Twelve Midtown offers a luxurious and spacious stay in Midtown with a high-end aesthetic, equipped with full kitchenettes and in-unit laundry. While the prime location near Atlantic Station and Mercedes-Benz Stadium appeals to many, recent reviews highlight inconsistent service and maintenance issues.
Amazing Stay for Our National Cheerleading Event! We stayed at Twelve Midtown for three days while attending a national cheerleading event, and our experience was absolutely fantastic. We were on the 16th floor out of 18, and the views were beautiful. The building itself is stunning, modern, and very well maintained. The two elevators are incredibly fast, which made everything super convenient, especially during busy hours. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were always helpful and professional. Our apartment was spotless, very spacious, and perfect for our stay. It had two large Samsung TVs, which was a great bonus. The bathroom was modern and impressive, with both a separate shower and a bathtub, truly a luxury touch. The amenities were excellent as well. There is a fully equipped gym, perfect for staying active, and a beautiful pool that’s open during the hot season, a great place to relax and unwind. Everything about this stay was spectacular. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting for an event or just looking for a high-quality stay in Midtown!
My family of 3 decided to spend a staycation at The Twelve Midtown - Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel in Atlantic Station to celebrate our birthdays. We’re first timers! I originally checked Google for reviews as well as through the Marriott Bonvoy app. The pictures are not lying and give this location much justice! It’s spacious, convenient walking distances to Atlantic Station and it’s cozy. The staff is super friendly and seems to really enjoy serving people and ensuring you have a good stay. We were welcomed in by Aisha at the front counter. She gave us all of the information we needed to understand the property and all of its amenities. The property is really clean and well kept. The only problem is parking. The GPS takes you to the parking garage at Atlantic Station. Which isn’t correct. Set your GPS to Allora and it’ll take you directly to the Valet. Valet is typically $36/night. Or, you can self park which requires a long walk to the hotel. Other than the parking, this hotel is top-tier and a must visit if you’re near or around Atlantic Station.
(Anonymous account for privacy reasons) My friend and I drove over 5 hours to stay at this hotel for our first stay in Atlanta in years. I paid in advance to make the check-in process easier. Upon arriving in the hotel lobby we were rudely “greeted” by someone screaming across the lobby at us still at the door, asking if we’re coming to check in. It was Shay, the site manager. Looking back, she was judging us based off our looks and was looking for a reason to kick us out before we even made it to the front desk. Who screams across a lobby to cut two people off, mid talking, before they even get to the front desk?? At the start of the check-in she told me she cannot let us stay here due to me using a Cashapp card to pay for the room (I didn’t have my debit or credit card). I don’t understand the relevance of the card, because the $250 was paid hours in advanced and removed off my card. I have also used that card at other, better hotels, but I digress. She didn’t give any formal greetings, be polite, or even attempt to make causal small talk. She didn’t even give a single smile. Just told us we cannot stay here and that she cannot refund us. I didn’t expect a $250 hotel booking at a supposed 4 star hotel would get me treated so poorly like a criminal off the street. Long story short, I spent an hour making a bunch of calls and addressing Shay’s micro aggressions before finally getting my refund. She treated us like garbage because of our appearance; it was because of the color of our skin and the way we were dressed. We were dressed down in sweatpants and t-shirts because we had been driving for about 6 hours and needed to check in to freshen up and get dressed for the night. She could’ve been talking to millionaires, but already decided to mistreat us due to our appearance. I am a law student being treated like garbage by the hotel manager after paying $250 for a room. After leaving I noticed there are reviews dating back years ago discussing Shay’s discrimination towards people of color. They directly said she was treating non ethnic people with kindness and treated the people of color like they were worthless. Seeing as she still works here years later, this hotel obviously doesn’t care about racism, discrimination, or image of the hotel. Therefore, I will be posting this review on various platforms and also reporting this hotel to the BBB. I want to thank Shay and the Twelve Midtown hotel as a whole for reminding me discrimination will always exist, and that sometimes it comes from your own kind. Good news is afterwards we found a room at the SpringHill down the street with a staff that isn’t discriminatory, treated us amazing, and even gave us welcome gifts open booking.
