Well, 2nd stay at the Lake Oconee and I have to say it is been remarkable both visits. We dined at the Oconee Cove after having a lovely spread of yumminess in the room prior. Gede did not disappoint on his laughter, his respectfulness, and his taste to making the perfect cocktail for my wife and I for her birthday. The Blinis and caviar we're amazing, however I recommend removing most of the creme fraiche on the bottom. I would rather just have the caviar. The Champaign poached shrimp cocktail was delicious. The room service was just like you had dined in a restaurant and we did a lot of that this time. In October we stayed and dined at Linger Longer and had a wonderful meal. I still want to try the tri-way crab cakes they seem delicious an infectious. My wife actually left her airpods in the room. They found them and they are mailing them to our address. We had a wonderful experience both times in the spa without any issues and loving the mimosas. We could want for nothing. I highly recommend if you need a Trip Away... I highly recommend Liz for your massage she was amazing!

This was my #2 overall hotels that I've stayed in. #1 being Ritz-Carlton BalHarbour Miami. The people the service the kindness the accommodation. They went out there way to make sure I did not want for anything. And when the birds pooped all over my car they gave us bonvoy points to rectify the issue (valet parked). To be clear NO ill feelings!!!!. Outstanding place to be at. AND FREE fishing!!!!!!! Can't beat that with a whipping pole.

I’ve stayed at the Ritz at Lake Oconee a few times. I must say the experience was amazing. My room was nice. I had an amazing dinner on property. Love the toiletries that’s provided to you. I find that it’s really good quality. The levels at the Ritz is a little off because the lobby is on the 3rd floor but if you want a luxury getaway this is the place for you. there is so much to do that doesn’t cost you anything extra. Honestly… who doesn’t love a Ritz? You always know what you’re getting: next-level service, incredible facilities, and a truly world-class experience. But I’ll be honest, the Ritz-Carlton Lake Oconee hits different. The staff is amazing, the property is absolutely beautiful, and the entire experience is on another level. It’s perfect for a weekend with your wife or a full family getaway. Great in the winter, great in the summer, just a really special place.

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee felt like a real reset from everyday life. The place has this peaceful atmosphere that hits you the moment you arrive, everything from the lake views to the way the staff greets you makes you slow down a little. My room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and it actually felt like they paid attention to small details that most places overlook. Walking the property early in the morning was one of my favorite parts; it’s just quiet, calm, and beautiful. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about when I could come back.

A very pleasant hotel with excellent service throughout my visit. The room was modern, well-equipped, and spotless. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of options. The staff made everything feel easy and stress-free. A great place to stay whether you're traveling for work or leisure.

Pretty spectacular setting. The grounds, building, and area are amazing. Service was excellent as soon as we pulled up in front and interacted with valet staff. Very comfortable except for the pillows. But we are picky when it comes to pillows. Lots of amenities, loads of activities to do.

A perfect stay. The staff and service are incredible! Have stayed at many luxury hotels and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff really stands out here. They treated our toddler with such kindness and there were endless activities to keep us busy even in mid November. All the food was 10/10! The infinity pool is heated and it is a beautiful view especially with the leaves changing colors. The kids club is open to go in and play when they aren’t holding a camp which is fun and different from a lot of other hotels with kids clubs. Will be back!

This was not my first stay at The Ritz-Carlton at Reynolds on Lake Oconee. Each return visit deepens my appreciation for what this lakeside sanctuary continues to perfect: the seamless union of natural beauty, meticulous hospitality, and emotional restoration. From the moment I arrived, the setting worked its magic. The air smelled of pine and water, and the lake shimmered under a soft Georgia sun. One of my favorite parts of every visit remains the outdoors: long bike rides that wind through whispering trails, slow walks under canopies of trees, and that calming sense that time finally releases its grip once you step onto the property. Our room overlooked a lush pocket of forest and partial lake view. It was immaculate, tranquil, and intuitively arranged for relaxation. The linens felt fresh and cool; the lighting warm and understated and the balcony invited morning coffee with perfect solitude. The Club Lounge continues to be the resort’s masterpiece. Its lakeside design feels like nature brought indoors with the soft-toned wood and glass that mirrors the trees. Tynesha in the Club runs a great Club and leads her team with grace. Her awareness of each guest’s mood and preferences sets the tone for the whole team. Laura’s breakfasts are pure ritual, as she remembers preferences before you even speak them. Ashley anticipates your next move before you make it, saving your favorite seat or drink or food. Olga, Mia, and Jewell perfect the art of invisible service: glasses refilled without interruption, plates cleared with a whisper. Every encounter felt personal, never rehearsed. They all have wonderful personalities and service. No trip here feels complete without the spa, and this visit raised my admiration even higher. The moment you enter, calm takes physical form through the soft lighting, subtle scent, and the sound of water running somewhere nearby. Sandra’s massage approach is intuitive. She knows the body and reads tension like a language, using firm, deliberate strokes followed by lighter, rhythmic movements that feel both scientific and spiritual. I left certain I’d stay high off that experience for weeks. The rest of the spa team… Jess, Janice, Donna, Ashanti, and Jada operate with quiet synchronicity. Jess handled my honey body wrap with care and detail, checking pressure and warmth with precision. Janice, Donna, Ashanti, and Jada’s attentiveness between treatments ensured every transition stayed peaceful. They continuously greeted me with infused water and an unspoken understanding that silence was still the best gift. Together, they created a wellness experience that felt designed just for me. I also attended Renee’s yoga and stretch classes which I’ll make a non-negotiable for every future stay. Renee blends physical challenge with true mindfulness, her calm voice guiding every posture until the entire room feels aligned with the stillness outside. The flow of her classes left me restored in a different way than the spa: strong, present, and alive. Each time I leave this property, I carry the same feeling: gratitude mixed with disbelief that such a place exists within driving distance of everyday life. The Club Lounge nourishes connection, the spa rewires your nervous system, and the grounds invite you to rediscover nature. Tynesha, Laura, Ashley, Olga, Mia, Jewell, Janice, Donna, Jess, Ashanti, Jada, Sandra, and Renee—each of you defines excellence in your own lane, yet together you represent the living heartbeat of the Ritz-Carlton because you make luxury human.

Great service, clean rooms, awesome location! This was an awesome stay and my family really enjoyed it. The highlight was probably the nighttime s'mores, family pool, and access to the golf range to hit some balls. Next time I would love to play a round but with kids and this being a family trip, I was not able to get beyond the driving range on this trip. The golf range is a short walking distance from the hotel so it was convenient. The s'mores was a lot of fun but some of the other kids were being a little dangerous....lighting up the sticks with fire and running around with fire, etc. I suppose the adults should have supervised their children a little better but there was one dad who kept telling his pyro daughter to stop and let's go back and the little girl kept saying "wow, I never knew I liked fire this much...why go back when it's so nice out here?" And she'd continue running around after setting her stick on fire. I'm glad nobody got hurt though with the few kids running around and playing with fire. As a Marriott Platinum member, I wasn't sure if this included anything. I didn't think so but my status wasn't acknowledged nor any information provided. I just assumed that I get nothing (no breakfast benefit, etc.) and left it at that. Overall it was a nice stay and I hope to stay longer next time and also get a few rounds of golf in!
