The Westin Buckhead Atlanta receives mixed guest feedback, with some praising its prime location, stylish design, and exceptionally friendly staff. However, recurring concerns include inconsistent service, issues with room amenities (like TVs and ironing boards), and problems with billing accuracy and follow-up on complaints. Recent reviews highlight a significant drop in service quality compared to previous stays.
Stayed at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta for a weekend trip. The room itself was clean with a nice view, but the service left a lot to be desired. We were told the night before that a 3 PM late checkout was approved, but the next morning the front desk changed it to 1 PM without explanation or apology, which cut our stay short. One staff member, Desmond, was very kind and helpful, but overall the experience didn’t match the price point. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and frustrated
I stayed at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta for a weekend trip. The room itself was fine and clean, but our main issue was with the service. We requested a late checkout the night before, and the front desk told us they could do 3 PM with no issues. However, when we went downstairs the next morning, a rude woman at the front desk shook her head and, in a condescending tone, told us that would not be possible. We tried to explain that another employee had already confirmed this and updated our key cards for that time, but she refused to listen. She took our key cards and changed our checkout time to 1 PM — THREE HOURS cut from our stay — without even an apology. For such an expensive price, there are MUCH better hotels in Atlanta. That being said, Desmond was great and very accommodating. Aside from him, we were not impressed by the hotel. I would suggest looking into the The American Hotel by Hilton Tapestry Collection instead.
I didn't stay here. But I attended the Black Women in insurance conference for 2026 and the conference spaces are Amazing and breakfast and lunches were delicious! If you are looking for a place to do corporate events, I would recommend.
I do not recommend it anyone staying at this property, please check your final invoice receipt. The charge you more than what you where initially caught it. There is a hidden charge as a room surchargr charge fee, over $100. Check your credit card receipt because they don't disclose it.
Pretty standard Westin that was fine. Nothing incredible though. No free water bottles in room and my room was missing its ironing board. When I requested from front desk, they sent a new iron (no board) after 20min wait. Cleaning staff was friendly and nice though.
This stay was literally a 100/10 experience. Every single staff member at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta—from check-in, to valet, to management—was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I’ve stayed here once before and honestly forgot how much I love this hotel. This trip completely reminded me why it’s one of my favorites. Special shoutout to the entire valet team on the night shift (1/29/26)—every single one of them was amazing. I had a flat tire, and they went above and beyond: they put air in my tire so I could safely drive, helped me find the closest tire shop, and made a stressful situation feel completely manageable. They truly deserve raises. The front desk associate working checkout the morning of 1/30/26 was also THE BEST—friendly, professional, and a perfect final touch to an already incredible stay. I will absolutely be back. This hotel sets the standard for hospitality.
We had an amazing stay here on the 23rd of December. We were celebrating my husbands 30th birthday and being across from the mall and in the heart of buckhead was even better. We upgraded for the breakfast and only paid $50 for both of us together. The view of the city was amazing the end was sooo comfy and overall check and check out was smooth and the staff was so Kind. We can’t wait to come back again for another stay!
Great location close to Lennox Square. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very clean and comfy rooms with plush beds and super soft sheets. The city view from the 6th floor was very pretty at night. The water station in the lobby is a convenient and environmentally friendly alternative to supplying water bottles in the room. Choose from still, sparking, or alkaline. Beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant. Would be a perfect location for conferences and events. Quick and easy checkin. Parking deck is a little sketchy/dark/dirty but safe and uncrowded. Parking is $55 each night which is expensive but on par for the Buckhead area.
My husband and I had a fantastic time at The Westin Buckhead last week! We had a wonderful stay, even though we did encounter a little hiccup. We really value excellent customer service and how things are managed. The front desk manager, Taneidrea, went the extra mile to make sure we had a truly amazing experience after taking care of the issue. Another manager, Aronta, even reached out to me during my stay to check in, which I really appreciated. And I just wanted to mention Keon, who works at the front desk. He was so friendly and personable, and I really enjoyed chatting with him. It’s always such a nice experience to meet someone who’s so outgoing and hospitable in customer service.
Great location.. Shower we were in corner room. Shower doesn't keep water in it. Runs all over the floor. Nice size rooms though. Bar was cool too. Lil small stuff like someone food being left on the floor ( room service food) over 12 hours was kinda weird . Doesn't someone check for that stuff. Staff was nice.
