I chose this hotel for my wedding room block during the weekend of 5/29–5/31. My guests were able to book their rooms through my discounted booking link, which was very convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-decorated, and centrally located. My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for the weekend, and while there were things we enjoyed, there were also several issues that kept this from being the experience I expected. One of my wedding guests had an unpleasant check-in experience with a front desk employee named Marlon. They felt that he had an attitude and made smart remarks that were not welcoming. As a bride who selected this hotel for family and friends, it was disappointing to hear that one of my guests did not feel comfortable upon arrival. I also paid for jumbo cookies to be delivered to my room for my daughter, and they were never delivered. I brought the issue up twice during our stay, but it was never resolved or rectified. Another major issue was valet service. For the price being charged, I expected a much better experience. One of my guests waited approximately 45 minutes for valet assistance, and throughout the weekend the service seemed slow and lacked urgency. If guests are paying around $50 per night for parking, the service should reflect that cost. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, but at one point our room keys stopped working, which added another inconvenience during our stay. Overall, the hotel looks great and the location is excellent. If convenience and aesthetics are your top priorities, this may be a good option. However, for the price point, I expected a higher level of service. While the property is beautiful, the overall guest experience did not feel luxurious, and unfortunately I would not choose to stay here again.

I had a great time at the Kimpton Shane! The property is nice but the service is what takes everything up a notch. If you have the chance to experience Marlon at the front desk, you will certainly have a memorable experience! He was fun, welcoming, bubbly, and accommodating. He sent an amenity to the room after overhearing us talk about celebrating a milestone. It was a pleasant surprise & Shalita (I am assuming in IRD) was the best person to deliver! She definitely was the cherry on top and seemed just as happy as we were. Thank you Marlon and Shalita for the hospitality! We can’t wait to come back to stay with you and to have more cookies!! Whoever is baking the chocolate chip cookies knows what they’re doing!

Overall very consistent with the typical Kimpton experience. Nice room. Nice facilities. Nice staff. Great bed and shower. No complaints. Would stay again. Room 606 needs a few maintenance items - missing light bulbs and flickering bulbs.

From the moment I stepped out of my Uber, the hotel staff immediately demonstrated exceptional customer service and hospitality. The front desk team was energetic, welcoming, and highly professional, setting a great tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is a charming boutique property with a wonderful ambiance that makes you feel comfortable right away. I would especially like to express my appreciation to Bonnie and Tahjila for the outstanding service they provided while I was dining at the Hartley Restaurant. Their attentiveness and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. Another sincere thank you goes to Kori and David for their excellent mixology skills at Aveline. Their craft and friendly service added a special touch to the evening. On my departure day, I had a few hours before my flight and spent some time relaxing in the hotel. It was fitting that the final impression matched the excellent first one. I had the pleasure of speaking with the Sales Manager, Melissa Smith, who was warm, engaging, and wonderful to talk with. I truly appreciate the hospitality shown by the entire team. I would gladly recommend this hotel again and again.

The “Kimpton Shane Hotel” was a nice experience, very clean and affordable. The staff were quite friendly, with any request/accommodation that was needed. I appreciated the modern finishes and sleek design of the property. The hotel is conveniently located in midtown, great for walking around or accessing other parts of the city. I loved the amenities, complimentary social hour, breakfast buffet, late night DJ at bar/restaurant. Overall I’d recommend and stay again. The only dilemma I had was the drain in the shower of my room and a bit of mishaps regarding communication between the front desk and supporting departments. Regardless, every issue I had was resolved and I appreciate the willingness of the staff to address my concerns.

This was our first stay at The Shane—snd what a pleasure it was! We spent a full week around a family event in Midtown. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel had such a welcoming appeal, from the graciousness of the doorman—Brian was terrific—to the front desk staff. Fatima was wonderful as we tried to sort out a small snafu, another gentleman, whose name I regretfully didn't get, gave me a few bottles of water when I asked where I might buy some. And, Marlon was so much fun and so humorous and kind when we asked a checkout question. The room was very nice, very clean. Housekeeping was thorough. Loved the great shower pressure and the nice above grade products. The hotel is very well located for walking or driving around midtown. And we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride share. Fabulous experience!!

One of the nicest hotels in Downtown Atlanta. I came both for business one week, and for a staycation with my kids and it was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of gorgeous artwork throughout. I loved the style and designs of it all was just a masterpiece. The rooms are VERY spacious with gorgeous views of the city (floor to ceiling windows) which is dreamy to look at in the evening. The bathroom is super Luxe with a huge tub and great shower. So clean, and very modern. Amenities like the gym, which was very clean and had lots of selections including Peleton bikes, and lots of towels. The Hatley restaurant was also DELICIOUS. Staff was very kind, and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a mixed experience. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful, but the hotel has noticeable noise issues. The walls are quite thin—you can hear conversations from the next room clearly. If your room faces the parking deck, street noise also carries in easily. The food was average as well. Overall, the hotel itself is fine, but especially for this price point, it may not be the best choice.

I truly enjoyed my check-in experience with Mrs. Jaquel. She was warm, welcoming, and made the process very pleasant. The housekeeping staff, Mrs. Beatrice, also did an excellent job. She cleaned our room while I took my afternoon nap and made sure all the areas I needed attended to were spotless. However, the hotel itself lacked several basic amenities. The blow dryer and steamer in our room did not work, and I was surprised to find there was no refrigerator large enough to store our food and drinks. What really caught me off guard was that there was no microwave anywhere in the entire establishment to heat food, which forced us to eat cold chicken wings. While the staff was outstanding, the missing amenities took away from the overall comfort of the stay.

Front desk was super helpful and the hotel staff are all very friendly. Hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and the neighborhood felt safe since it’s mostly corporate offices. While the rooms are spacious they don’t really live up to the four star rating. The water pressure was terrible and the AC didn’t work during our stay. There was also no desk in the room and the fridge made a constant noise. Breakfast is through the on site restaurant and they seem to offer à la carte menu on weekdays and a buffet option on the weekends. There’s free drip coffee in the lobby every morning and a wine hour at night. The water and ice station on every floor is also convenient.
