Guests frequently praise the friendly, attentive staff and spacious, well-designed rooms, frequently mentioning specific employees like Martha and Kenny. However, significant concerns remain regarding noise, maintenance issues (especially with the elevator and hot water), and inconsistent housekeeping cleanliness.
After staying at Renaissance waverly Hotel and disliking my stay there, I booked a room for a single night at Hyatt Place Buckhead. Here's my honest review: 1. Location is underrated and connects to some of the nicer localities in Atlanta. 2. Rooms are damn nice with all modern amenities and well thought design 3. Staff is extremely polite and give out positive vibes. 4. Price is pretty economical, I was surprised to see the value I got with the price I paid.
I had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Place. The management team truly goes above and beyond to take care of their guests, and it shows in every interaction. I especially want to recognize Pearl. She was incredibly gracious and attentive, making sure I was well accommodated. Highly recommend this place!
I had the pleasure of staying at this location while visiting family who lives near by. The location is a great location with nearby shopping. When I walked into the hotel I was greeted by Martha, Martha was very professional and had a great attitude. Thank you for a pleasant visit
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy despite being in busy Buckhead. The room was great. People should know that the bar is tiny and not a separate area from the check in desk. Food choices are MUCH more limited than what is on the website, but the staff helped us find something when we needed a quick bite before heading to our event. There are plenty of food establishments nearby if you have the time.
We stayed here on a Friday night while in town for a wedding and we decided to return here Sunday night because it’ll we had such a good experience. The staff made the difference, especially Martha. We wish her the best in her hotel management journey, thank you! The room was really big, and clean of course. The breakfast was hot and again the staff was welcoming- Kenny was the best, thank you.
We normally stay down town but the prices there are outrageous now. Stayed at this one and we're super happy there. The staff are fantastic and it's only about 15-30 minutes from downtown depending on traffic.
My senior father checked in on a Thursday evening and was very disappointed with the customer service both at the front desk and over the phone. Right off the bat, the staff seemed bothered and annoyed uninterested in addressing our questions like they didn't want to be there. He felt very unwelcomed and if they treat him like this I'm sure they treat other customers the same way. I expected a more professional and courteous experience. Never again.
Stayed here for a work trip. The service was amazing and the rooms super clean. I had a problem with my door and they quickly got it fixed. The food provided for the event was fresh and warm and the serving crew was very nice and quick on there feet.
The 6th floor room we had appeared to be recently renovated. The room itself was very nice with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nicely done, however very small. You had to get inside before you could close the door. Service was good, didn’t get the name of folks, but they made a great cup of coffee! Location was good for us, as we were attending a funeral at a church close by. However, be prepared to pay for the parking deck behind the hotel, as there is no parking onsite. It cost us $18 for one night. There was a problem with the internet, streaming on TV went in and out. I would not stay here again, even though it was nice. There was a bar across the street and noise from the traffic was horrific. It kept us awake most of the night. If you stay here, you should bring a noise canceling machine.
I didn't get any pictures of our room but they were clean and very comfortable the only reason I didn't give it an over all rating of 5 Stars is because there was considerable road noise that could be heard over night in our room. The Continental breakfast was good. Better than I have had in most hotels
