A rare wonderful stay at a Marriott with no issues. Highly recommend the concierge lounge, the food was great and the people were so nice. The food at Champions was also very good and service was quick and friendly. Great stay, I wish all Marriott hotel experiences were like this.

First of all, a BIG shout out to Christopher at the front desk working the 11 pm to 7 AM shift on Feb 6-7 2026 (I even got to have a brief conversation with him early the next morning when I checked out... even after working all nite, he was still in that same great mood!). Made a last minute reservation at the desk after arriving at the ATL airport. Christopher gave me the best rate (I checked other online apps like Expedia, etc.) and was nothing but super nice and professional... very refreshing in this day and age! The room was very nice and clean! The hotel is super convenient to the airport, you just have to take the SkyTrain (which is free) to the GICC stop and walk a short distance to the hotel. Honestly, this has nothing to do with the hotel, but the only thing I think that would be better is if the SkyTrain had inside walkways to each hotel so you're not out in the weather! If you're in the area and need an ideal place to stay with super nice rooms and extra nice customer service front desk agents, stay here... and especially ask for Christopher! Outrageously overpriced and the most uncomfortable mattress I've slept on in any hotel. They charged $700 for 1 night, for 2 queen beds. I'm convinced it was price gouging due to the winter storm moving in. My sister and I stayed so she could use the airport train to go straight from hotel to airport to catch a flight early the next morning. And for $700, that didn't even include a breakfast. Absolutely ridiculous and considering my brother-in-law stayed there not long ago for $200 a night, it reinforces that the outrageous price was price gouging. I travel a lot and this entire experience has turned me off to ever staying at a Marriott property in the future.

I had a great stay at Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway. The rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and very spacious - perfect for relaxing after a long travel day. Check-in and check-out were completely seamless, and the staff was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout the stay. One of the biggest highlights is the unbeatable location: it’s incredibly close to the airport and the rental car center, making travel logistics effortless. If you’re flying in or out of ATL and want a comfortable, convenient, and well-run hotel, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

Airport Parking | I parked my car here for 5 days. It was easy to self-park, walk to the skytrain to the airport, come back, validate parking and leave. I highly recommend this location/service if you’re traveling and need long-term parking. Straightforward, stress free experience.

We love the hotel, the room, restaurant and the location. We would definitely stay here again. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The restaurant Champion has great food and not to pricey. Thank Marriott staff for a wonderful stay

Stayed here due to slight delays. Quick and Easy to get to. Rooms are better than average. Oddly low showerhead in my room but manageable. Food was decent at the attached restaurant. Digital key issued before hotel arrival. Staff friendly and mostly helpful. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to M Club not being open on the weekends and their voucher was for the restaurant at the hotel across the street. A little communication up front would have made this a 5.

Good hotel, incredibly easy saves to the airport. Our flight was cancelled and we needed to stay overnight in Atlanta, so I booked this hotel for no fuss transportation to/from the airport as it is connected by the elevated train. Wish they had a hot tub, but no real complaints

I stayed here last night after a chaotic day of travel. I just want to give a shout-out to a wonderful staff member, Shanelle. When I went to check in yesterday evening, I was at my absolute breaking point after flight delays, gate changes, cancellations, and rebooked flights, coupled with my medical issues. My husband had booked the room for me while I was trying to figure out how to get to the hotel from the airport. My husband booked with points, but had apparently forgotten to add me to the reservation. Shanelle let me know that all my husband needed to do was call the elite line to add me. I called my husband, and in my exasperation I told him to just cancel the booking so I could just book a room so I could get to a room and lay down because I just needed sleep at that point. Shanelle calmly reiterated that there was no need to cancel, he could just call and add me. I apologized to my husband, he said he would call, and I went to sit in the lobby. I was completely at my wits end from the day, and started crying in the lobby. Shanelle came over, offered me some water, and asked if I needed a hug. I told her I was drenched in sweat (due to aforementioned medical issues) and she said, "that's fine." Shanelle then listened as I explained my day. I had been holding it in all day, because I know all of the chaos was not the fault of the airline employees, but I was in so much pain, beyond exhausted, and completely soaked in sweat from the chaos. Despite the fact that Shanelle's only interaction with me was me being a jerk to my husband, she decided to show me compassion and understanding. Once my husband had added me to the reservation, she quickly got everything ready for me to head to my room. The room was clean, comfortable, and I was finally able to relax. Not just because I could lay down, but because Shanelle took the time to listen and comfort me, I wasn't nearly as stressed as I was when I walked through the doors of the Marriott. So, thank you. She's a great person and an asset to your staff.

Everyone from the greeter to the restaurant to the bar was very friendly& helpful. We frequently stay here when we fly out of Atlanta. Makes it very convenient and enjoyable way to start our vacations. Would recommend this hotel in a minute.
