The Embassy Suites Midtown Atlanta offers a convenient location and some positive guest experiences, particularly centered around friendly staff and a decent breakfast spread. However, recent reviews highlight significant issues with room cleanliness, maintenance problems like broken appliances and malfunctioning locks, and inconsistent service levels, including staffing shortages and lengthy wait times. Concerns regarding safety and a lack of responsiveness from management were also prevalent.

I spent a weekend in Atlanta for work (traveling by myself) and the Embassy Suites in midtown was a great choice! Walking distance to so many good restaurants (and a Target!), a nice atmosphere, and safe. The room was clean and spacious and the staff could not have been friendlier –from the front desk to the office staff (special shout out to Ms. Broussard who quickly and so kindly corrected a billing issue). I had breakfast at the hotel only on one occasion but the spread was quite impressive. Thank you!

This hotel has something going on with management or staffing that is very noticeable to the customers. We’ve stayed here twice before in the past but this time was totally different. Firstly, check in is at 4pm. We got there close to 5 waited in a long line because only one person at the front on a Saturday and then she tells us they are oversold and will check on a room for us. We waited about 30 mins and also had to wait for her to clear the line - while we watched others get room keys… Well finally we got a room, but the jankiest of rooms they could possibly have. It was so dirty, so nasty, we couldn’t even sit on the couch and guess what? We couldn’t get another room cause they were oversold. we were told they would be getting us another couch but 6 hrs later, none. When we called back they said they had none. They didn’t even offer to come clean it. Needless to say, we had to use a sheet to go over the couch. Pictures will be attached. We had a broken fridge (that spoiled my baby’s milk), we had a microwave with no plate in it so didn’t even heat evenly, and it was just dirty. We killed spiders - daddy long legs to be exact. We attempted to try the happy hour. The bartender was SO slow. People were waiting in line and she was bouncing to people who had been waiting shorter than the people who were there first. I know I waited 20 mins to get a free glass of wine. It wasn’t even worth it. And the fruit and veggies were brown…. Yuck. We also went to breakfast around 9 am on the Sunday morning and they had no silver ware or plates. The lady cooking omelets had to give out paper plates and then she appeared so annoyed by the shortage of silverware because while she is trying to do her omelet job, she gotta deal with people asking her for silverware. She even loudly stated, “People keep taking it to their rooms so we don’t got none!” . While we definitely explained ours issues to the manager up front, she appeared overworked herself as we had seen her, and only her, from sun up to sun down for 3 days straight working the front desk. It is visible that this hotel doesn’t provide the staffing or resources their employees need to make it a great place to work or a great experience for the customers. We spent a lot of money here and for this crappy experience - it was such an disappointment… I feel like we’re owed something but they didn’t even seem equipped to make anything better. The location is amazing, so if you stay here, stay with caution….

I reserved and prepaid for a room for three nights at this hotel. After driving overnight, I arrived to check in and was informed that my room had been given to another guest and that no rooms were available. I was effectively stranded. The hotel stated that the reason was a “late check-in,” despite the room being fully paid for and no prior notice that my reservation would be canceled. More concerning, I was still charged for the stay after my room was re-rented to other guests. Both Hilton corporate and I have repeatedly attempted to contact the property to resolve this and obtain a refund. The hotel does not answer the phone, and the voicemail inbox is full, making resolution impossible. This experience was deeply disappointing and not consistent with the standards expected of the Hilton brand. I am still seeking a full refund for services that were not provided.

Mid range hotel. Pros: Service was excellent. Complimentary Happy Hour was great (drinks and snacks), hotel was quiet and clean, breakfast was good (even though the bacon is kept behind the omelet station and is rationed out). Cons: “heated” pool is cold, barn door in the bathroom did not close all of the way so very little privacy :(, we were locked out of our room (door lock went dead) and stood in the hallway for an hour while they tried to recharge the door lock so the door could be opened, there should be more hand sanitizing stations at least in the elevator and food area (especially with it being cold season & guests coughing all over the place), parking was tight and if you arrive after 11pm, you have to walk up a very steep hill in the roadway (no sidewalk) in the parking garage to get into the front door (garage door to the elevators is locked at 11pm).

I visited for 2 nights. Everything was spot on perfect. The front desk staff was always smiling and super friendly. The bartender was so nice and engaging. All of the kitchen/breakfast staff were happy, polite. The lady who made the "made to order omelets" came around the dining room and asked every table how their breakfast was. The attention to guest happiness was spectacular. Even down to the housekeeping staff while engaging in the hallways. The rooms were clean, spacious and very nice. I will definitely be back to this hotel. The manager was very friendly and engaging also while I was at the front desk/lobby. Thank you so much for making a great impression and continuing to uphold the Hilton reputation.

My son and I just stayed here January 1st and 2nd as he was running in the Polar race on Saturday the 3rd. From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice. I wasn’t booked there for the 1st as we were driving and I had not planned on driving almost 11 hours straight, we were going to stay a night in maybe Charlotte, NC, but we went straight they had rooms available so that way I didn’t need to wake up in the am and drive again. I had to have two separate check inns though but no big deal. I just came down in the morning and checked in again but didn’t need to change rooms. Everyone was so kind, breakfast was good, room was huge and beds VERY comfortable. There was one small issue but I won’t put that on a public forum as it was no big deal, assistant manager thanks me immensely for bringing it to his attention. He was soooooo kind. We go back in July for another race and I already told the hotel I’ll choose this hotel again.

Arriving was kind of tricky due the parking garage being hiding in the cut but attached to the building. The lobby was beautiful and very clean. The receptionist were nice and helpful. I was greeted as a Honors Member, but the team member forgot to give me my two bottles of water lol. Honestly, I forgot too until I was in my room. She get a pass. I think she was new. Entering my room(336), everything seems nice and put together. The sink was stopped up, but we didn't complain. I found it odd that the bathroom didn't have sockets. I flat ironed my hair in the bedroom. The next morning, I got up for the hot breakfast which was delicious. The dining was clean and the host was nice. The next morning at check out, I usually leave my key cards and check out on my phone, but I decided to keep one with me. Luckily I did because I needed it to exit the garage...strange. I would stay here again though.

Embassy is always our go-to for accommodations, and this was our first time visiting this particular location. Check-in was easy, and we arrived during the manager’s reception. We have noticed over time that the reception seems to have been scaled down compared to previous stays, and when we arrived around 5:30 there weren’t many plates available. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the receptionist was standard. Our room appeared clean overall, but we did notice a few maintenance issues: a broken handle on one of the shower doors, the shampoo container had fallen off the wall, and the refrigerator was so cold that it froze our items overnight. Thankfully, that wasn’t a major inconvenience since it was only a one-night stay. At breakfast the next morning, there were also no plates available when we arrived. On a positive note, the older lady from Orlando, Florida working the omelette station was very friendly and provided great service. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. We may stay again, especially for a short stay, but a few updates and improvements could make the visit even better. * Self parking in on premise covered garage $37.
