The Hyatt Place Atlanta Centennial Park consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its convenient location near the Georgia Aquarium and friendly staff. While some guests appreciate the cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, recurring concerns relate to parking costs, dated room furnishings, and inconsistent breakfast quality. The experience I had here was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The staff is so friendly and so helpful, from the valet to the receptionist! The rooms were very clean! I also felt very safe, there were many security measures in place! I will be back for every trip to Atlanta!?

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The room was clean enough. I wish it had a microwave and smart TVs though. THE PARKING IS NOT FREE! If you want to use hotel parking it's $60 a night which is pretty absurd to me. If you want to get into your car while it's parked you have to go down to the valet, bring your ticket then have them escort you to your own car with your key in their hands. It's downtown Atlanta though so space is a commodity. I paid for the reservation online but when I got there I was also charged a $150 incidental fee. Maybe this is normal but it felt like a hidden cost. The location is great, youre 3 minutes away from the aquarium and 8 minutes from the children's museum. The complimentary breakfast is also nice. Overall the walk-ability is nice and so is the breakfast but I wouldn't come back here. Id look for a Hilton2Suits instead

Avoid this hotel if possible. I paid around $300 for one night, and the experience was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The first impression was the valet staff rudely informing us that overnight parking costs $60. That is an outrageous amount just to park your car at a hotel. When I got to the room, there were no complimentary water bottles. I went downstairs to ask for water, and the receptionist tried to charge me $4 for a basic bottle of water — something that even budget hotels usually provide for free. The next morning, we went for the complimentary breakfast that was included in the rate. The options were extremely limited. The sausages were burnt, the breakfast area looked dirty, and the eggs tasted bad enough that I asked for ketchup just to make them edible — but there wasn’t even any ketchup available. The only positive thing about this hotel is the convenient location. Other than that, for the price you pay, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else. I will definitely never come back.

We stayed here as part of a package deal with the Georgia Aquarium and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to do the same. The room was reasonably priced and we could see the aquarium from our window. The whole place was clean and well maintained. Valet is $60 for the day, but worth it. Staff was very helpful. We were able to get a late checkout for $25, which meant we didnt have to worry about bags and such while we went to the aquarium for day two. Your room key is required to take the elevator to your room, which is a nice security feature. The area was very walkable, with lots of restaurant options. Definitely check this place out if you are looking to visit the aquarium!

Came here for a quick getaway trip. Didn't know that we were supposed to get a breakfast card as we check in the night before. The lady at the breakfast area was so helpful and said you were supposed to get a welcome package when you check in. Told her no body gave me or my husband anything. The place we stayed was very clean. Beside the next door couple was aguring at midnight and you can literally hear everything. Not sure if they were drunk but their TV was on the entire morning. So I barely got any sleep. But its expected especially booking hotels downtown.

Right across from the aquarium! Within walking distance of most anything. Rooms were clean and service was top notch. The bartender Friday night was the best. She has the best disposition and so sweet. The server that made my kids their coffees the next morning was amazing as well. Stay here if you wanna have a great experience.

unfortunately would probably not recommend or stay at again. other than the fact staff was friendly and everything location wise was walkable/accessible. we were unaware of the $60 overnight/daily valet parking fee so that threw us off. going into the room i believe it was either really rushed or lightly 'freshened' after a previous guests departure. there were large handprints on the door, mysterious orange stains lol on the curtains and grease stains on the headboard. that made me pull the sheets back and we had pink stains on the linens, and blood stains on the 'mattress protector' which i'll use lightly. as well as on the actual mattress. the staff was friendly so there was no problem asking housekeeping for new linens, i just changed them myself so no extra hassle. the wall going into the bathroom was exposed and my one year old was picking up pieces of crumbled wall off the floor, as well as the wall corner protector (?) peeling off in the bathroom doorway. not sure if its the actual water or the shower walls but as soon as the water cuts on the bathroom does fill with a sweaty construction worker feet smell. there were lots of crumbs under the pullout, a soda cup lid, a spoon, and mints. the pullouts pillows also had black stains across the front and back. there was also a hardened orange gummy near the bed side that i'm glad i spotted before my one year old did. maybe we had bad luck and it was just our room or it was an 'off day' but definitely threw us off especially the blood. the homeless population is also pretty prominent around the hotel and my husband had a rough/loud experience with an older gentleman who later that night posted up outside the hotel on a bench which kinda deterred my husband from wanting to walk down the strip to grab dinner. definitely not an area to walk around after sun sets! breakfast was complimentary and enjoyable, and again staff were nice but definitely ruined the hyatt experience for the family and i.

We were surprised with a 60 a night valet park even though all sites say they offer as an extra service. I actually hate valet parking, I like to access my ride whenever and not waiting on someone else. Also their websites are charging 11.00 for breakfast, found out on site its free. The people inside the facility that work there are very customer service friendly. Their websites display microwaves in room and thats false theres a single microwave downstairs in the lobby. Bring your own pillow they have little square pillows that just went flat fast.

Pros: The staff were incredible. On top of everything, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, kind. The location is perfect for the aquarium and there are lots of great food options nearby as well. Walkable to a lot of attractions and food. Parking, although expensive, is easy and your car is secure in a deck. The hotel lobby, bar and eating area are clean. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel food from the bar was good and is available for order until 9pm. The view on the upper floors is great. Cons: We were on the 10th floor and the hallway smelled pretty bad. The trash in our room had not been emptied from the last guest. When we plugged in our phones it blew the fuse for the entire room except the TV plug. The staff flipped the breaker for the room and that fixed the issue, but the spark and power outage was scary for my kids. As others have said, the parking fee is crazy for the area and you have no other choice. There is absolutely no water pressure at all. This is by far the worst I've ever seen. A mere trickle from the shower head no matter the setting. It was absolutely awful. Last, the couch was pretty stained up. We didn't use the sleeper sofa, but I would be scared to see what the mattress looked like. The sheets did not fit the bed so the mattress is exposed and the sheets bunched up. Overall, I would probably stay here again, but not for more than one day or two. Also, I've seen the rates spike to $350/night here. I would be livid if I paid that rate for a smelly hallway and a somewhat dirty room where the power goes out and there is essentially no shower. Then they hit you with a $60/night parking fee.

Staff was great, they only have valet parking for $60. Rooms were clean, bed was great. Breakfast was decent. Can't speak on the bar/restaurant in the hotel cause we ate elsewhere. Overall it was good! Also booking.com had better deal for me than calling the Hyatt and reserving through them. ?
