This Hampton Inn offers a strong service experience and ideal proximity to Georgia Tech, though several reviewers report tired room conditions and noise distractions that affect comfort.

I think Tayy at the front desk and all front desk folks we encountered were so kind and hospitable. So much so I felt the need to write a review. The hotel served its purpose but it can use some upkeep in certain areas. For example, my bathroom had some patch work done on the ceiling that looked awful. But overall, the service and location were very helpful.

We enjoyed our visit to this hotel. The location was conveniently located with a nice view of the city-line. The valet service was $30/day but such a nice touch. We thought both Timothy & Anthony were very friendly and helpful as well as respectful of our vehicle. The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were helpful and check-in/check-out was easy. The breakfast choices were good and there were plenty of seating options for breakfast. I especially loved the safety of this hotel. You needed your room key to use elevators/entry doors. My only complaint is that we didn't have microwave in our room, which feels pretty standard for most hotels. I used booking.com for my reservation and had no issues. We would recommend staying here to others.

Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonably good breakfast bar. Not near MARTA, so it's not the best location for getting downtown. Ride-share is the choice. I'm okay to pay for parking, but $30 to park on-site seems high--like it's a "gotcha" for profit rather than an amenity or service. Property and rooms are clean, but tired--time for a refresh.

This hotel is affordable for the location, but I was traveling with my dogs and I had to pay $75 fee when the site says $50, plus I paid $30 for valet parking since that's the only option to park my car. Rooms are not in the best shape: at night I could hear all the noise from outside like I had my window open, the fridge wasn't working and had no freezer, there was no microwave, the shower pressure was not working correctly and the water was so hard to control. They promise 24 hr coffee and tea and during breakfast was gone even after I asked nto refill the coffee machine. Usually all (or most) hotels have a side entrance for my dogs, but this hotel had a controlled by alarm door. My only good highlight is the service from the front desk: they are so kind, helpful and extremely nice.

I stayed here for the SEC championship game. The location was nice and room itself was fine. An average Hampton Inn. However, I got food poisoning from the breakfast and emailed the manager following. He never got back to me, but a different employee responded and tried to dismiss my concerns and blame it on a different source. No subsequent follow up from anyone. Will likely be a Marriott person from now on.

The level of unprofessionalism and lack of orderly conduct at this hotel is truly insane. I’ve stayed here before, and while the property itself could be enjoyable, the management has become incredibly lackluster. There’s no sense of leadership, structure, or accountability — it often feels like chaos behind the scenes, and unfortunately, that shows in the guest experience. The only reason I’m even holding back from a harsher review is because of the front desk team — TAY, Kristen, and Ms. V. They were the saving grace of my stay. Each of them went above and beyond with genuine kindness, professionalism, and hospitality, which is more than I can say for management. They handled situations that shouldn’t have been theirs to fix with grace and patience. It’s disappointing to see a hotel with potential be so poorly run. Until management steps up and addresses the lack of professionalism, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re prepared for disorganization and frustration — no matter how hard the good staff try to make up for it. During my recent stay, I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service provided by the front desk and valet staff. In particular, Tay and Kristen at the front desk set a remarkable standard for professionalism and genuine care. Tay was an absolute standout throughout my stay. His communication was clear, kind, and efficient — every interaction felt intentional and thoughtful. He carried herself with such confidence and calm, even in moments that seemed hectic. Tay went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met, whether that meant answering questions, accommodating requests, or simply offering a warm, reassuring presence at the front desk. His attention to detail and ability to make guests feel valued truly reflect exceptional customer service. Kristen was equally impressive — personable, professional, and incredibly welcoming. She made check-in and day-to-day interactions seamless with her positive attitude and willingness to assist. Kristen has a natural way of making guests feel comfortable and cared for, and it’s clear that she takes pride in her work. Her professionalism, paired with her friendly and genuine nature, created an atmosphere of warmth that made my stay even more enjoyable. I also want to extend sincere appreciation to Ms. V, who consistently greeted guests with kindness and attentiveness, and to Tim from the valet team, whose courtesy, promptness, and professionalism were consistently excellent. The level of care and dedication from Tay, Kristen, Ms. V, and Tim made all the difference during my stay. They represent the very best of what hospitality should be — professional, personable, and dependable. Their commitment to excellence is truly commendable and greatly appreciated.

I had an excellent stay. The room was extremely clean. The valet parking was very nice and reasonable. The front desk clerk was very nice and the continental breakfast was awesome. I give this hotel a 10 out of 10.

We were there for a concert at Georgia Tech and it was on walking distance. Hotel was literally 5 minute walk away. The breakfast was amazing! However, is best to eat it downstairs because there aren't any microwaves in the rooms. There's one downstairs, however, by the time you get back to your room your items are cold again. There also aren't any bending machines. There is a little refrigerator with things you can purchase or either have charged to your room. I Door Dashed from the closest store and saved a bit of money. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel. Also great view of Centennial Park Ferris Wheel and night lights.

Our entire group was upset with this stay. We booked this hotel 3 months prior, expecting an awesome experience. Instead, the first room we were given smelled terrible, so we asked to be moved. The second room was even worse, so we ended up going back to the original room. The smell was unbearable and clearly just masked with air freshener, which did not work at all. When we considered leaving to book elsewhere, it wasn’t even an option — because of the Chris Brown concert, all surrounding hotels were completely booked. We were stuck, and unfortunately, our clothes and hair now reek of the heinous smell from the hotel room. Some of the staff were kind and tried to assist, but others were dismissive, which made the situation even more frustrating. After going through all of that, all we received was a small discount that didn’t come close to making up for the inconvenience and discomfort. For a hotel we booked months in advance, this was a huge disappointment, and we truly expected much better.

The valet Anthony is amazing and the woman at the front desk during the day time. I believe her name may have been Crystal. They were both amazing and helping. The housekeeping team did an amazing job having the room ready and clean and it smelled amazing. Any time I need to go to Atlanta again for work, I will stay here.
