I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. I booked this originally through Priceline and billed it with a card with a name different than the name on the reservation (it was for my sister and I used my card on Priceline). When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk was very hostile about the fact that the names did not match, asked for my phone and to turn the camera on, took a picture of signage behind the desk, and then made me read it aloud. That signage stated the name on the card and reservation had to match. This was not listed on Priceline and Priceline allowed me to make the booking. However, Priceline does not let you change the name on the reservation after it has been booked. As a result, I had to rebook the room on the spot and charge my account twice, and it took over a week to get refunded through Priceline for my original reservation (due to them needing manager confirmation/approval from the hotel). It seems this hotel does not like third party reservations and has their own booking policies (never had an issue using different cards and name reservations at other hotels like the Hilton). If that is the case, La Quinta should not allow reservations to occur on Priceline or state clearly this policy online that is hidden behind their front desk counter at check-in. I was taken aback that my phone was taken out of my hand to take a picture of a sign I could not even read on my own or had no prior knowledge to when booking online. This was a very frustrating experience. On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and looked nice for the area. Breakfast was nice as well.

I had a great stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Midtown – Buckhead. The hotel was comfortable and well-located, but what really stood out was the service. Sam at the front desk was amazing—warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. His friendly personality made check-in smooth and pleasant. Excellent customer service and a great first impression. Highly recommended!

Great location the hotel and property grounds are maintained daily. They provide a filling complimentary breakfast just enough to get your day started. I've stayed here several times and the rooms are clean. I did experience an issue with the TV and the AC not working properly in the room but it was manageable.

When I search for hotels I filter by "free breakfast" and "fitness center". I feel swindled- I would not have considered staying here if I had known the circumstances. Fitness room was closed -seemingly due to mold- and breakfast was a few wrapped muffins and coffee. The hotel does have a bad odor, too, and Im usually pretty tolerate of such. 2 stars and not 1 because my sheets were clean! Thank you for that, Maria. :)

First impressions are everything & the staff was amazing & very attentive. The lobby & room were spotless. The parking lot was clean & safe. The room I had gotten was surprisingly very affordable & huge for the price. I was surprised & happy to see Dove products in the bathroom & extra towels. Breakfast was good, only advice I would give is to have more morning breakfast staff. It seemed to be more people at breakfast than one person could keep up with, but they did a great job trying to accommodate everyone! Honestly, 10/10! If I had to choose a place to stay again, it would be here!

Checked in Sunday night with a beautiful young girl with a Arabic name started with a H but I don't want to misspell her name. We talked about how this would be my daughter's 1st concert EVER and in Atlanta. We got to the room and the TV was broken.. looked liked someone dropped it bc the picture was wiggly with lines going through it. I called her and she informed me that the hotel was booked up but she would have the GM contact me. So, my daughter and I were without a TV the whole trip and she needs it to fall asleep (which was hard for her to do). Checked out Tuesday and returned home to find out that my incidental was kept due to makeup and hair dye being on a pillowcase. I have grays that I cover and yes after the concert I fell asleep with my makeup. Never in my life has a hotel done this to me and I've been dying my hair for at least 10 years and wearing makeup that I sometimes forget to wash off. So I called and the young lady that answered the phone name Revah I believe was so rude to me, I couldn't believe it. I told her about what happened and asked to speak to the GM and she said he's not here. I said I've been waiting on a call about not having a TV for 2 days and my incidental being kept. She said I can't help u and we can't get the dye and makeup out (mind u the pillows were already stained with yellow spots that I assumed was bleach). I asked her why was she taking that tone with me when I just wanted help and she laughed, after going back and forth with her I told her to have the day she deserves bc this treatment will definitely come back around. I've been in retail management for over 20 years and it's very sad to be handled like this so not only was I not compensated for not having a TV that I paid for as a listed amenity, I was also charged for basically being a woman. What a waste. Please stay somewhere else. The breakfast was awful as well and housekeeping refused to bring towels and I had to call the front desk twice and when the finally came she wouldn't even look at me she just pressed the towels into my hand and I said thank you so much, she just walked away without saying a word. Never again! Oh and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty... We had to door dash some body wash ?

There was no hot water to shower with in the morning, so I had to take a cold shower. Parking is limited. Beds are comfy. Room needed some care. Outside of the hotel I would give 2/5 needs to be cleaned up. It was okay.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room smelled strongly of smoke, and when I requested to be moved to another room, the staff informed me they were short on inventory and couldn’t accommodate the request. The sink drainage was also broken, and we had to improvise using cutlery just to keep it open. Additionally, despite charging a $100 pet fee as a damage reserve, the hotel didn’t even provide basic amenities like dog waste bags, which is something I would expect from any pet-friendly property. Overall, the experience was far below expectations and not worth the cost.

Clean decent service. Comfy bed. Good-natured pressure. Housekeeping did a good job daily. Breakfast buffet was decent. Hotel has small convenience corner snack with beverages and snacks. Nice ce tion. Location is fantastic for Buckhead area. Plenty of things to in the area. Went for opening NFL game to see Bucs beat the Dirty Bird! Will definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a budget friendly option with hot breakfast that had gluten free options. Their breakfast was pretty standard. I enjoyed the eggs and sausage. My husband had the same, plus made waffles. Rooms are a little older, but clean. Hallways did smell of Marijuana on our floor, but cleaning crew did try to get the smell out every morning. The lobby/ breakfast area did not have this same smell. Our room did not have a smell. Front desk staff were friendly. They only have feather pillows. I'm allergic and put a note in. They did call me to let me know daybof our arrival. Which I appreciated however they did not have another option. Not a problem for me, since I bring my own neck roll. Doors are locked at 8pm and a keyboard is needed to enter and/or you need to wait for the front desk to buzz you in if you are checking in late. Free parking.
