Me and my fiance stayed at this hotel on February 14th for Valentine's Day. We had a great night and the hotel was perfect. We overslept the next morning and was greeted by the manager Ms.Freydi. She said get your butt out of here now. No No lol. Just joking. She had every right to charge us a fee for checking out late. I explained to her the night that me and my fiance had and we just overslept on accident. She was very professional an very courteous not to penalize us for oversleeping. Thank you very much for your courtesy and we will definitely be back for another stay. This place is highly recommended....

We’ve been traveling for competitive cheerleading for several years and this has been the best hotel experience yet. All of the staff was amazing, from valet to front desk. Louis at the front desk was especially accommodating and helpful. It’s a beautiful history building but well upgraded and modernized.

My partner and I stayed there for 3 nights. We had a really good experience with all the staff. Specially Melbra Bell and Louis, they made our stay the best experience possible. The breakfast was amazing, the kitchen staff were very nice. The location is good (our room had a beautiful view), close to the aquarium and everything, but at night is not very nice. Regardless of that, we had a really good stay. Thank you Melbra and Louis! We hope to see you soon!

Had one of the best experiences here! All of the staff work so hard and went above and beyond! Staff is so attentive that at times I didn't have to ask for anything because they were already offering what I needed! I really appreciate the excellent customer service and the willingness of the staff to help me with whatever I needed help with! Huge thank you to Louis, lady who is over the breakfast, Angelina(sp?), Bahari(sp?), and the Management Team! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Exceptional staff made this stay a 5star PLUS for us. From valet, to front desk, to breakfast staff everyone we encountered was welcoming and eager to be helpful. A crazy busy sports weekend was greeted with above & beyond customer service we rarely experience on the road. The hotel is older & could use some cosmetic & technological refresh....but that doesn't matter when you are treated so well!!!! Would stay again & recommend in a minute

Convenient and walkable location. William at the front desk provided great customer service. Shelly from housekeeping was great. The building is historic which I enjoyed. I stayed on the 19th floor so I had great city views. There were a couple of cons. There was a smell in the kitchen area which I believe was the garbage disposal (or maybe dishwasher). Also they have 24 hour laundry but the machines only accept quarters and they don't have change at the front desk nor on site change machines. Other than that pretty decent stay.

had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn Atlanta Downtown! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well cared for. I’d especially like to recognize Louie, William, and Rufus, who truly went above and beyond throughout my stay. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made a huge difference and really elevated my experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. My room was spacious, quiet, and well-maintained — perfect for both rest and work during my trip. Thanks again to the amazing team, especially Louie, William, and Rufus, for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Atlanta!

Honestly, this has been the worst Marriott Hotel so far. We arrived around noon, which is understandable that the room isn’t ready but they told us that someone would called us and they never did. We came back around 5pm and the Front Desk person at that time mentioned that the TV wasn’t working and that there wasn’t something they could do because they were sold out, his attitude wasn’t the best, not at all apologetic or feeling bad about this situation, didn’t offer any kind of compensation or something for the inconvenience, so it was disappointing. Location is really good but definitely they need to work on renewal of the building because it looks old and rooms are dusty and with maintenance issues. They did 2 different charges on my credit card, that haven’t been released.

Spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed, and an outstanding breakfast offering. Particularly appreciated the overnight oats with plenty of toppings and fresh fruit.
