Outstanding Service from Deran I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Deran in the restaurant during my recent stay at the American Hotel in Atlanta. I was recovering from a broken leg during my visit, and Deran went far above and beyond what would normally be expected. He was attentive, compassionate, and very helpful. Not only did he provided outstanding service to my entire team. He positive attitude and willingness to assist made a significant difference in our experience. Came to Atlanta for a job interview. I stayed for 2 nights, breakfast included. The receptionist were extremely welcoming and friendly, helped me with everything I needed. When I walked into my hotel room, everything was nice. It’s not a big deal but there was paint on the walls of the bathroom, very noticeable that they covered up holes. Other than that, breakfast both mornings was amazing. I had Wendy as my waiter both times and she was very kind! Wished me luck on my interview and helped me out in every way I needed! Great service and great location. It may not be convenient for other people, but my job interview was right next door and there were many food options nearby. $358 for a two night stay and breakfast included is a steal. Considering breakfast can be about $20 per person.

Front Desk/Office Ricky was incredibly patient, efficient, friendly & welcoming upon a busy check in! We touched base with the hotel prior to checking in & ended up chatting with Ricky in the app & when we checked in! Thankful for his kindness & patience on a busy travel day/weekend. The valet guys & lady were friendly, professional, efficient. They were also accommodating & patient with us when we had to go back to the truck a couple of times. Much appreciated! Breakfast was your standard hotel buffet breakfast, except the service was exceptional! Wendy, Deran, & Shawl were so friendly, accommodating, & their level of service was so refreshing! Thank you, to everyone at The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown for creating a smooth, fun, & enjoyable family weekend!

I had a wonderful stay at the American Hotel in downtown Atlanta. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, attractions, and easy to get around the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really made my experience stand out was the exceptional service at the front desk. Maleena was absolutely fantastic, friendly, professional, and very helpful with all my questions and requests. She truly made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta, and I will be back!

What are fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the wonderful staff and enjoyed talking to them. I loved my room, had a balcony with a view of The Park and Ferris wheel. The room was clean and very comfortable, and well appointed. The cable TV could have had more options but not a deal-breaker. It was off season for swimming so I didn't get a chance to check out the pool area. All of the common areas were comfortable and had some really cool memorabilia. Everybody I interacted with at this hotel was fantastic. I would say their little market is definitely expensive. $5 for a bottle of Coke or a candy bar. You can walk around the corner 100-ft to the convenience store and get one for a little more than half the price and a much bigger selection of items. The location couldn't be better. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in town!

The hotel’s lobby is absolutely beautiful! Upon check-in, we had a few issues with our room and the staff did not hesitate to help us. In particular, RICKY and KHALIL were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Khalil was such a help with getting our baggage and helping us change rooms. Ricky worked the front desk, and man, he was such a good person, with such a beautiful spirit. I wish there were people like him at every hotel we visit. Overall, pricing was good, location was GREAT, and the staff were phenomenal, but the rooms were not what we were accustomed to in terms of space and cleanliness. The bedding lacked softness, and so did the bathroom linens. The cleaning seemed to make it look clean, but after looking thoroughly, it was not clean at all. The rooms need some serious upgrades.

Place was amazing! When we showed up via Uber, first thing we experienced was someone opening our doors and asking if we wanted help with our luggage. Lobby was very clean, and we saw Eric for check in. He was absolutely amazing and so personable! We talked and he told us how to get to our rooms. The elevators require your room key to work which is a fantastic security measure. The rooms are perfect for 2 people. Of course I checked the mattress and everything before we got settled, and everything was clean and fresh. The pillows aren't the best but that is such a miniscule thing. Someone got stuck in the elevator yesterday while we were heading out somewhere, then again when we came back. It took engineering a while of leading us around before he found the right stairs for us. But everyone here was always in a great mood and so friendly. We check out this morning, so i can't speak for that process, but overall this place has been amazing! 100% will stay here again when coming back to Atlanta!

I have to start with the professionalism of the valet parking attendants. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The service was truly top-notch—staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly and exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality experience.

Her warm, professional demeanor stood out, and she went above and beyond to assist me with a reservation issue I had previously made. While I have always appreciated the Hilton brand, this was by far my best experience with a front desk representative. Maleeha truly saved the day and played a significant role in making my stay wonderful. Thank you to her and to the entire hotel team for such an outstanding experience.

I've been staying at this hotel periodically over the last few months on business, and I continue to choose it because not only are the rooms comfortable, but also the service is excellent. Every staff member I interact with is helpful, friendly, and kind, whether I need to store luggage, check in early or check out late, pick up takeout, etc. Shout out to Renee who always makes me feel welcome! The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. I appreciate that the fitness center is also taken care of and stocked with towels and water! Whenever my coworkers need to travel in, I always recommend they stay here.
