The Courtland Grand offers a convenient Atlanta location with comfortable rooms and a pool, but it is clearly an older property requiring significant renovations. Guests report inconsistent cleanliness and mixed service experiences, with extreme fee structures and occasional security concerns.

Natasha was a wonderful server ay fandanles and the food came out quick and tasted great. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool. The hotel was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and not too far from the aquarium. It was an easy train ride from the airport which saved us quite a bit on a rental car.

The valet parking is too much, $60 a day. The hotel rooms need an upgrade for this price, stains on the chairs, moisture marks on the ceiling and walls. The hotel says newly renovated, don't believe it, they still have rooms that are in need of renovations. I chose the pool view, the pool is enclosed, and your room is on the same level as the pool. So, you'll hear the noisy kids in the pool, up & until 10pm. There is a glass door in your room that opens up into the pool area. Check the latch to make sure it is properly locked, mine was unlatched. Don't get the pool view! The carpet floors looked really dirty. The best thing here is the staff, who are there to help you, they are very polite and professional. There are restaurants on the property. But, I highly recommend not staying here. There are hidden fee for everything, check before you book. I will not be staying here again.

This hotel wasn’t the worst but could have provided a better experience. Overall the lobby, pool, and common areas were clean. There were a couple of issues with one elevator going down on the first day but that seemed to get fixed for the rest of the weekend. The pool area was beautiful and was a major reason we chose to stay here. The only complaint here is the towels were so small at the pool, smaller than our bath towels in the room. On our first night the room was a problem. The AC was not working correctly, only one outlet worked, the sheets smelled terrible, and the hot water and water pressure in the shower were both awful. After informing the staff they did move us to a new room and gave us a free breakfast which was appreciated. They were very nice when we brought up the concerns. The new room was in much better shape but did smell a bit like a smoking room. The location was good for what we needed, but we did have to either pay $60 a night for valet or pay to park in the garage across the street. Overall, not the worst stay ever but I probably would not stay here again or recommend it to someone it seemed a little pricey for what we received. I wouldn’t classify this as “luxury”

I gave it a four star for room because the handicap accessible room we were in was not really that. The bathroom door when open you couldn’t get into the room it blocked the entire entrance. The bathtub had no bench only bars. There wasn’t a working fan in the bathroom so you had to leave bathroom door open and our room didn’t have any trash can not a single one. However, we chose to not to even worry about it cause Cheersport is nonstop and the way they decorated and went all out for our girl here was awesome! They were so comfortable! Wish they had smart TVs for Netflix or streaming compatibility but it didn’t. I would definitely stay again.

I want to recognize Natasha for the incredible service she provided at the restaurant inside the The Courtland Grand Hotel. Natasha is truly one of the hardest-working servers I’ve ever encountered. Even while managing multiple tables, she never missed a detail. She moved with purpose, stayed organized, and handled every request with patience and professionalism. No matter how busy the restaurant became, she maintained a calm, positive attitude and made each guest feel like a priority. Her work ethic is impressive, you can tell she genuinely cares about doing her job well and ensuring guests have a great experience. Natasha’s dedication and consistency did not go unnoticed, and she absolutely deserves recognition for the outstanding effort she puts into her work.

I had an amazing dining experience at the restaurant inside the The Courtland Grand Hotel, and it was all thanks to our wonderful server, Natasha. From the moment we sat down, Natasha was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. She made sure our drinks were always filled, answered our questions about the menu with confidence, and offered great recommendations. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality truly stood out. Natasha went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm personality made the meal even more enjoyable. Excellent service like hers makes all the difference. Thank you, Natasha, for such a great experience!

If you find yourself at the Courtland Grand, do yourself a favor and head straight to Fandangles Bar, and pray that DJ is behind the wood. It’s rare to find a bartender who perfectly balances efficiency with genuine hospitality, but DJ nails it. I came in after a long day of travel, and he immediately made me feel like a regular. He doesn't just "pour drinks"—he actually listens to what you like and crafts something elevated. Whether you’re looking for a classic cocktail or a recommendation from their selection, his knowledge is top-tier. Highlights of the experience: • The Vibe: DJ keeps the energy of the bar upbeat and welcoming, even when it gets busy. • Skill: My drink was perfectly balanced—no shortcuts taken. • Service: Attentive without being overbearing. My glass was never empty for long. Fandangles is a beautiful spot, but it’s the service that makes it a destination. Thanks for the great night, DJ! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Would you like me to adapt this review to be a bit shorter for a platform like Google Maps, or perhaps add a specific drink recommendation?

Me and my husband travel here for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The room was ok but the bartender was the absolute best part of our trip. Mr.Dj ensured me and my husband food and drinks were to our liking before we left and headed back to our room. I would say if you have a chance to stop please do and say Hello to “DJ” on the 3rd floor Fandangles Bar & restaurant this guy here is phenomenal especially at making great drinks ?

Courtland Grand Hotel Our journey to Atlanta was rough, to say the least. What should have been a smooth trip from Tampa, Florida turned into a 7-hour travel day due to delays with American Airlines. We were stuck on the plane for over an hour and a half because the aircraft ahead of us had a flat tire, preventing our plane from pulling in to let us deplane. By the time we finally arrived, my husband and I were exhausted, irritated, and very hungry. Despite all of that, the moment we checked in at the Courtland Grand, everything changed. Aalyaah and Lorraine (Night Auditor) greeted us with such a warm, genuine, and welcoming attitude that we almost instantly forgot about the nightmare of a travel day we had just endured. Their kindness, professionalism, and positive energy made us feel truly valued and cared for. It honestly made all the difference. Every hotel should have staff like Aalyaah and Lorraine. They turned a frustrating experience into a comforting one and reminded us what excellent customer service truly looks like. Thank you, ladies, for your kindness and for ending our long day on such a positive note. You are truly appreciated! ?

Stayed here for a work conference, but the issues started from the beginning. First room I was given was 95F when I entered it. The issue was "fixed", but the temperature never came down. I was given another room which was much better, but damage done. Hotel restaurants and snack shop are extremely overpriced. The main evening hotel restaurant is not well serviced as they do not have adequate help when the restaurant is busy. Location is pretty good with respect to accessibility to restaurants and such, but there was a homeless person bathing in the lobby restroom the first day I went into it. I also cannot seem to get a receipt for my stay. I have called and the phone rings endlessly until it disconnects. I have tried their website to no avail. I have called Wyndham only for them to tell me I need to call the hotel. Certainly not a chain I will stay with again.
