Guests praise the serene lakeside location within Stone Mountain Park and consistently highlight the friendly, often personalized service at the front desk and dining venues. However, the experience is heavily impacted by significant and inconsistent cleanliness issues with rooms and common areas, alongside several amenities (elevator functioning, hot tubs) that appear unreliable.

I really enjoyed my spa like stay. It was a staycation. My lake view room was very comfortable, clean and modern. Service was great. They are friendly and professional and make sure you have everything you need for a great stay. Stone Mountain is absolutely beautiful and it’s right at my back door. I will definitely stay again.

I have stayed at this resort numerous times for Conferences and Personal. I cannot say enough about the STAFF. The friendliest, most helpful people. One of the young men remembered me from last May when I was there for a conference (he helped me hang command strips) - and he was just as friendly and helpful this year as last. Recommend 10 out of 10

My room had mold on the inside of the sliding glass. The room was very basic and bland. It could use a little bit more decoration in the rooms to make it feel more homely. The price paid per night was not worth it. My balcony looked like it had not been cleaned in months, maybe years. It was not giving resort to me. It gave a low budget motel. I was very disappointed. I did enjoy the hot tub and lakeside view but the place needs more work inside and outside. Trash was on the walking trail. I stayed at a Laquinta in which I paid $66 a night and that gave more of a resort style hotel than this one. Very disappointed. Would not return unless it was renovated and actually gave resort. Staff was very friendly however.

I really enjoyed this place and its location within the park. I just want to offer some constructive feedback to help make it an even better experience. Overall, the property could benefit from remodeling and more consistent upkeep. The limited food options were disappointing—there were very few items on the menu, and the Tavern wasn’t even open for lunch. The surrounding areas could also be cleaner.

Short Version, multiple people around us were smoking pot non-stop and I could smell it in our room and in the hallways all weekend. Pros: hotel is located in Stone Mountain state park and that’s about it. Our room was clean, however based on other reviews this seems hit or miss) Neutral: food is very average for a resort, however service extremely slow. Front desk and other staff were average friendliness. (Ie. Didn’t act like I was a bother, but not exactly resort friendly) Cons: As we were checking out, another patron was showing the front desk staff a video of his room with roaches in it. The constant smell of pot. hotel is dated, except for lobby which was renovated. The wooden boardwalk that goes to the pavilion needs some TLC (That said furniture is relatively recent). Resort fee was 45 per night and not the 40 shown online. Have to pay an additional fee the first night for the privilege to enter the park, even though you have already paid for the hotel.

We’re local, newly married seniors and chose Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort for a Valentine’s weekend getaway. It was exactly what we hoped for. Our King Room was clean and comfortable and perfect for relaxing. It would have been even better with a small sofa or an additional chair/table with a reading lamp. We loved the walking trail — the entrance near the pool deck was clearly marked and easy to find. However, we didn’t see signage indicating how to access the lakeside portion of the trail or information about the accessibility level, which would be helpful for guests planning their walk. The pre-arrival marketing texts were most welcome. Drea at the front desk patiently handled multiple calls prior to check-in and greeted me warmly upon arrival. Kishme quickly provided a complimentary toothbrush, arranged for bar soap from housekeeping, and approved a late checkout. Dining was a highlight. Ebony and the runners took great care of us at The Tavern on a busy evening. At The Waterside, Jasmina was attentive and detail-oriented at breakfast, and Suada made our Valentine’s dinner feel especially welcoming and well cared for. From start to finish, we felt valued and well served. Great local opportunity that feels special.

She was very detailed oriented with everything she did. She tuck great pride in her job. Very professional in every way. Patient with me as I ordered and even want out her way to make shore I had amazing memories in restaurant. Attention to detail if I had a very fancy restaurant I would hire her in heart beat. She is very well organized and quick. Most all her clothes were ironed and she takes good pride in how she shows up at work. Keep up the amazing work.

Suada has provided exceptional service during breakfast, lunch and dinner. My children exclusively want to be served by her! Her genuine smile, kindness, and always welcoming attitude make every stay we've had over the past two years exceptional! People like Sauda are rare these days and should be cherished! My daughter absolutely loves her, and she was so sweet. On our last day during new year that my daughter commonly says that she has never seen service like that anywhere else before! My family had amazing serrvese by Jasmina at breakfast. We had an exceptional time.. She made our state very special, thank you Jasmina! We have great time staying at Evergreen resort hotel, and have a membership now to coming back as frequent as we can!

Hello. Atlanta Evergreen Resort Our visit was not the most pleasant this January. Upon arrival our first room had a toilet that just kept running thereafter we had to move to another room. Our second room had a light that was out in the bathroom and a shower that dispensed water over the floor. Our neighbors were so very loud in the the evenning and early in the morning therefore we could not relax nor get a good night sleep. The children and the adults we entirely to loud and we were told we should have called security. We moved again and in this room the closet doors were broken not operational and the shower was the worst, very low ( LOW ) water pressure just terrible. The lake view was pleasing and very nice. The front desk was not willing to offer any form of compensation inwhich we should have at least been offered for all of the inconveniences. The restaurants included there tips in your bill so your stuck paying a higher cost for your food, this was a real surprise and rather a disappointment. Dont mind tipping but this should always be the customers choice. The staff overall was friendly , housekeeping politely stated they dont speak any English so when asking for towels I could not receive any. Evergreen Resort I hope reaches out and offers some form of compensation for all of the inconveniences during our stay. Mr. Mrs. Onyango and Renee Bashir

Me and my boyfriend went for my birthday. The staff were amazing! Everyone was so polite and friendly. Every single person we came across that worked there treated us like family . We even met a woman named Tracy at the front desk. She works night shifts. She was so kind and we talked to her for a long time. When she found out it was my birthday, she gave me and my boyfriend a free breakfast card. It felt like we have known her forever. That’s the kind of people that work there. Our room and stay was very good and everyone always made sure we were kept up with anything we needed. The view was amazing . We chose to have a lakeside view . The room was perfect . Very fancy .And the places to eat are really good. When my boyfriend told the waitress it was my birthday They came with a little birthday candle / ice cream. Overall definitely recommend coming here with family, friends, couple, etc… thank you everyone for everything. And once again , a big shout out to Tracy at the front desk ?
