The Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown consistently receives positive reviews, highlighting its convenient downtown location, comfortable rooms, and friendly, attentive staff. While most guests appreciate the spacious accommodations and excellent service, some have reported issues with parking costs and inconsistencies in room upgrades or amenities. Overall, it’s a well-regarded hotel offering a positive experience for many.
Cherrell was so helpful with getting us situated in our room!! She was also very welcoming ! The room is amazing and I love the layout. Will definitely be back.
My insurance company placed me here while renovations were taking place on my home. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I was treated like a valued guest! Isaack and Princess greeted me like I was a long time friend. The location is perfect and close to everything one needs downtown. The room had everything imaginable to make for a superb, comfortable stay. Each morning the breakfast area was filled with anything you could ask for. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
This was a great hotel choice with plenty of things and places to see and go to! I was instantly upgraded to a king suite upon arrival by the kind receptionist Richard and was greeted and welcomed back after every leave and return to the hotel. The room was nice and clean. We were offered fresh and clean linens every day of our stay. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to stay as I want to return one day myself!!
We loved this! It was affordable, the perfect base for the activities we wanted to do in Georgia, had all the amenities we needed, and was clean. The employees are top tier! Parking is valet only but was quick, courteous, and convenient. The breakfast is larger than many other hotels I have stayed at, and stays stocked throughout the morning. The hotel is clean, safe, bright, and welcoming. A great deal at this price point.
I would like to start by saying that we are a military family that in 20 years have stayed in hundreds of Hotels throughout the country. The staff at this hotel were the friendliest we have ever experienced. I mean everyone the front desk, valet ,bar staff, house keeping. You were all wonderful and made our stay amazing!
Attended a game at state farm arena which was about a half mile away. Had a smooth check in and check out. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the aquarium and several restaurants in the area.
I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The entire place was very clean and well-maintained, and it was within walking distance to the Georgia Congress Center, which made the stay even more convenient. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff were always polite and welcoming. I especially want to mention Adanna, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed something or had questions, she was always there with a smile and a solution. Her kindness truly made our stay better. The only thing I wish for is a wider variety of breakfast options. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
Very friendly staff. The location was convenient to the aquarium and Centennial Park. Parking was costly, and the breakfast could have had more, but it was good. I was also hoping the bar had sweet wine, but I guess it's not popular enough. Overall, a great experience that added another brand to my Hyatt account (every 5th brand gives you a free night, and I'm at 6). I was treated very well as an Explorist, but I was hoping to have a walk-in shower instead of a shower-tub.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. And the location is ideal for visiting the aquarium. However, there were numerous unpleasant surprises. They up charge for every little thing. In fact, they give you a print out of all the unposted up charges after you check in. The website says parking is one price but when you get there they require you to pay $60 for vallet parking. Breakfast is now an additional $11 per person and their "Starbucks" offerings are severely limited. Their happy hour specials are non existant with a closed bar because apparently the bartender didn't come to work. We ended up going elsewhere for things that should have been included in the Hyatt brand. And finally, while the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom door didn't close properly and was unable to lock. Our stay certainly wasn't worth the price we paid.
Hyatt House was great. We stayed here for Shaky Knees this year. Only a $10 Lyft to Piedmont Park. The were some great restaurants just a short walk away. Cheesesteaks, coal oven pizza, beer garden. The pool was nice and clean with good seating. The room are updated and good size. And the staff was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend and a decent price. H bar was also nice but only open 5-10
