Hotel Colee receives mixed guest reviews, with notable strengths in staff service and the hotel's aesthetic. However, concerns regarding cleanliness, outdated facilities, and inconsistent service quality, particularly regarding room maintenance and responsiveness to guest needs, are frequently raised. The valet parking experience appears to be a recurring issue.
The bathroom was cramped, with a tub and toilet that needs replacing. The ceiling had a crack, and my sheets were stained. The design window area between the bathroom and the bedroom was unappealing. You could see someone using the restroom, and if you needed to use it in the middle of the night, turning on the light would illuminate the entire room, disrupting your sleep. The remote control didn’t work well with the TV, and Netflix was not working. However, JP made up for that. JP was incredibly welcoming as soon as we arrived. The customer service was excellent. The hotel room needs a bit of work. In my opinion, If you wanted the classy look, you could achieve that with a simple, elegant design. The room just looked tired and lacked sufficient lighting, at least in the room I was staying in. I’m unlikely to stay here again, but I’ll definitely recommend the staff to anyone I meet.
If you want to get some sleep at night stay somewhere else. I have never stayed at a hotel where I’m woken up multiple times at night because people are so loud in the hallway. I don’t know if it’s the quality of the doors or the type of people who stay here, but it’s beyond anything I ever experienced. I go to Vegas ever year and it’s much quieter there than in this hotel! Otherwise the hotel seems nice, rooms are clean, lobby looks nice. Hallways and elevators look run down a bit. So if you don’t need to sleep it’s a great place to stay
From the moment we walked in, Ashley at the front desk completely set the tone for our stay. She is truly exceptional. Not only was she warm and welcoming, but she went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of in every way. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, she anticipated needs before we even had to ask and made us feel less like guests and more like VIPs. Ashley is the kind of person who makes you want to come back to a hotel again and again. And I have to give a huge shoutout to Mia at the bar, she absolutely made my night. What started as grabbing a drink turned into feeling like I was catching up with one of the girls. Her energy is infectious, and she creates such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Ashley and Mia are absolute stars. The hospitality here is next level because of them. We’ll definitely be back!
I came to this hotel for an event at Rose and Rye. The hotel looks beautiful! Well decorated, classy and pristine. Valet was sold out for the evening. The parking wasn't too bad. Having to walk up a minor hill in 5 inch stilettos was challenging but do-able. The gentleman at the Valet stand directed us to where we needed to go. We did not stay at the hotel but we were in it. The view from the lounge was FANTASTIC. Perfect picture(s) opportunity. I'd definitely plan to stay here on another occasion. Thanks!
The staff is phenomenal, there is nothing else to improve on with the staff, I can say enough about them!!!! However, It was annoying having being on the 10 floor and being so close to the rooftop bar,it is Loud!!!! Especially when a masquerade ball is going on. Also, in our room, the HVAC wouldn’t stay on, it would just shut off and come no where close to cooling or heating the room to the desired temp. The rooms are trying to be modern and stylish, but the heavy use of inexpensive finishes makes them feel cheap rather than upscale. Lastly, the restaurant experience was disappointing. My daughter was served undercooked chicken tenders. The staff did fix the issue, which we appreciated, but this is a basic food safety expectation that shouldn’t have been missed. Again, I cannot praise the staff enough! They were polite, greater me everywhere we went, ensured we were taken care of and attentive to our concerns when we had them. Amazing staff!!
It is a good hotel. Clean. Staff are pretty good. Some great. Some ok. Rooms are large. Showers are good. Price is good. They have a nice bar. Gym. Sorry it is awful. Most hotel gyms are awful but this is really bad. There are treadmills if you’re into that. But fear not- there are gyms nearby that you can walk to. Consider Forum Athletic Club.
I was welcomed the moment I walked in and the customer service continued throughout my stay. Great food, the room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view. Very cute setup and the different restaurant options with really good food and drinks I didn’t have to leave the hotel. It was a vacation away that was much needed. I will be back.
We chose this hotel specifically because it markets itself as smoke-free and family-friendly. That could not have been further from reality. From the moment we arrived, the smell of marijuana smoke was present throughout the building. Our son is very sensitive to smoke, which made this especially concerning and upsetting. When we were driving in, the front desk.lady was helpful to get our rooms located near each other. I really appreciated that. Noise was also constant—doors slamming, loud talking, and running above us all night long. Sleep was nearly impossible. We left after about six hours with maybe 30 minutes of rest and got back on the road to salvage our vacation. I hate that we brought our son’s friend here and started our trip this way. Disgusting experience and a complete miss on basic expectations. We will not be back.
Hotel Colee truly exceeded expectations from the very start. The exceptional attention from every staff member elevated the entire stay from the speedy, friendly valet parking to the smoothest check-in experience. Directed by Montréal who opened the process with total ease, and his team, supervised by the elegant David Michael, kept everything running flawlessly. During check-in, Ashley and Aliyah were wonderful, and Amanda surprised us with some delicious hot chocolate that instantly made us feel welcomed during the cold Atlanta day. Their warmth and energy set the perfect tone for our stay. The hotel itself has this cool, hipster–artsy aesthetic: modern, bold, slightly eccentric, and absolutely full of personality. Even if it’s a bit more daring than my usual taste, it definitely adds character and levels up the experience. The rooms were polished, super clean, and beautifully aligned with the hotel’s artsy spirit, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Plus, the rooftop pool is the perfect spot to unwind with a view of the Atlanta skyline. On-site, the restaurant Sister is an absolute must. They serve a variety of dishes that consistently impress. Their must have is their smoked salmon, paired beautifully with truffle fries, as well as the roasted coconut cream cauliflower, which was aromatic, lightly sweet, and extremely satisfying. Another true highlights was their truffle prosciutto pizza, topped with creamy goat cheese and finished with fragrant truffle oil. Even though it is not real prosciutto, the flatbread was crispy, savory, and a treat for any truffle lover. What made these dishes even more special was the service behind them. José Rendón, one of the master chefs, took the courtesy of preparing my meal outside of regular brunch hours, as I needed to leave early during checkout, taking notes on mi sides and making sure the truffle was balanced. His team moved quickly and professionally to have everything ready to go, an act of hospitality that genuinely made a difference. The service at Sister was exceptional across the board, thanks to Andrés Bolílla, Anthony London, Cache, Leonardo, Darius, and the incredibly sweet barista Daniela Sandoval, the mixer behind my unforgettable coconut cream matcha, truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Once again, the service at Sister mirrors the service at the hotel: warm, attentive, fast, and always thoughtful. Every detail was covered. Hotel Colee is definitely a standout, stylish, fun, full of personality, and supported by a team that truly knows how to elevate your stay. Thanks again Montreal and team, you really superb any other stay at this city. Looking forward to coming back.
I was a little bit bummed leaving here today. Our stay started very nicely, the front desk staff was awesome and the room was pretty nice. It is walking distance from the mall, but don’t recommend staying here around Black Friday, the traffic was pretty rough (didn’t think of that beforehand). However, on our second night there was a fight that broke out in the hall right outside of our room at 5:30-6:00 am. It took security quite a while to get up there so it went on for much longer than it should have, so I would be a little cautious when it comes to safety. What was supposed to be a relaxing stay turned in to a very early, not relaxing morning at all. We checked out hours before checkout time because we didn’t want to wait around to see if something happened again. Overall, I still give most of my stay a high rating and I understand it isn’t the staff’s fault that people couldn’t behave. I just wish that the response had been a little better, especially considering it cut the end of our stay short. It could have just been a bad weekend to come.
