I've stayed here multiple times on business. My room has always been clean and comfortable. Showers are great, which is often a little hit or miss with even nice hotels. I've always gotten a great view and in fact my last stay was a corner room with a great view of the Atlanta skyline. The rooms do seem a little noisy, but I've had a lot less to complain about there and have mostly just heard complaints from coworkers. Literally my only real complaint is the room service is pretty meh. I've ordered it several times across my stays and it's been miss more than hit. First time I got a burger there was incredible, the rest have been bland and undercooked(not dangerously so, I just like my burgers medium well to well and these were more on the medium to medium rare side). Breakfast was just okay. Even then, I'd say I've seen so much worse so unless you're specifically here for room service, it's not really an issue.
Today, l want to shout out Olabisi, she's a super star at the lounge area. I came to visit and she gave me the best service. I love how she gives us all our attention and asks if we are alright and doing okay. I stayed dor a bit just to see her excellent work, at night she always cleans up after people. She's very sweet and nice to us and I recommend to go meet her and I'm definitely coming back only to see her amazing job. She needs a raise?
We stayed at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta on March 28–29 as an overnight stop during our drive from Florida to Blue Ridge. We arrived very late, around 2–3 AM, after a long six?hour drive. At check?in, I didn’t have a printed copy of the Explore Bonvoy form. I asked if I could email it, as I’ve done at other Marriott properties, but the front desk clerk told me it needed to be printed and directed me to the business center. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but at 3 AM the business center was on a different floor and completely dark. When I opened the doors, I was startled to find a man lying on the floor inside the business center. I screamed, and he stood up looking confused. I immediately ran back to the front desk and told the clerk what happened. She was shocked, called security right away, and they escorted the man out of the building. After the incident, the clerk allowed me to email the form instead. The room itself was very comfortable, and we slept well. However, I strongly recommend reviewing nighttime procedures for guest check?ins. If guests are being sent to isolated areas of the hotel at that hour, there should be security presence or staff nearby to ensure safety. My husband and kids were still in the car while I checked in alone, and it later hit me how vulnerable that situation could have been. I was also surprised that no manager followed up the next morning to acknowledge or apologize for what happened.
As per a previous stay at a different location, we held the same high expectations of a super clean room and a super comfy bed. Needless to say that we were disappointed when we arrived to this location. The room smelled like wet dog as soon as you opened the door. The floors were not vacuumed to thr degree that we had to clean up food pieces off the floor before our toddler got to them. The trash bags were not replaced and our bedding was not changed as we requested upon arriving, but a few brown sheets were delivered instead. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom tub was cracked and chipped and for the price point and namesake, did not fit what our expectations were. The 15th floor did have a beautiful city view and the staff we encountered were extremely kind and professional kind.
Westin buckhead is close to a large mall with plenty of shops and restaurants, food court choices. The hotel has a large conference center and good sound system. My group was large (1200 seating). They provided outlets for participants to plug into. Outside WiFi boosted needed internet. Plenty of space for vendors outside of conference room. Bathrooms were available on three levels for the bathroom break rush. We were accommodated with breakfast items, plenty of coffee and beverages. Box lunches both serving and clean up worked well. Hotel rooms were updated, comfortable, and spacious. Good MARTA transportation to the area. I understand parking was good
Stayed at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta for a weekend trip. The room itself was clean with a nice view, but the service left a lot to be desired. We were told the night before that a 3 PM late checkout was approved, but the next morning the front desk changed it to 1 PM without explanation or apology, which cut our stay short. One staff member, Desmond, was very kind and helpful, but overall the experience didn’t match the price point. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and frustrated
I stayed at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta for a weekend trip. The room itself was fine and clean, but our main issue was with the service. We requested a late checkout the night before, and the front desk told us they could do 3 PM with no issues. However, when we went downstairs the next morning, a rude woman at the front desk shook her head and, in a condescending tone, told us that would not be possible. We tried to explain that another employee had already confirmed this and updated our key cards for that time, but she refused to listen. She took our key cards and changed our checkout time to 1 PM — THREE HOURS cut from our stay — without even an apology. For such an expensive price, there are MUCH better hotels in Atlanta. That being said, Desmond was great and very accommodating. Aside from him, we were not impressed by the hotel. I would suggest looking into the The American Hotel by Hilton Tapestry Collection instead.
I didn't stay here. But I attended the Black Women in insurance conference for 2026 and the conference spaces are Amazing and breakfast and lunches were delicious! If you are looking for a place to do corporate events, I would recommend.
I do not recommend it anyone staying at this property, please check your final invoice receipt. The charge you more than what you where initially caught it. There is a hidden charge as a room surchargr charge fee, over $100. Check your credit card receipt because they don't disclose it.
Pretty standard Westin that was fine. Nothing incredible though. No free water bottles in room and my room was missing its ironing board. When I requested from front desk, they sent a new iron (no board) after 20min wait. Cleaning staff was friendly and nice though.
