The location is good and interesting. You’re a 5 minute walk away from wonderful centennial park one direction, and a 5 minute walk away in the other direction to a park filled with criminal activities and homelessness, not safe to walk on your own. The staff is very friendly but friendliness can only cover so much. The AC temp is centrally controlled so the room was extraordinarily uncomfortable. We were here in the summer with 90°+ weather and it is frustrating to walk into a room that is not cooled. The breakfast once again, super friendly staff but food options were limited. No omelettes or egg station, small, cramped, and food that was there was not appetizing. Over or undercooked, or what I thought was egg bites was actually shaped like egg bites but instead was a small open faced half biscuit with cheese and bacon crumble on top. Very little fruit or proteins, I do remember seeing a greyish sausage patty I passed on. From my point of view, the rank and file employees are very friendly, and genuinely try. This hotel feels like leadership or upper management has a very tight budget “cut costs” vs “guest experience” mandate. Not expecting 5 star hotel amenities but this definitely had me feeling like I’m at an entry level hotel, with frontline staff who do have 5 star attitudes but are limited to what they can do.

The hotel room we had (2 queen sized beds) was fairly clean and the staff at this hotel were great. The hotel breakfast was unusually good for being hotel breakfast - the meat was pretty good and they had fresh local yogurt on tap - and one of the servers in particular, Zella, was very helpful and accomodating. It was a walkable distance to the university and to many good restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

We came for a quick visit to the aquarium. The hospitality at this hotel made an already amazing trip that much better. I can’t rave about how incredible the staff here is. Every. Single. Person. Is. So. Friendly. Amelia and Kimberly at the front desk were my standouts! Fantastic customer service and tips that helped make the trip that much smoother. Thank you both! We were late for breakfast and the woman in the kitchen was so kind as well. I wish I remembered her name because she was so sweet and one of a kind. There were tweens making waffles alone and she helped them so patiently. The staff makes you want to return here. The hotel is 3 blocks away from the park then a few minutes walk in the park to the aquarium. No bar inside the hotel but staff will give you plenty of recommendations to where to go depending on your situation. We loved our stay! Kudos 100000% to the staff for the GENUINE KIND hospitality!!

The staff and valet staff were absolutely incredible. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived! Valet and check in was speedy and efficient. I was incorrectly charged a smoking fee and after reviewing it with management they handled it for me with no issues! This is the hotel I will book any time I come to Atlanta!

From the moment I arrived I felt very welcomed. Was on a work trip. Atlanta and Miami. This hotel seemed to embody the stereotype that Atlanta really has southern hospitality. When you’re traveling on your own little things like this, make a big impression. Everyone from the front desk to the valet was was awesome. The rooms were nice and big, which is good as I am a filmmaker and have a lot of stuff. Also it’s very affordable. I think the rooms could be a touch cleaner, there was a stain on the floor, but otherwise clean. Would def recommend this spot.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. Mo was incredibly helpful and truly fantastic. She made the experience even better with her kindness and professionalism. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Atlanta and close to everything. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to town.

I can’t say enough great things about Kim and Tee. They went above and beyond to help me when I lost my wallet. Not only were they incredibly kind and reassuring, but they also took the extra step to contact the correct hotel I was staying at and helped me retrieve all of my items. They truly are amazing people, and without their help, the situation could have turned out very differently. The level of care and customer service they provided was outstanding and genuinely meant a lot to me. Because of Kim and Tee, I will absolutely be staying at this hotel again in the future. Exceptional service like this is rare, and they deserve all the recognition.

Only good thing about this H2S is the location form the football stadium. I’m a big fan of H2S/Hilton and this isn’t look any other H2S. Small/Tiny Rooms at best. If you are DISABLED /WHEELCHAIR BOUND this isn’t to hotel for you. As soon as I pulled up to the front , parking in on the small barrow street, so if your setting up manual wheelchair your literally in the street. HAZARD…… Valet NEVER came out to car. Only 3 spots at best for Valet. I. Priced I had to go down to end of corner to sidewalk ramp a ways down the street. Valet still didn’t come out to help, they stayed at the desk. Went inside got valet ticket. Went to elevators (OMG) I have closets bigger than these 3 elevators. One elevator on the right side must be for house keeping because I have a 17 inch wide TILITE wheelchair and it barely fit in the tiny elevator. Went to room 305 which is a ADA Room with Roll in shower. The room was so tiny not used to small rooms/spaces at H2S locations. My other family members had another room in hotel and before I could get back downstairs they were already back at the front desk. Their room hadn’t even cleaned but they stated that it was. As soon as you came into the room someone had wasted something on the floor and just left it and it was sticky on floor. Beds/ linen were nasty dirty looking. Some of the staff were being rude because we told them we wanted to cancel the rooms because they were unsat and small for our accommodation especially for ADA Acceptance and more of a hazard. I go to a lot of football games and events and NEVER have I had a small/tiny ADA room like this before, let alone not clean and ready to go especially when you are already checked in and have a digital key issued hours before arriving. Which we arrived at 530 and room was supposedly ready at 3 because we all received email confirmation and notification at 3. We literally had to call a GM to get the rooms canceled because they wanted to charge us for the night when all we did was walk/roll into the room and then exit. So please do a lot more research because they have pictures posted of other nicer H2S rooms that that’s not what you will be getting. Thank goodness we were able to go around the corner to Signia and it’s night and day better EVERYTHING…….

The absolute best staff I have ever encountered at a place where I have stayed. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The room was clean and security was great. The breakfast was awesome as well. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The staff was wonderful; the gentlemen at the front desk were so welcoming and Sonya at breakfast was so nice! The rooms were spacious and I loved having a full fridge. The only con with the room was the cigarette smoke smell coming into the bathroom from another guest room but it didn't ruin our night. We had a big passenger van so we couldn't use the valet parking. Instead, we parked in the surface lot across the street and didn't have any issues. The hotel is around the corner from the Georgia Aquarium, which is where we were headed, so that was very convenient. The hotel felt safe since you had to have a room key to enter and use the elevators. Overall, if we travel back to downtown Atlanta we would definitely stay here again!
