The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North receives mixed reviews, highlighting both positive aspects like friendly staff and a convenient location, alongside significant concerns regarding elevator issues, room quality, and inconsistent service. While some guests praise the overall ambiance and helpfulness of certain staff members, numerous reports of elevator malfunctions, outdated rooms, and difficulties with amenities and policies detract from the overall experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great—it’s a very peaceful spot but still super close to the city. Our room had a view of the pond, which was incredibly relaxing and peaceful to look at. ?Parking is right next to the building, making it very convenient. That said, I’m not a big fan of having to pay for parking when a property isn't in the middle of a massive city and there is plenty of open space available. ?The overall service was great and the property has nice amenities. The only real downsides were the in-room dining hours, which were limited and didn't quite work out for us, and the Wi-Fi, which was quite slow and lagged in performance. Overall, a great spot with just a couple of areas that could use improvement!

Great afternoon in the hotel! We went to the restaurant, everyone was super friendly. Then at the end, “Zion” was the best at valet parking!! He helped us so much with questions to exit and pay the parking ticket, so friendly and professional! He deserves to be commended!

Great location, but there were some disappointments. ?I recently stayed at this Westin property for two nights. While the hotel was overall okay, there were several frustrations that impacted the quality of our stay. ?The most significant issue was the elevator situation. With two out of the four elevators out of service, wait times were unacceptable. We spent over 20 minutes waiting for an elevator on two separate occasions, which made coming and going from the hotel a major inconvenience. ?Additionally, I was disappointed with the room itself. We paid for a high floor room and are platinum elite members, yet we were assigned a room on the seventh floor, which did not feel reflective of the upgrade we purchased. Furthermore, the bathroom design was lacking; it was extremely cramped, and the lighting was very poor, making it difficult to use for basic grooming. The full length mirror in the room had a shelf across the middle, making it as useless as the weirdly lit bathroom mirror. ?While the stay was functional, these issues prevented it from being a high-quality Westin experience. I hope the hotel addresses the elevator maintenance and reviews their room assignment and bathroom lighting standards soon.

The staff was amazing and very nice I want to get that out there first. And non of this has to do with them at all. But the rooms themselves were pretty beat up, wallpaper coming off the wall, unfinished holes around sprinklers and rust. Scratches on furniture and stains on the sides of the bed. But very quiet so that was nice. And the beds were soft and comfy. And the elevators took forever. Plan your trips to your room around it. They have 4 but we only saw 2 of them, and for how big the hotel is they need them all to work. And when they get to the lobby some of them shake so bad. Im surprised my dogs would keep going in them. Also know that you are charged every time you come and go to to the parking garage, not a daily/nightly fee? At least thats what it looks like now. They also have a limit of 1 dog per room but they let us bring our second one, I guess because it was never disclosed to us. They initially charged us 2 pet fees but at checkout they fixed it to just 1. (Again the staff were great just the facilities amd policies were frustrating). They dont have designated area for dogs but a lot of "no dogs" areas so you have to get creative. They clearly are trying to be a 4 star hotel and could easily be if they fixed a few things.

Stayed at The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North and unfortunately had a very concerning experience. The elevator malfunctioned, descended unexpectedly, and stopped between the 5th and 6th floors. We were trapped inside for approximately 33 minutes until Atlanta Fire Rescue arrived and manually opened the doors. We then had to climb/jump down out of the elevator because it was stuck between floors. To the hotel’s credit, the room night was comped and an apology letter was provided. However, there was very little follow-up afterward given the seriousness of the incident. Even more frustrating, the apology letter was not even addressed to us, which made the response feel generic and impersonal. After the incident, I started reading other guest reviews and noticed multiple people mentioning elevator problems at this property as well. Even during our stay before the incident, elevator wait times already seemed unusually long. What was also concerning was noticing elevator inspection certificates displayed with 2024 expiration dates. I’m thankful the situation did not end worse, but this was not a minor inconvenience and definitely impacted our stay and sense of safety.

Idk where to start to be honest. 1) They checked in different people to our room. It took me 1 hour to finally get into a room. 2) charged me for valet while I kept showing them it was included in my expedia reservation. 3) we found an ant ? on our bed in the 2nd night. 4) elevators were very sketchy and noisy 5) receptionists were kind but they need way more experience in taking care of issues. 6) I don't see the reason why it showes all kind of room types like superior or executive when the receptionist literally said all our rooms are the same????? Why did i pay extra to get a superior room if they are all the same???? What I would do if were to get a room here, make sure you get the cheapest room, its just an upcharge for the others and pay in total before you get there and make sure don't buy anything but the room, if you like to get valer or breakfast or whatever just buy that there. What really got me after all of these issues they didn't even care to offer anything in compensation to make the issues right, not even a bottle of water.

