I came here for my 11th wedding anniversary with my husband. The hotel is somewhat cool and very vibe-y, but booooyyyyyy is moxy wild on some things! Room prices do not equate to the experience- King bed but the pillows are so terrible, no closet, no mini fridge no microwave, bathroom door is hardly a door (no noise private poops here), cheap toilet paper, no shower water pressure (which is a big deal if you have a lot of hair like i do) no continental breakfast(there is one...for $27.50 per person for the most basic hotel breakfast) drinks/food are THROUGH the roof!! I think the beers at the grab and go are like at LEAST 10 bucks (i got 2 beers and a blue pre-made cocktail for $64) Nothing actually felt.....special here? For guests? Check in takes ages because its also the lobby bar, staff seemed miserable to be there and "over" guests. One elevator started smoking more than once and was put out of order for the rest of the weekend rather than being attended to. The pool is SO tiny. However, theres a male and female bartender at the rooftop bar and they are SO sweet & cool. I think those two were what I liked most about my stay. I wish i got their names so I could have given a shout out in this review! But I spent 480 on moxy and it jsut didn't feel worth the price. :/

My husband and I had a great stay at the Moxy! The receptionist was very friendly at check-in. All of the staff had great energy and good vibes which really stood out. The room was well put together and very clean. We enjoyed our free complimentary cocktail upon arrival. Parking was easy and location was not hard to find. There was plenty to do from pool areas, rooftop seating, Friday night live DJ, games and good people to vibe with! We look forward to coming back to visit and will definitely recommend to others!! Thanks for an amazing stay at The Moxy. Our Airbnb host Jason was very accommodating and very responsive to all messages and questions we had! The only recommendation I could give is to maybe provide small ice buckets when requesting ice from the bar versus individual cups.

I had an excellent experience at this location. The room was noticeably larger than those at other Moxy properties I’ve visited, and the amenities exceeded expectations. The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. I would especially like to recognize Raven, who assisted me during check-in. She provided exceptional customer service throughout my stay, promptly addressing multiple requests and offering helpful recommendations. I was particularly impressed by her professionalism and composure as she simultaneously managed a discrepancy involving a large group while assisting arriving guests. Raven made me feel genuinely valued as a Marriott Elite Member, and her outstanding service deserves recognition.

Great experience, room felt clean, staff was kind. Just a short walk from Piedmont Park. A welcome drink is included...the pool area was busy but doable. The food from the bar wasn't bad at all. There is no complimentary breakfast, breakfast is like $23 per person. Chicken sausage, bacon, grits and eggs were a few of the selections. There are other walkable options from the hotel. Overall a very nice stay....great for solo travels.

Nearby you’ll also find: * Colony Square (about a 7-minute walk) * Numerous restaurants and nightlife * Easy MARTA access to Downtown, Buckhead, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport ? ? Check-In & First Impressions Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, while standard checkout is 12:00 PM. ? ?? The Room Overall, I thought the room was comfortable. Things I loved * Responsive air conditioning * Great shower pressure * Plenty of outlets that all worked * Comfortable nighttime lighting * Good privacy * Comfortable bed The lighting deserves a special mention because it’s surprisingly well done. You can leave a few lights on overnight without the room becoming overly bright, making late-night trips to the bathroom much easier. Things that could be improved * Limited shelf/storage space * My room had a few cosmetic marks and signs of wear * Bedding design leans toward a western/cowboy aesthetic, which may not be everyone’s style Nothing here was a deal breaker, but they’re worth mentioning. ? ? Parking & Pets Here’s where costs begin adding up. Parking is $55 per night, which is definitely on the expensive side. If you’re bringing your pet: * $50 nightly pet fee * $100 one-time cleaning fee So yes… Raise the roof with your pets—but your wallet will definitely notice. ? ? Transportation This is one of my favorite parts of staying here. Because you’re only about five minutes from the Art Center MARTA Station, it’s extremely easy to reach: * Midtown * Downtown * Buckhead * The Airport * Mercedes-Benz Stadium * State Farm Arena Honestly, if you’re visiting Atlanta for sightseeing or business, you really don’t need a rental car unless you plan on leaving the city. ? ? Atmosphere & Noise This is important. The Moxy brand is intentionally lively. It’s designed around social interaction, nightlife, and communal spaces. Although quiet hours are generally expected between 11 PM and 7 AM, not every guest observes them. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d strongly recommend packing: * Noise-canceling headphones or earplugs * An eye mask Those two items will probably make your stay significantly more comfortable. If you’re expecting the atmosphere of a luxury Ritz-Carlton, this probably isn’t your hotel. Very frustrating parking experience. Got the incorrect information from front desk about rates and options available. They offered us a $55 pass for in and out access or $25 option to leave the car there. We opted for $25 option but upon checkout turns out parking was $40 … we would have opted for the in and out access option if the accurate information was present originally. The front desk was not helpful at all and just washed their hands about the parking situation and just said parking it’s 3rd party and nothing they can do. Even if it’s 3rd party parking this is the option offered to guests and front desk should know the rates

Before my stay, I had several questions about the hotel, amenities, and what to expect, and she was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the hotel, all of the available perks, and made sure every question I had was answered thoroughly. I also needed to make changes to my reservation, and Najah handled everything quickly and professionally. She made the process seamless and stress free, which I truly appreciated. Her friendly attitude and outstanding customer service made me feel welcomed even before I arrived. Thanks to her assistance, I am even more excited about my upcoming stay at the Moxy Atlanta. Employees like Najah truly make a difference and set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. Thank you for going above and beyond!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of security and professionalism demonstrated by the hotel regarding the breaking and entering of my vehicle while parked on the property. As a paying guest, I expected a safe environment and a timely, professional response to such a serious incident. The handling of this matter has left me concerned about the hotel’s commitment to guest safety, communication, and accountability. I believe stronger security measures and a more professional response should have been provided under these circumstances. Very disappointed I would not trust this hotel and the 3rd party parking deck.

Got a room for easter weekend. First floor had a nice vibe to it. So did the rooftop bar. Food and drinks were delicious. Great location. The room was a tad on the small side but the comfortable bed made up for it. They were very welcoming to myself and my great Dane. I will be back.

Warning: Personal items stolen from the room I writing this review to share my recent experience at this hotel. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent (02/12 - 02/16) stay. When I was out exploring the city and came back to my room, It was cleaned, bedsheets tucked in and my shopping bag (with all my shopping from the previous day) was missing. I immediately reported this to the management, but the situation was not handled with the urgency or care I expected nor I was offered anything to compensate for my loss. I was told by the staff that this isn't the first time this has happened. I would strongly advise future guests to use the in-room safe for everything and stay cautious or reconsider staying here until they address their security and staffing protocols.
