Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown offers a prime downtown location just across from Fox Theatre, praised for its friendly, character-driven service and cozy, renovated rooms. However, guests frequently complain about tiny bathrooms, expensive parking ($50/night), and a history of billing disputes and unexpected charges for amenities not used.

Please be cautious if you are considering staying at this hotel. First, if you only plan to park overnight and will be entering and exiting just once, do not pay the $50 parking fee through the hotel. It is only $45 if you pull a ticket yourself. Save your money. Second, carefully review your account before you leave. I was never sent a folio, and I was charged for bottled water that I did not drink or even touch. When I called, they said they would credit the charge. Instead, I was charged again. When I contacted them about the second charge, they told me to wait a few days. I still have not received my refund, and now I'm charged two times for something I never even touch. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Be aware and double-check your bill. There are plenty of other places to stay.

We attended an event at Fox Theatre and the indigo is the perfect location. No parking hassles at all we just walked across the street to the theater. Perfect! There are also plenty of restaurants in the near proximity as well as a small restaurant and bar in the hotel, which we utilized. The rooms are a little quirky, but for one night stay it didn't bother us, especially for the convenience. Shout out to Kennedy who worked in the restaurant bar. It was her first evening of work and she was given not ideal circumstances, and she rocked it out! It looked like a lot was thrown at her for a first night, and she rose to the occasion. Kudos Kennedy.

I would say 4 stars The rooms are fine, altho a bit small. Location is good, next to Georgia Tech However, there were a few hiccups with my parking pass not working during our stay and no trash can on our floor. We also didn't get cleaning service during our stay. However, the place was recently renovated and is quite cute and cozy. They made good use of the space they had.

We had a great 7 day stay here! It will always be memorable for a few reasons. A) proximity to the FOX was incredible B) The beds might be some of the softest and coziest and comfiest I’ve ever slept in and we have traveled to 49 hotels in the last two years. So that’s saying something. C) Don and Isaiah went above and beyond multiple times during our stay to make sure we have what we needed and Don provided some great recommendations on local food spots that we will always remember.

Hotel was very nice! Check-in was very easy and morning staff friendly. If you buy a parking pass for the parking garage, the garage height is very low... I think 6'1" which is lower than most so don't expect to park a lifted truck. We got a room with a Fox theater view. The Room itself was nice. The Bathroom itself was the only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the room. The bathroom was very tight. This is not a huge issue bc we were exploring down town all weekend so we weren't in our room much! The night life in the area is pretty good. The night host Izaya was very helpful and hilarious. Location is great, cental to a bunch of activities. Also.. having the electric scooters everywhere... you can get anywhere very cheap and the rides are fun too. Overall I was satisfied with my stay. I highly recommend for the price!

I stayed here for work this week. The location is perfect for access to Honeywell nearby. The bathroom is quite small. The rooms are modern. It has a lively small bar in the lobby. I didn’t try the food. I have to give shout out to Isaiah who works evenings/nights. Just a fun, engaging guy who interacts easily with guests and made the work trip a little more fun. Thanks Isaiah!

I recently stayed here for the second time. Location is great, front desk has always been friendly, and the overall customer service has been ok up until this point. Ladies, and in particular those that may use a flat iron when styling your hair, CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS AFTER CHECKOUT IS COMPLETE!! During my two day stay I used a flat iron to do my hair. Upon returning home and checking my credit card statement, it was discovered that I was charged an additional $584. Upon calling and asking what the charge was for, I was told that it was for vaping and smoking in the room. Ive never smoked or vaped a day in my life nor would I be foolish enough to do that when my company reimburses me for my travel expenses. The hotel did reverse those charges after speaking with the general manager, but as a “one time” courtesy. PSA…flat irons produce steam. So if it’s a one-time courtesy, and I choose to stay there again, am I not allowed to do my hair? Do I need to announce upon check-in that I will be using a flat iron at some point? Still flabbergasted at the response I was given

My stay and experience at this hotel is more about the people than anything else. The rooms were nice, and the location is very central if you're coming to town for business. However, it is the service that made my visit so special. From early morning greetings and laughing with Don, and being welcomed back by Isaiah, who made me smile after long days of meetings. The front desk staff really looks out for you and is always eager to answer questions to help navigate your visit to ATL.

Exceptional Boutique Experience in the Heart of Atlanta My wife and I just completed a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo in downtown Atlanta, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's boutique charm and sophisticated style. Our room was beautifully designed with modern touches that somehow managed to be both incredibly stylish and genuinely comfortable – not always an easy balance to strike. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, making our room a true retreat after busy days exploring the city. The location simply cannot be beat. Situated directly across from the historic Fox Theater, we were in the beating heart of downtown Atlanta with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The convenience factor alone makes this hotel worth considering. A special shoutout goes to Don, who provided outstanding customer service throughout our entire stay. His attentiveness and genuine hospitality elevated our experience and made us feel truly welcomed. While the hotel does have an on-site restaurant that we didn't have the chance to try, knowing it's there adds great value for future visits. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located boutique hotel in Atlanta, Hotel Indigo is an absolute winner. We'll definitely be back!

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this one is absolutely justified, and it has nothing to do with the stay itself, which was actually pleasant. The problem began after checkout. I redeemed a free-night reward through my IHG card, and due to my Diamond status the hotel kindly upgraded our room and included breakfast, a guaranteed perk for loyalty. Everything seemed fine until I received a $70 charge on my credit card the next day. Mistakes happen, so I called the hotel expecting a quick fix. Unfortunately, that is where the frustration started. The “guest billing” option routes you to Accounts, where the voicemail is full. You cannot leave a message, and pressing zero loops you back to the operator. I tried multiple times over several days, with the same result. I eventually reached Michael at the front desk, who said someone would call me. No one did. I called again the next week, same loop, same promise, no follow-up. Eventually, I found the General Manager’s email in the billing email and reached out directly. No reply. I sent two more polite follow-ups over three weeks. Still nothing. Six weeks, nine calls, and four emails later, I called again and asked for the manager by name. The front desk agent, not Michael this time, was curt and put me on hold, then never came back. At this point, it is not even about the $70. It is about the principle and the complete lack of accountability. Every guest, regardless of status, deserves basic customer service, communication, and respect for their time. The hours I have spent chasing this refund have already far exceeded the value of the charge itself. A shame, because the stay was perfectly good, but the post-stay experience has been the worst I have had with any hotel, ever.
