size and comfort and location supercedes any complaints I have. I would absolutely stay here again. And I would absolutely recommend.

At least one cleaner stole several items belonging to me today. I spoke with 2 managers there. They changed their stories a few times, finally sticking with, our staff said there was nothing in the room. There was zero concern or offer of remedy for the theft. This is not a safe place to stay.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Emory university in Decatur. The rooms are standard. On our first day, the beds were very squeaky, and every time you moved or rolled over, it made a loud noise. Also in every room we've stayed in the nightstand is tilted forward, so things slide off of it. The rooms have a desk, a chair and a refrigerator and coffee maker. There's definitely room for 3-4 adults. The desk staff can be friendly or abrupt.Just depending on who's at the desk. There was a young man who didn't really seem to want to work.But there were also two women who were very helpful and friendly. There's a complimentary breakfast which is pretty standard for Hampton Inn. I was not impressed with the cheese omelets or the sausage, but it changes daily and there can be different bacon or different meats, as well as individual muffins and toast boiled, eggs, fruit and yogurts. You can also make your own waffle which is very tasty. It's a short walk to several niche is shops and restaurants. There is a scratch kitchen restaurant named Platez next door and in the other direction, there's a old courthouse and behind it. There is a street of international restaurants and a small town square and several shops. Having stayed at this location 3 times now I am disappointed with the rooms. The beds are soft and you roll off or to the center and the end tables all look like they are falling off. Also, the breakfast was not well stocked and ran out of yogurts and fruit.

This is my 2nd time staying here and the staff have always been friendly. The hotel is overall clean. However, this is my 1st time using the laundry facilities. It was only after finishing the wash do I notice the nasty condition the washer was in. I showed a photo to staff, they took note, but never offered any help or refund. I have to wash my clothes again somewhere else today. Spending more money than I needed to. Also, the towel holder in my bathroom is falling out of the wall.

What's the point of having the TV in blue mode / safe energy mode? It can't be changed with the hotel remote. Why would you put a TV in the room if it's useless?

I stayed here for three days and appreciate the quick resolution regarding an employee who was less than courteous at check-in. Unfortunately, his attitude negatively impacted my stay, even after the service recovery. That said, the hotel itself is in excellent condition, and I would like to give a special shout-out to Ty, who works the overnight shift, for her outstanding service.
