I have stated this hotel many times for many different conventions. I have to say over the years they have definitely improved all the things that were wrong whenever Wyndham took over this property. As always the jewel of the crown is the pool. The service was good it seems like even the speed of service yet they're very busy Hotel restaurant improved. They also gave us our own alternatives for food during the event by catering food downstairs. I was glad to see the pool gazebo bar being used as well. Keep progressing, Courtland Grand!

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience overall. First, I want to recognize the breakfast staff—they were clearly short-staffed, but still did their absolute best to take care of everyone. Despite the pressure, they remained attentive and worked hard to keep things running smoothly. That level of effort does not go unnoticed, and they truly deserve a 5 for their service. However, there were some concerns that need attention. At the Starbucks inside the hotel, I witnessed a serious hygiene issue. One of the employees used her hand to clear her nose and then continued handling items without washing her hands. That is unacceptable in any food service setting and should be addressed immediately through proper hygiene training. The rooms were okay but could definitely use more detailed cleaning. It wasn’t the worst I’ve seen, but it also didn’t meet the level I would expect. Additionally, the carpets on Level 1 had a noticeable odor that seemed to trigger allergies, which made the environment uncomfortable. There was also a large group of kids attending what appeared to be a prom, and unfortunately, there was not enough adult supervision. The behavior was disruptive at times, and it felt like they were treating the space as if they were at home rather than in a shared hotel environment. Overall, the staff—especially in the breakfast area—did what they could under pressure, and I appreciate that. But cleanliness, hygiene standards, and supervision of large groups need improvement to elevate the overall guest experience.

Natasha was a wonderful server ay fandanles and the food came out quick and tasted great. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool. The hotel was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and not too far from the aquarium. It was an easy train ride from the airport which saved us quite a bit on a rental car.

Here for a work conference. The event facilities were fine and the event was great. My room was dirty, including hair all over the bathroom ceiling. The room heat also wasn’t working- no matter what I turned the temperature to, it continued blasting cold air. I turned it completely off and had a very cold room all night. Thankfully the bed was at least clean. A colleague of mine in a different room had similar cleanliness issues and the tub took all night to drain.

The valet parking is too much, $60 a day. The hotel rooms need an upgrade for this price, stains on the chairs, moisture marks on the ceiling and walls. The hotel says newly renovated, don't believe it, they still have rooms that are in need of renovations. I chose the pool view, the pool is enclosed, and your room is on the same level as the pool. So, you'll hear the noisy kids in the pool, up & until 10pm. There is a glass door in your room that opens up into the pool area. Check the latch to make sure it is properly locked, mine was unlatched. Don't get the pool view! The carpet floors looked really dirty. The best thing here is the staff, who are there to help you, they are very polite and professional. There are restaurants on the property. But, I highly recommend not staying here. There are hidden fee for everything, check before you book. I will not be staying here again.

This hotel wasn’t the worst but could have provided a better experience. Overall the lobby, pool, and common areas were clean. There were a couple of issues with one elevator going down on the first day but that seemed to get fixed for the rest of the weekend. The pool area was beautiful and was a major reason we chose to stay here. The only complaint here is the towels were so small at the pool, smaller than our bath towels in the room. On our first night the room was a problem. The AC was not working correctly, only one outlet worked, the sheets smelled terrible, and the hot water and water pressure in the shower were both awful. After informing the staff they did move us to a new room and gave us a free breakfast which was appreciated. They were very nice when we brought up the concerns. The new room was in much better shape but did smell a bit like a smoking room. The location was good for what we needed, but we did have to either pay $60 a night for valet or pay to park in the garage across the street. Overall, not the worst stay ever but I probably would not stay here again or recommend it to someone it seemed a little pricey for what we received. I wouldn’t classify this as “luxury”

I gave it a four star for room because the handicap accessible room we were in was not really that. The bathroom door when open you couldn’t get into the room it blocked the entire entrance. The bathtub had no bench only bars. There wasn’t a working fan in the bathroom so you had to leave bathroom door open and our room didn’t have any trash can not a single one. However, we chose to not to even worry about it cause Cheersport is nonstop and the way they decorated and went all out for our girl here was awesome! They were so comfortable! Wish they had smart TVs for Netflix or streaming compatibility but it didn’t. I would definitely stay again.

I want to recognize Natasha for the incredible service she provided at the restaurant inside the The Courtland Grand Hotel. Natasha is truly one of the hardest-working servers I’ve ever encountered. Even while managing multiple tables, she never missed a detail. She moved with purpose, stayed organized, and handled every request with patience and professionalism. No matter how busy the restaurant became, she maintained a calm, positive attitude and made each guest feel like a priority. Her work ethic is impressive, you can tell she genuinely cares about doing her job well and ensuring guests have a great experience. Natasha’s dedication and consistency did not go unnoticed, and she absolutely deserves recognition for the outstanding effort she puts into her work.

I had an amazing dining experience at the restaurant inside the The Courtland Grand Hotel, and it was all thanks to our wonderful server, Natasha. From the moment we sat down, Natasha was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. She made sure our drinks were always filled, answered our questions about the menu with confidence, and offered great recommendations. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality truly stood out. Natasha went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm personality made the meal even more enjoyable. Excellent service like hers makes all the difference. Thank you, Natasha, for such a great experience!

If you find yourself at the Courtland Grand, do yourself a favor and head straight to Fandangles Bar, and pray that DJ is behind the wood. It’s rare to find a bartender who perfectly balances efficiency with genuine hospitality, but DJ nails it. I came in after a long day of travel, and he immediately made me feel like a regular. He doesn't just "pour drinks"—he actually listens to what you like and crafts something elevated. Whether you’re looking for a classic cocktail or a recommendation from their selection, his knowledge is top-tier. Highlights of the experience: • The Vibe: DJ keeps the energy of the bar upbeat and welcoming, even when it gets busy. • Skill: My drink was perfectly balanced—no shortcuts taken. • Service: Attentive without being overbearing. My glass was never empty for long. Fandangles is a beautiful spot, but it’s the service that makes it a destination. Thanks for the great night, DJ! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Would you like me to adapt this review to be a bit shorter for a platform like Google Maps, or perhaps add a specific drink recommendation?
