Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown consistently receives high praise for its exceptional service, particularly from staff members like Nikki and Thomas, who are lauded for their friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel boasts a prime downtown location, convenient access to attractions and public transportation, and comfortable, well-equipped rooms. While some guests appreciate the amenities and location, a few have raised concerns regarding pricing and a lack of certain conveniences.
Shout out to Nikki! She did such a great job taking care of us at Hotel Indigo. The service was top tier, but honestly, she was just a vibe. Super easy to talk to, great conversation, and she made us feel welcome the entire time. It’s rare to get both excellent service and genuinely enjoyable interaction, but Nikki delivered both. She definitely made our visit better. Give that girl her flowers!
From the moment I received a pre-check-in email two days before arrival, it was clear that Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown sets a high standard for guest experience. A welcome text on the day of arrival from Vincent H. proactively provided details on filtered water stations, microwave locations, and refrigerator availability upon request — exactly the kind of thoughtful communication that makes a difference. Jaime H. went above and beyond by assisting with the check-in process for a second room when only one link had been sent. Both Nikki N. and Jaime H. ensured refrigerators were placed in both rooms without hesitation. Late checkout requests were approved immediately — no pushback, no hassle. A Saturday check-in to make sure everything was going well was a genuinely nice touch. Two staff members especially stood out. Javaugn exemplified exceptional customer service. During Atlanta Jazz Festival weekend, I asked for restaurant suggestions, and although there was no prepared list available at the time, when I later returned downstairs he had taken the initiative to prepare one for me. He did not have to do that. That is someone who genuinely cares about the guest experience. Nikki N. was equally impressive — proactively communicating via text while simultaneously multitasking at the front desk with complete professionalism. I also want to recognize Laurie for her assistance during check-in. Based on how this team carries themselves, this appears to be a genuinely great place to work. I have also visited the on-site restaurant on a previous trip — a great place to relax, eat, and enjoy an adult beverage. Recognized by a retired Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army — outstanding job by the entire team.
Excellent location, great rooms, and superb staff. Aretha was an excellent bartender and we really enjoyed speaking with her. The front desk staff was amazing. Throughout our stay, they helped us with anything and everything. I would highly recommend staying here and dining here as well.
Hotel is nice and clean. Great location to State Farm Arena. 10 min walk for a game/concert. ONLY safe to walk during events at the Arena. However, no complimentary snacks/breakfast and restaurant onsite is way overpriced. Bar is clean and good atmosphere BUT a vodka cran and a whiskey neat was $90!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, there is valet parking only and $60 a night.
Booked this hotel for a board retreat in Atlanta and we had an incredible experience! This place has everything: a great check in experience, comfortable, clean rooms, and amazing location and price! 10/10! Check In/Check Out: We arrived early and were able to check in early. Thomas at the front desk immediately made us feel like we were right at home. He was welcoming and extremely kind and friendly; we felt that Southern hospitality throughout the entire trip from him and the entire hotel staff. Thomas also was at our check out and wished us well; these little things really elevated our stay. Easy check in/check out process all around. 10/10. Room + Amenities: Our room was clean and bright, and a bit larger than we were expecting for just two people. Beds were very comfortable and we had enough pillows and blankets to stay nice and cozy throughout our stay. I also really enjoyed the soap and lotions that were provided. We had breakfast at The Drafting Table and the food was similarly priced to nearby restaurants. We also would head to the bar after our retreat and enjoyed their cocktails; I highly recommend their margarita! 9/10. Location: If you're looking to stay in downtown Atlanta, this hotel is the best location. It is steps away from the Peachtree Center MARTA stop; you can take this public transit directly to the ATL airport and be there in 20-25 minutes on the Red/Gold line. You are only a few blocks away from walking to Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, the College Football Hall of Fame, and a Waffle House (IYKYK). There is no better location in downtown Atlanta. 10/10.
My company books this hotel every year and for some reason this time around seemed strange. My colleague and I were going to check in and the front desk was not relevant. No one was there for over 10 minutes, we grabbed a beverage to take up time and eventually went back when we saw someone. Her name was Hibah and was extremely rude. I simply asked if it was shift change because of the delay of her but apparently not she was just busy in the back. As she began checking us in she received a personal call and walked back to the back to continue her call which delayed our check in even longer… along with finishing her meal. She finally came back and checked us in. I don’t understand the delay of your job and the responsibility that comes with it. This hotel never used to be like this! She made us feel so unwanted that after the first night staying there we ended up cancelling and going to ritz. Sad because I always enjoyed the smaller hotels but after that experience I am good. Bring back the old staff I guess.
The level of service provided by every staff member was outstanding! The valet attendants were quick, friendly, and extremely helpful. The restaurant staff were attentive and the food was ridiculously good. Our meals were about the same price as Hard Rock across the street but the service, presentation, and taste were so much better. A quick walk to the Aquarium, World of Coke, and so much more. There is even an underground food court (The Hub) and a CVS across the street. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4 adults. The city of Atlanta was well lit, clean, and we felt safe walking at night. We would definitely stay here again!
10/10 Highly Recommend! Very clean hotel and rooms! The entire hotel smells amazing. Even the sheets and towels smell amazing. The front desk and valet staff provide professional, friendly, true 5-star service. They provide refrigerators upon request. While there isn’t a smart TV, there are great channel options, and I bring my own Roku stick since I travel for business 100%. When I’m in Atlanta, I won’t stay anywhere else. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay amazing!
We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Indigo Atlanta! All staff that we met at the hotel were great, but Haily at the front desk was above and beyond helpful! The room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed breakfast and afternoon cocktails at the restaurant the food was very good. The location was very convenient and there was lots to do within walking distance or just a short Uber ride. We will definitely be back next time we are in Atlanta!
I can’t express enough how awesome my stay was at Hotel Indigo! The first staff member that was the experience wonderful was Sterling! He told us more about the city and places near by! He even helped bring our bags to the room. Dashawna, Phil, and Ness- helped us out at the restaurant/bar in the lobby! They were amazing! You need to visit this hotel. The location is awesome. Cute clean rooms
