Hotel canceled reservation without informing me. Reservation was booked 2 weeks in advance. Called and Betty at the front desk said yes we’re sold out and we didnt have a number to call but as a member of 10 years with the number on file and a previous employee this was truly a let down as I have a 5 hour drive for medical procedures.

I stayed here for one night, well half of the night this past weekend. The hotel is very dated. The front staff were very friendly but I had to give them a 1 star. This hotel has bed bugs. I was woken up at 3am with bites on my right arm and left ear. I did a bed bug check, but I guess I wasn’t thorough. Be careful.

The location of this TownePlace Suites was perfect, just off of I-85 with close proximity to downtown Atlanta. The staff was pleasant, hot breakfast was very nice, and the room was comfortable. I especially appreciated that the hotel has a private parking garage and didn't charge extra onsite parking fees. In fact, that was a major determining factor when I chose this hotel. Great experience and highly recommended!!

Very lovely staff, clean rooms. But very old with updates needed everywhere - especially the non-sound-proof windows and furniture. Price reflective of standard. WONDERFUL breakfast!

Do not stay in this hotel. I travel year round in my job as a television, sports announcer, so I am in hotels every week. This hotel is not worthy of the Marriott label. It feels like something in a housing project. Dingy rooms, dirty, carpeted, rooms, stains, and tons of allergens trapped in the dirty rooms. My mouth dropped when I walked into the room. And forget about a fitness facility. It is a closet with a treadmill and elliptical, but no weights. Literally the size of a closet. This was such a disappointment, and I’m having my 4-letter network remove this hotel from our selections

This hotel is so gross. I walked in through a plume of cigarette smoke and was not greeted. The host stand is tiny, there is no bar. There is a small area with unhealthy snacks for sale. The lobby smells like smoke. The whole place feels like a motel 6. It’s noisy inside - like the fans need to be tightened, furniture needs to be replaced, even the credit card offer on the table in the hotel room looks like it’s been through a lot. The room just smells dirty. No bottled water or amenities. There is a sign pointing to spa but you have to figure where and what it is on your own (it’s an outdoor hot tub). They share a pool and gym with the holiday inn express across the parking lot, if that says anything. They apparently offer free washer and dryers but if it’s the same quality as everything else, I Houston go near it. I’m very disappointed that Marriott would own a property like this. I would definitely not recommend it.

Disappointing Stay at TownePlace Suites Buckhead While the location of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Buckhead is convenient, our recent stay was disappointing due to a clear lack of upkeep and cleanliness that we don't expect from a Marriott property. The most-used areas of our room were superficially clean, but a closer look revealed a pattern of neglect. The carpets were noticeably stained, and the couch was in such poor condition—ripped and dirty—that it had been covered with a blanket. There was a massive crack in the window and the design of the space as a whole was illogical with the bedroom door opening right into the bed and the bathroom drawer unable to open at all due to the toilet paper holder being in the way. Other problems also detracted from our comfort. The television was surprisingly small, and the air conditioning unit was so loud that we had to almost yell to have a conversation. It's not a dealbreaker, and the hotel is certainly habitable, but these issues highlight that the property is not being maintained to the standard guests should expect from the Marriott brand. My parents are Marriott Timeshare owners so we have stayed at many Marriotts and this hotel is one of the worst I have seen within the brand. With some serious attention to these details, this hotel could be a much better option. As it stands, it’s a letdown.

We checked in to this hotel on 6/27/2025. Immediately upon entering we could tell that the property wasn't quite as nice as the online pictures made it look. However, it wasn't enough to turn us away since the property is pet friendly and we had small dog with us. We were supposed to check out on the morning of the 30th. However, on the morning of the 29th, we had no running water in our room. No water in the sink or water for a shower. We couldn't even take a shower. In fact, the water to the whole hotel was shut down - for HOURS. When the water finally did come back on at around 2:30 PM, it was gross. The water was not clear, but instead had a cloudy brown color. We let the watrer run for a long time and it finally started to clear up about 30 minutes later. However, we did not feel comfortable showing in the water and we decided to leave the hotel and find another place to stay our final night in Atlanta. When we left the hotel at 3:30 that day, the front desck person asked the manager what to do about charging us for the final night since we were leaving at 3:30. He told her to charge us - because we checked out too late.

As a Marriott Bonvoy member, this hotel was an extreme disappointment. When we arrive around 2:45pm for a supposed 2-night stay, we were told our room wasn't ready and that it was being cleaned. Which was fine, because we were a little early. The front desk staff was extremely nice and friendly, hence the 4 star for that. However, when we got to our room, I promise it didn't look like any cleaning occurred. We stayed in room 312, and I would recommend that NO ONE is rented that room until necessary repairs/updates are made. There were holes in the wall, carpet by the door coming up, the door had a gap that made the door close awkwardly having us use the top latch and deadbolt to lock properly, the beds were hard as a rock, the TV in the bedroom had no sound, the AC semi-worked, the couch was filthy, the floor in the kitchen area was not cleaned, and trash was not taken out in the bathroom. There was a distinct smell of mold/mildew within the hallway. It gave me the icks. We checked out the next day as I could not stay there one more night with my daughter. Besides the location being very close to the Marta station we needed to use for the concert and the pleasant front desk staff, I would not recommend anyone staying here until the rooms are updated and there is some real cleaning happening here. Sorry not sorry, but beware if you book this place.

A Very polite dark skinned lovely young lady was at the front desk. ? She Greeted us, And was Very professional. I haven't stayed at this hotel, BUT my family has, and they absolutely Love it. They Swear by the stay. ? They even Preferred to at here, instead of staying at the hotel, Holiday Inn, across the street. One thing, I did notice, and that could be frustrating - was that it has the Same address as the Holiday Inn; so don't get confused. There is parking, and there is Also a garage with 2 stories for parking. ? Enjoy!