We chose this spot because of the shuttle to Mercedes Benz Stadium to see a Seahawks game dec 7 2025. Wow were we surprised the hotel was very nice. The people were nicer. The location was wow! Christmas everywhere, ice skating rink, giant tree, great restaurants, and the shuttle was right out side. Perfect! Publix grocery also right next door, and since full kitchen on hotel we got some stuff to cook especially breakfast. Highly recommend this place the full amenities were a surprise including washer dryer!
My recent stay here was ok. The first night, there were a few hiccups where the room we were initially given smelled like mildew and Aisha was kind enough to switch the room for us. The room card to the room she switched it to didn't work, so not only did she assign us another room, but she also upgraded it as well with the help of the her manager (he was a male and I didn't catch his name). The room could use some fixings because the ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work and the toilet was a little shaky, but nothing too major. Day three of the stay, I had the pleasure of speaking with Shay (the manager) and I'm unsure what the other young lady's name was, but they were also such a breath of fresh air, customer service was top tier; they even wished me a Happy Birthday ?because of them, I would definitely consider staying here again. The location was perfect!! Brunch spots, shopping stores, activities and etc. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking with them again.
I stayed here for several weeks for work, and it was quite good for that purpose. The Publix nearby was helpful, and the rooms were spacious. Some rooms had in-unit washer/dryer units while others didn't, so check for that if it matters to you.
The units are spacious but I would not recommend staying here for the following reasons: 1. The TV in the living room was broken. 2. The unit had a funny smell. 3. There is no staircase and only one elevator 4. It seemed like the person in the next door unit could control the lighting in my unit. When I turned on the kitchen light, I heard foot steps next door and then the light gets turned off. 5. There was a lunatic yelling from his balcony all day and all night for the three nights I was there and front desk didn’t do anything about it. 6. I asked the front desk to charge two nights on one credit card and the third night on a second credit card, they said I had two separate reservations therefore I needed to pay the pet fee twice even though I didn’t change rooms. 7. Since they split my reservation into two, I have been having a hard time getting my Bonvoy points for all of the nights I stayed there. I only stayed because booking at another hotel at the last minute would have cost too much.
I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels as a Bonvoy member and typically enjoyed my stay. Twelve Midtown has been a huge disappointment considering the price of the stay. Since arriving on Monday (10/13), I’ve had to face the following: - Low warm water pressure in bathroom sink - Bugs flying around in bathroom - Ice machine broken and doesn’t work on the refrigerator - TV in the living can’t turn on with -the box hanging from behind it - TV in the bedroom has a faded picture, turns off randomly (checked the sleep timer and it is not on), no sense of the volume level - Room service didn’t clean the room on day one of my stay I called the front desk about the TVs when I first got to the room on Monday. The response was “we will send maintenance up”. The maintenance person was very nice but couldn’t really solve the issue. I was never offered a different room or any solutions. Completely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here for the price.
This is one of my top 3 favorite hotels in Atlanta. The rooms are super spacious with lovely and large balconies. The kitchens are very nicely outfitted if you want to stay in and prepare your own food. The service is great from checking in to the restaurant. Within walking distance is Poor Calvin's restaurant which, is AMAZING! I don't remember if it's Michelin star or what, but it's very creative, delicious food. Definitely a great hotel location and all around fantastic place to stay in Atlanta!
Such a great hotel. Every single staff member went out of their way to be friendly and make me feel welcome, which is the top reason I’ll be returning. The room was huge, with a kitchen and washer/dryer. This is basically an apartment under the Marriott umbrella. Clean, modern, comfortable bed, good internet for working. My only caution is there is a train track nearby with trains that blow their horns every hour or so. Recommend requesting a room on the side of the building opposite of the train track.
