Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead is a luxury high-rise hotel located in one of Atlanta’s most upscale neighborhoods. Guests enjoy spacious accommodations, modern amenities, and attentive service, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays.
The Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead offers a spacious and comfortable stay in a prime location, with recent renovations and a well-equipped gym. However, some guests have reported issues with room noise, a lack of mini-bar amenities, and inconsistent service at the breakfast buffet, alongside construction disruptions and valet parking experiences. Overall, the hotel provides a solid experience but has areas needing improvement.
Well appointed hotel in a good location, walkable to many restaurants. Good sized rooms, nice amenities, really good gym for a hotel. My issue is that my room (1124) had a loud ticking noise that would happen sporadically through the night, and woke me up/kept me awake. It sounded like it originated in the bathroom ceiling somewhere. The bed also wasnt the most comfortable, but not terrible.
The stay at hotel was very nice. But I will say the valet/parking attendants are extremely rude and impatient. They need to be trained on how to talk to and handle customers. The roundabout/entrance space in front of hotels is there for people to quickly park their cars while they check in and check out of hotels. Stop harassing paying customers! They need to be trained to understand that the space in front of every hotel is meant for patrons to park so they can check in or check out comfortably. That is not new. And I have never had This issue ANYWHERE else. I am not obligated to give you my keys either. Relax. And Do better.
The recent remodel is well done, though you can still notice a fresh paint smell in the hallways. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, we especially loved the Japanese-style toilets. The car service was a nice bonus and made getting around easy, so we didn’t need to take our car out of valet ($62/night). Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location.
I decided to stay at this hotel for my birthday as a staycation treat for myself and when I tell you every expectation was exceeded, I mean it! The manager, Meghan was amazing and really made me feel special during my birthday weekend from the room to valet to just the customer service from everyone. This is an amazing hotel to stay at and I highly recommend you visiting, especially for your birthday! I will definitely be back. It was a 10 out of 10 experience.
We had to go to Atlanta last minute to help my mom with a medical issue. We always like to have a lot of space when we travel and the 1100+ square foot suite was both beautiful, clean and extremely well priced! Overall, the service and location were excellent! However, there was no mini bar in our luxury suite. It had a full-size refrigerator, but there was nothing in it and no food or drink in the suite at all. However, there was a sundry bar called The Market in the lobby that was open 24 hours and the beautiful boy that worked there was just absolutely spectacular. I literally love him! He wouldn’t let me take his photo, but I have a photo of his name tag… his name is Sutton ???So I having that kind of made up for not having a mini bar. In addition when we were leaving, our Rent-A-Car had a flat tire and the valet generously offered to fill the tire with air before we left. That made such a difference because we would’ve had a real problem trying to get our tire filled before we left for the airport. The only other issue is that there is no adult entertainment in the hotel. My husband and I love to make any trip a romantic, and so that was a kind of letdown. Maybe that’s a southern thing but it’s always nice to have options.????
Stayed here for a NYE wedding and it was actually very nice. Rooms were clean and the front desk, bell hop, and valet did a very good job overall. Note, however, the bride mentioned that working with the events personnel was not the best experience, which is a credit to her because the wedding turned out to be an awesome night.
Loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It really does justice to its name. Its 'Grand' in every sense of the word! From our rooms to the ballrooms where we attended a wedding; everything was splendid! Highlight of this hotel: The beautiful Japanese Zen garden and water fall. Perfect for some calm moments amidst the city's hustle and bustle. ?
During our stay, we were somehow assigned a room directly under an active construction floor. Brilliant planning, truly. I’m not sure who thought, “Yes, this is the perfect place for guests”, but here we are. Sure, we were “offered” the option to move—after we had already unpacked and spread out all our luggage. Because nothing says hospitality like making your guests repack everything due to a mistake the hotel should’ve avoided in the first place. Maybe try checking which floors are under construction before handing out keys? Just a thought. Next time, do better.
I could give 5 stars. Front desk service was impeccable, professional and efficient. I want to send a special thanks to housekeeper. They were discreet, silent and respectful. My room was clean and neat. Everything worked properly. They really deserved 5 stars. However, my disappointment was at the breakfast service. Overpriced buffet with grocery stores itens that do not justify paid around $ 30.00. The place wasn’t even busy and my lady server was at my table twice: to offer me coffee and by the time I finished, to give my bill. I had dirty plates, cold coffee, no refills for water, juice or coffee. The bill “ for my convenience “ provided gratuity suggestion calculations of 18%, 20% and 22%…I usually tip way above this. The lady missed the opportunity to be surprised. Grand Hyatt missed the opportunity to get 5 stars. Maybe next time. Lets see.
Fantastic stay in a great location. Stayed here for work and had an excellent experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We stay here once a year for a nearby work event, and it’s always consistent. I’m a Marriott guy, but honestly, the equivalent Marriotts in this area aren’t as nice as this Hyatt. Highly recommend it.
