The Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown offers a convenient Midtown location with amenities like free breakfast and an evening reception. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistent cleanliness, operational issues such as room lockouts and wifi problems, and occasional staff deficiencies. While some guests praise the friendly staff and breakfast, others report significant problems with room condition and service.

I reserved and prepaid for a room for three nights at this hotel. After driving overnight, I arrived to check in and was informed that my room had been given to another guest and that no rooms were available. I was effectively stranded. The hotel stated that the reason was a “late check-in,” despite the room being fully paid for and no prior notice that my reservation would be canceled. More concerning, I was still charged for the stay after my room was re-rented to other guests. Both Hilton corporate and I have repeatedly attempted to contact the property to resolve this and obtain a refund. The hotel does not answer the phone, and the voicemail inbox is full, making resolution impossible. This experience was deeply disappointing and not consistent with the standards expected of the Hilton brand. I am still seeking a full refund for services that were not provided.

Mid range hotel. Pros: Service was excellent. Complimentary Happy Hour was great (drinks and snacks), hotel was quiet and clean, breakfast was good (even though the bacon is kept behind the omelet station and is rationed out). Cons: “heated” pool is cold, barn door in the bathroom did not close all of the way so very little privacy :(, we were locked out of our room (door lock went dead) and stood in the hallway for an hour while they tried to recharge the door lock so the door could be opened, there should be more hand sanitizing stations at least in the elevator and food area (especially with it being cold season & guests coughing all over the place), parking was tight and if you arrive after 11pm, you have to walk up a very steep hill in the roadway (no sidewalk) in the parking garage to get into the front door (garage door to the elevators is locked at 11pm).

I visited for 2 nights. Everything was spot on perfect. The front desk staff was always smiling and super friendly. The bartender was so nice and engaging. All of the kitchen/breakfast staff were happy, polite. The lady who made the "made to order omelets" came around the dining room and asked every table how their breakfast was. The attention to guest happiness was spectacular. Even down to the housekeeping staff while engaging in the hallways. The rooms were clean, spacious and very nice. I will definitely be back to this hotel. The manager was very friendly and engaging also while I was at the front desk/lobby. Thank you so much for making a great impression and continuing to uphold the Hilton reputation.

Arriving was kind of tricky due the parking garage being hiding in the cut but attached to the building. The lobby was beautiful and very clean. The receptionist were nice and helpful. I was greeted as a Honors Member, but the team member forgot to give me my two bottles of water lol. Honestly, I forgot too until I was in my room. She get a pass. I think she was new. Entering my room(336), everything seems nice and put together. The sink was stopped up, but we didn't complain. I found it odd that the bathroom didn't have sockets. I flat ironed my hair in the bedroom. The next morning, I got up for the hot breakfast which was delicious. The dining was clean and the host was nice. The next morning at check out, I usually leave my key cards and check out on my phone, but I decided to keep one with me. Luckily I did because I needed it to exit the garage...strange. I would stay here again though.

Embassy is always our go-to for accommodations, and this was our first time visiting this particular location. Check-in was easy, and we arrived during the manager’s reception. We have noticed over time that the reception seems to have been scaled down compared to previous stays, and when we arrived around 5:30 there weren’t many plates available. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the receptionist was standard. Our room appeared clean overall, but we did notice a few maintenance issues: a broken handle on one of the shower doors, the shampoo container had fallen off the wall, and the refrigerator was so cold that it froze our items overnight. Thankfully, that wasn’t a major inconvenience since it was only a one-night stay. At breakfast the next morning, there were also no plates available when we arrived. On a positive note, the older lady from Orlando, Florida working the omelette station was very friendly and provided great service. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. We may stay again, especially for a short stay, but a few updates and improvements could make the visit even better. * Self parking in on premise covered garage $37.

Quin at the front desk was very helpful at check in. Update 11/18/25 This ended up being the worst hotel stay ever! From the time we checked into our room, it was a bad experience. One of the TVs was not working, which required the handyman to be in our room for over 30 minutes trying to fix it. Later, after a night out, we returned to our room and realized we forgot something from the lobby. We then went down to the lobby, we got back to our room and the key card did not work. We went back down to the lobby to address the issue with the Front Desk clerk. He did not know what to do and only advised that he had been calling management and the engineer to try to figure out a remedy. It was surprising that a hotel of this size did not have any backup plan available for when the key card readers are dead. We ended up being locked out of our room for over an hour and still no resolve. finally offered us another room for the night. until staff arrived in the morning. Long story short we got bounced around between two rooms, which was unacceptable. The rooms were underwhelming, especially the living area. The furniture does not fit the space and there was a small couch which was severely stained. Paint on the wall was discolored and the barn door for the bathroom was missing a handle. During our stay, we ended up meeting another couple who expressed the same complaint. They too had to be moved to another room because of dirty linens on the bed. I will add that once we expressed our issues to the manager she was very apologetic and willing to assist. However, the only good thing about this hotel is the free breakfast.

My stay was lovely starting with one of the most welcoming receptionist that checked me in named Quin down to the complimentary made to order omelets for breakfast! Upon entering my wife and I was greeted as a diamond member and thanked multiple times for my loyalty to the brand. I also was offered my complimentary snacks which these days are like pulling teeth from children! We even had a side conversation after check in about us both being from Birmingham which brightened my day the fact we shared some of the same upcoming. Long story short he made me feel at home and when I travel I expect nothing less than him. By the way he works very efficiently considering the fact he didn’t have any help which was also marvelous! I was also given a complimentary upgrade to an amazing room with a view of midtown which was also great. The room smelled fresh and clean, the only thing missing was a DND sign which after requesting it came in less than 5 min. Again my man Quin was on it! I am beyond pleased and will definitely be back here soon!

Quinn was absolutely nothing short of amazing. Check in process was smooth and I didn’t have to give my Hilton honors number, some kind of way he found me in the system. His professionalism, calmness, and drive is definitely an asset to your company! Rooms were amazing as well, the housekeepers definitely pay attention to detail. I also loved the ambiance of the place! Food was amazing as well 10/10 must stay !
