The Nobu Hotel Atlanta offers a stylish and luxurious escape in the heart of Atlanta, known for its modern Japanese design and upscale amenities. Recent reviews highlight exceptional customer service and a refined atmosphere, though some guests have noted inconsistencies with food quality and operational details such as pool availability and room features.
It was a lovely little weekend getaway with my little one. We were welcomed with a warm lemongrass-scented hand towel and a refreshing welcome drink, which made us feel relaxed right away. We arrived late, so there were no room upgrades available, but the deluxe room was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. The rooftop pool was nicely heated, although there were quite a bit of debris in the water during our visit. Room service was convenient and the service overall was great, though the food itself was just okay — maybe I had set my expectations a little too high. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here.
Currently on a four-night stay at Nobu Hotel and wanted to take a moment to leave a review. So far, the experience has been excellent. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. What has truly stood out, however, is the staff. Every team member we've encountered has been incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The front desk staff in particular have been amazing—welcoming, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure guests have a great experience. It's clear that customer service is a priority here, and it has made our stay even more enjoyable. Looking forward to the rest of our visit!
I stayed at the Nobu when I visited Atlanta. The room was very quiet, the elevators came quickly, and I honestly do not think I ever shared an elevator with anyone else. The room was clean and overall everything was great. I had a very comfortable stay. I wanted to use the pool, and they said it was a heated pool, but the water was still cold so I did not end up using it. That was the only slightly disappointing part. Parking is free and you can self park, which is a huge plus. Also, the department store and shopping mall are within walking distance, so the location was really convenient too.
The hotel is calm. The pool area is very nice and relaxing. House keeping here seems to be on top of their game and I like that if you don’t want to be bothered theres a button by the bed for “ do not disturb”. The shower is clean and so is the room. HOWEVER, hard pass on the restaurant downstairs. If this is what you call fine dining you need to throw the restaurant away. Mind you, all I wanted to attempt was dessert. It was the complete opposite of what I expected .First off, how you gone serve green tea gelato with chocolate cake? ? dissatisfied for almost $30 & the cake isn’t even sweet im disappointed..This isn’t the kinda luxury dining I like …Other than the food here the hotel for staying is cool. Just DoorDash or go out to eat elsewhere.
Nobu has phenomenal customer service from the moment you arrive all the way until checkout! The ambiance is top notch modern Japanese with essential oils in the air. The rooms were very clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had very high quality amenities!
Better than expected! We came for a quick girls’ night using Amex FHR and had such a great time. The staff were warm and welcoming from the start. The room was spacious and clean, with simple, minimalist details that made it feel very relaxing. The pool was a highlight—it felt like a little oasis tucked between the surrounding high-rises. Breakfast was also excellent; the salmon egg Benedict with a subtle Japanese twist was especially good. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and I’d happily come back.
I recently stayed at the Nobu Hotel in Atlanta and had an exceptional experience overall. The customer service truly stood out from the very beginning—even before I arrived. I called ahead to get clarity on the additional benefits available through my AMEX Platinum card, and the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Upon arrival, that level of service only intensified. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, energetic, attentive, and genuinely warm. The complimentary Porsche car service was a major highlight—it was seamless, convenient, and added such a thoughtful, luxury touch by driving us to our destinations and picking us up. This hotel is the epitome of luxury and top-tier customer service. That said, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The breakfast service did not match the rest of the hotel’s exceptional standards—customer service was underwhelming, the menu options were limited, and the food itself was just okay. Additionally, I would highly recommend adding full-length mirrors in the guest rooms, which would greatly enhance the overall room experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Nobu Hotel Atlanta for anyone seeking a refined, elevated hospitality experience.
Nobu Hotel Atlanta is one of those places where beauty lives in the details. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels intentional and calm. The lobby and hallways are beautifully decorated, especially during the season — every corner thoughtfully styled, never overdone. There’s a quiet elegance to the space that immediately sets the tone. The room itself is absolutely beautiful. Clean lines, warm textures, soft lighting — everything feels refined, comfortable, and well cared for. It’s the kind of room you actually want to slow down in. The rooftop private pool is a standout feature. They occasionally host rooftop pool parties, which adds a fun contrast to the otherwise serene vibe. Unfortunately, during my stay there was ice on the deck, so we couldn’t use the pool, but we were still able to step outside, take a few photos, and appreciate how special the space is. On warmer days, I can easily imagine it being a perfect escape. The location is also very convenient — just a short walk to the mall, restaurants, and shopping, close to everything without feeling crowded. I didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant, which is what Nobu is famously known for, but that just gives me a reason to come back next time. Overall, it was an excellent stay with beautiful design, thoughtful details, and a calm sense of luxury throughout. Highly recommended.
We have the Amex Platinum. And this is by far one of the best stays we have had. Breakfast credit up to 76 per day and the breakfast selections were great. We used the 100 dollar credit for the brunch. Mrs Moore at the check in was very welcoming and booked our brunch for when it opened up Sunday, and was able to include guests. The room view of the Phipps plaza was great and got a good view of the game playing. The restroom includes a straightener and a great quality hair dryer. Would definitely come back!
I’ve stayed at Nobu in another location before, so I came in with high expectations — especially considering the price point. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t fully match the level of service I’m used to from a luxury hotel. Room & Amenities: The rooms are fair and visually nice, but I was genuinely surprised there was no in-room iPad/tablet. At other Nobu properties, the iPad controls the lights, housekeeping requests, food service, etc., and makes the stay feel seamless. Without it, getting in touch with the front desk was noticeably harder. Valet was another issue. I kept having to walk downstairs and approach them myself because I wasn’t receiving the usual text notifications when the car was ready. For a luxury hotel, that should be a smooth, effortless process — and it wasn’t. The Chromecast didn’t work when I checked in. I tried the support number displayed on the TV — stayed on hold — and the issue still couldn’t be resolved remotely. Ultimately, I had to go back down to the lobby and request an engineer. It took about 1–2 hours total to get the TV working again. Room cleaning wasn’t as thorough as expected. There were items left on the floor that weren’t picked up, and the coffee/tea station wasn’t restocked, which shouldn’t happen at this level of hotel. ? The hotel is beautiful, and the vibe is great — but for the price and the Nobu brand, the service should feel more polished and effortless. Small things add up, and during a multi-night stay, they really do make a difference. If I’m paying this much for 3–4 nights, I honestly might as well stay at a higher-end Hilton or another luxury property that consistently delivers the level of service I’m used to. Nobu Atlanta has a lot of potential, but the execution needs work.