After the Element cancelled our reservation last minute, we booked the Westin Perimeter for our 5-day spring break trip — and honestly, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. From the moment we arrived, Giselle at the front desk put us completely at ease and made us feel confident we’d made the right choice. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but what truly set this stay apart was the staff. Every morning, my 6 and 9-year-old daughters stopped for their Starbucks drinks, and baristas Laura and Chelsea were so warm and attentive — they actually held conversations with my girls and made them feel so special. Valet Zion was a gem — personable, kind, and just a genuinely lovely young man. And the housekeeping team? They noticed my daughters’ stuffed animals and arranged them in a sweet little display on the beds each day. That small, thoughtful touch meant the world to us. This hotel delivered a top-tier experience from check-in to check-out. I will absolutely recommend the Westin Perimeter to anyone visiting Atlanta. We’ll be back! ?

We stayed here for one night as a family of four, including two children under 12 (ages 6 and 9). We specifically booked a room with two queen beds, and our reservation clearly listed four guests. Despite this, the hotel still charged us an additional person fee. When I called the hotel for clarification, the employee initially claimed they charged my spouse as an extra person — which made absolutely no sense. After that, I contacted my Chase Travel agent, who made multiple attempts to reach a manager, but no one was available. Eventually, the hotel responded via email, stating the extra charge was for our two children because they were not listed on the booking. This explanation is simply not accurate. Our reservation clearly showed four guests, and according to the hotel’s own policy, children under 12 are not considered extra guests. We have stayed at countless hotels with our children and have never encountered anything like this. The inconsistent explanations, lack of management availability, and unjustified extra charge made this an extremely frustrating experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you want transparent pricing and competent customer service. There are plenty of other hotels that treat families fairly.

My plane was cancel and delayed I had booked two nights so I had missed the first night and so I didn’t get in until 4 o’clock in the morning the next day so already having a long day and Miss Dawn she was just at the delight she was attentive to understanding that I had missed my flight and I was having a long night so I want to give all pride to Ms Dawn she was A one top customer service of the year she deserves it. I am a person who doesn’t take elevators for nothing. In this location they do not have stairs to up to your room only elevators. And Ms Dawn was so dope enough and came to the rescue and she took an elevator up to the third floor, which the floor that I was on came down and open the stairwell for me so I can take the stairs up to my room and I just wanna thank her and I wanna thank the western, the rooms are beautiful the beds were hella comfortable it was very clean. Everyone was nice even the security. The atmosphere was nice. The only thing that I was a con for me was getting to like a convenience store. There wasn’t too many of that or places to eat. And having to pay for the buffet that was $24

where to start… my first experience was awesome… even room service breakfast was served with real coffee mugs, silverware, tall glass bottle of water and real plates covered with heat saving tops. my check-in was smooth and no extra charges was put on my bill ….(the first time) this all made me come back the second time, from out of town. well to say the least i showed up early to be told my room was already picked out for me on the 18th floor and to just come back in 1 hr or so and im all set for my SUIT, i came back as told only to be told my SUIT was taken although i arrived early to be secure with a higher floor SUIT i paid cash for room service only to find out they still charged my card i then said you know what my breakfast will be my highlight i will sip my coffee and take my time with my 95 dollar in room service breakfast plus tip and i’ll be ok they brought up my 95 dollar meal in a to go bag and put my eggs and bacon and potatoes in a bowl as if i ordered a “breakfast bowl”, my sausage was cold my toast was hard and cold and my coffee cups well they used to be glass this time around paper cups and my creamer well not the silver small cup of milk, but my milk was the kind u get from gas station im highly insulted to include being in a SUIT, i felt i was at the travelodge or ramada inn, i felt i should of just got a regular room for all these insults to happen to me… and to throw more salt in my eyes, they have nothing in place to CATCH if they over charge customers, if you don’t do your own math you will be taken advantage of, but this is ATL area, i shouldnt of thought so high of anything in ATL the staff was very nice, the elevators scary the SUITS are no longer worth it nor the paper breakfast bowls and paper cups for coffee and gas station creamers, i felt i was treated like i was a nobody and i was going to let all of this go but when they played with my food, i never felt so disrespected shame on this establishment and the things that went on with someone in one of their SUITS oh yes i forgot im in a suit and still gotta walk down a hallway like all other rooms to heat up my breakfast (lunch bag) 95 dollar breakfast i will be posting pictures as soon as i find where i can ….
