The Hyatt Regency Atlanta offers a visually stunning experience with an impressive atrium and modern design, consistently receiving positive feedback for its friendly staff and convenient location. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in room cleanliness, occasional service hiccups, and concerns about parking costs.
Loved staying here. Very aesthetically appealing. Had a warm greeting by the bell hoppers. They were polite and helpful. Felt very well taken care of. Everyone was great. Room was great. The only thing is the food prices are a little crazy.
This hotel is so great! As someone who loves to club and get to a safe place, this one is great! And Abass took great care of our vehicle with the valet! Thank you guys for another great experience! Ps. Use the valet instead of self parking, it’s totally worth it
Comfortable beds soft sheets and large clean rooms. The restaurant has really good wings. The pool is also surprisingly cool considering the hot summers. The agent who checked me in, Patrick was awesome. Very helpful after a long day of travel and canceled flights. Hotels like this one are why Hyatt is the leader of chain hotels. Marriott, IHG, and Hilton just don’t compare
Stayed here for a few nights and had a great experience. The location made it easy to get around downtown, whether walking or grabbing a quick ride. The hotel itself has a lot of amenities, plenty of places to sit and relax, and a really impressive open atrium that gives the lobby a unique feel. Service was excellent throughout the stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Comfortable rooms, great location, and an overall smooth experience from check in to check out.
This hotel is amazingly beautiful. The room was spacious as if it was a whole apartment! 2 big TVS, a living room, nice dressing area, and a wet bar. I had views of the waterfall and pool. The lobby was beautiful. Easy to find and parking was ideal. I will be visiting this hotel again!
This hotel, recommended by Amex Travel, turned out to be a far cry from what I had imagined. Upon checking in, I was greeted by a rather unsettling scene. You would have thought this place was a motel where sex workers frequented with the types of folks who were roaming around the lobby when checking in. The valet staff at the front of the hotel seemed more interested in socializing than assisting guests. Instead of directing us to the appropriate areas, they were engaged in conversations among themselves. When I sought their help, they responded inappropriately and made a scene. It was an unpleasant experience. However, the front desk staff were a breath of fresh air. Their support and professionalism helped salvage the situation. I genuinely hope this hotel takes the necessary steps to improve in the future. Given its prime location, the surrounding amenities, and the anticipated influx of world travelers during the World Cup, it has the potential to become a truly exceptional establishment.
We had a nice one-night stay! Overall good experience. We dined at Sway. Good could have been a bit more elevated, but not bad! Market breakfast was great. Service: Our valet experience was the best I have ever had! Abass was infectiously friendly, hospitable, and helpful. While being the last person we saw before leaving, he was the most memorable part of our stay.
?? Important: Before booking, confirm with the hotel whether they are hosting large student groups. If they are, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. I stayed here for three nights during a business conference. The room itself was very modern, clean, and perfectly comfortable for a short business trip. The bathroom was bright, with a nice shower and plenty of space to get ready without feeling cramped. The meeting space worked well and I had no issues there. Drinks and snack offerings were good. Dining was mixed. The hotel restaurant has limited dinner options and prices run moderate to expensive for what you receive. Lunch during the conference was underwhelming — a very basic setup of salad, fish, chicken, and beef with a small dessert. Breakfast was ok nothing special. Parking is expensive at $60 per night. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was noise. The hotel was hosting a large group of students, and there appeared to be little to no control over them. The result was significant noise and lost sleep on the final night of an intense business conference — not ideal when you need to be rested and focused. Overall: solid rooms and functional meeting space, but be cautious about large group bookings if you value quiet and rest.
I stayed here while attending a work conference in downtown Atlanta. The building is beautiful with great views, and I liked the modern layout. The elevators were fast and efficient, which helped during busy mornings. The location is convenient for conferences. Easy to Uber or catch a shuttle, though it’s not right in the center of everything. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was good, and water pressure was decent. Staff wasn’t overly friendly but were professional. Overall, a solid option for business travel in Atlanta.
We had stayed at HR Atlanta back in October with our two children and au pair (3 adults and 2 kids) for fall break visiting from Texas. We had such a lovely stay. We loved the rooftop beehive and fresh honey every morning. We loved the sunset view from Polaris and our kids loved the sea bass and the steak! Their non-alcoholic beverages made them feel fancy! Hyatt hospitality was evident from the valet parking staff to the front desk staff was superb. The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained. Our connecting suite was relaxing. Walking distance to GA AQ, Coca Cola, ATL kids museum, and so many places was definitely a plus. We would definitely come back!
