At least one cleaner stole several items belonging to me today. I spoke with 2 managers there. They changed their stories a few times, finally sticking with, our staff said there was nothing in the room. There was zero concern or offer of remedy for the theft. This is not a safe place to stay.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Emory university in Decatur. The rooms are standard. On our first day, the beds were very squeaky, and every time you moved or rolled over, it made a loud noise. Also in every room we've stayed in the nightstand is tilted forward, so things slide off of it. The rooms have a desk, a chair and a refrigerator and coffee maker. There's definitely room for 3-4 adults. The desk staff can be friendly or abrupt.Just depending on who's at the desk. There was a young man who didn't really seem to want to work.But there were also two women who were very helpful and friendly. There's a complimentary breakfast which is pretty standard for Hampton Inn. I was not impressed with the cheese omelets or the sausage, but it changes daily and there can be different bacon or different meats, as well as individual muffins and toast boiled, eggs, fruit and yogurts. You can also make your own waffle which is very tasty. It's a short walk to several niche is shops and restaurants. There is a scratch kitchen restaurant named Platez next door and in the other direction, there's a old courthouse and behind it. There is a street of international restaurants and a small town square and several shops. Having stayed at this location 3 times now I am disappointed with the rooms. The beds are soft and you roll off or to the center and the end tables all look like they are falling off. Also, the breakfast was not well stocked and ran out of yogurts and fruit.

This is my 2nd time staying here and the staff have always been friendly. The hotel is overall clean. However, this is my 1st time using the laundry facilities. It was only after finishing the wash do I notice the nasty condition the washer was in. I showed a photo to staff, they took note, but never offered any help or refund. I have to wash my clothes again somewhere else today. Spending more money than I needed to. Also, the towel holder in my bathroom is falling out of the wall.

What's the point of having the TV in blue mode / safe energy mode? It can't be changed with the hotel remote. Why would you put a TV in the room if it's useless?

I stayed here for three days and appreciate the quick resolution regarding an employee who was less than courteous at check-in. Unfortunately, his attitude negatively impacted my stay, even after the service recovery. That said, the hotel itself is in excellent condition, and I would like to give a special shout-out to Ty, who works the overnight shift, for her outstanding service.

Do Not Recommend staying here -- They knowingly give people rooms next to a LOUD neighborhood 'speakeasy' next door. My husband stayed there for a conference, and due to this establishment's noise pounding away very loudly until 2am, he was barely able to function the next day. When he spoke with front desk staff person, she was aware of the new business next door, and said there had been complaints about it. They moved his room, and the second night was much better. He requested a full refund of his first night, and Hilton responded with points, but no refund or willingness to address this issue for other travelers. This is not acceptable, as we have no inclination to do further business with Hilton if their hotels show so little regard for their customers' rest(!). While your hotel did not cause the noise, it is the hotel's responsibility to protect its guests by not placing them in rooms that are known to be plagued by late night/early morning loud disturbing noise. To the owner's response below, we have already reached out multiple times and do not wish to spend further time on this matter. If at some point we do receive the requested refund, I will update this review accordingly.

Great location. Such a fun area to go out for dinner just a couple blocks away. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms— I was shocked by the size of my room! There is a convenient private parking garage in rear. The lobby was lovely and had a great breakfast included in the price of stay.

Really pleasantly surprised with this one. Bed and pillows were really comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. There was a lot of space in the King room to place items and unpack. The bathroom and closet area was also roomy. Parking was very easy with plenty of space. I used the app for check-in and check-out and it was fast and convenient. It also allowed me to access the parking garage. Great option, would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel that doesn't really look like a hotel. Plenty of parking in the parking garage. Access is easy with the phone app. and phone keys. Free breakfast that smelled great. Access to some nice restaurants in the area. If it's just a business trip, this is a great place.
