The Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel offers convenient access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, particularly appealing to aviation enthusiasts due to its runway views. While praised for service and comfortable rooms, particularly those with balconies, recurring concerns include noise levels, dated facilities, and occasional issues with cleanliness and amenities. The property's location and shuttle service are definite advantages for travelers.
A Perfect Stay for Aviation Enthusiasts and Travelers We stayed overnight at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel before continuing our journey, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our runway-view room with a private balcony. Watching aircraft take off and land at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from the comfort of our room was a unique experience and one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. For aviation enthusiasts, photographers, or anyone who enjoys watching airport operations, this hotel offers views that are difficult to find elsewhere. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The balcony provided an unobstructed view of the runway, allowing us to enjoy aircraft movements throughout the day and evening. Despite the airport location, the room remained comfortable and relaxing. The hotel's location is extremely convenient for travelers using Atlanta Airport. Whether arriving late or catching an early morning flight, the proximity to the airport makes the journey stress-free and efficient. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Ms. Cornethia at the front desk. She was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our arrival. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to assist made us feel genuinely valued as guests and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The public areas were modern, well maintained, and offered several excellent spots to sit and enjoy the impressive airport views. Even if you're not an aviation enthusiast, the atmosphere and unique setting make the hotel an experience in itself. Overall, the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel offers much more than a convenient airport stay. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, outstanding runway views, and unbeatable airport access makes it one of the most memorable airport hotels we have visited. Highly recommended, especially if you can secure a runway-view room with a balcony. We would gladly stay here again on future visits to Atlanta.
Great service at this hotel! I know it is next to the airport but you would think if they build next to an airport they would put better windows on the hotel. It sounds like the planes are in your room! While excellent service I will probably not recommend for anyone trying to get a good nights sleep.
Great place to stay, especially for watching airplanes take off and land. It is amazing to sit on your balcony and watch all of the airplane traffic coming and going at Atlanta airport. It's the world's busiest airport and the amount of airplane traffic is unbelievable. The rooms are nice. The food was 50-50. My hamburger in the bar was terrible. It was burnt to a char and I ordered medium rare. Totally unedible. However, my eggs Benedict at breakfast were great. Also, I recommend ordering from the menu at breakfast instead of the breakfast buffet. $$$
The entire hotel smells like wet carpet. The room was meh. All of the usable outlets were on the wall opposite of the bed. The lamp kept flickering like we were in a horror film and the toilet ran after flushing. Then the shuttle door wouldn't open all the way and the male driver who was driving at 0630 didn't assist anyone but had his palms out expecting a tip. NOT IMPRESSED! Overall this was probably the worst Renaissance hotel I've stayed at. Not in the sense that it's horrible, it's just on par with others I've stayed at which were exceptional. This one is the least.
I had a very convenient stay at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel after being relocated due to a canceled flight. Although the hotel is currently under renovation, there was little to no visible disruption—everything still felt intact and well-maintained. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and both the bar and dining areas were very nice. Customer service truly stood out. The front desk team was friendly, hospitable, and efficient. I was checked in quickly with no wait at all, which was especially appreciated after travel delays. The room was very spacious, clean, and updated. I stayed on the 10th floor, which I assume features renovated rooms. The bathroom was also large, clean, and well-designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept very well. The location near the airport is a major plus, and the shuttle service runs every 30 minutes starting at 4:00 a.m. making it very convenient for early flights. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return if needed.
The good news is that this is close to the airport. The bad news is that the rooms are extremely noisy. Atlanta airport never closes, so you will be treated to airplanes landing at 11pm and airplanes spinning up at 2am. The rooms only have single panes of glass on them. It is extremely noisy. So only recommended if you don't want to sleep and want to watch planes all night. It is also somehow inconvenient to get to from the airport. You can't walk there. You have to take a bus, which takes 20 minutes to arrive.
Location is right by the airport. Super open when you walk in. The front desk attendant, named Cornethia, was amazing. It was the best check in experience I've had with a Marriott property. She explained everything and mentioned the maintenance and what was going to happen. The room was spacious. The balcony was the best part of the room. There are chairs and the view was amazing. Overall... I would book this room repeatedly and hope to see Cornethia each time for her customer service.
We did a small staycation celebration for our 9 year old. Since he love planes, this is a perfect hotel that over looks the runway of the Atlanta airport. It was a great surprise for him and he literally lived on the balcony with his camera spotting different planes. The staff was great and also just before we were about to sleep, the staff got a hot cake with ice cream specially for the birthday boy. He will never forget it so do we. One problem we had in our room was that the bathroom cannot be locked. That was odd for us. I have not encountered this in any other hotel. Also the toilet flushing was weak and every time we had to do a double flush. Overall it was a great stay
The hotel is mostly well-maintained and very nice offering a nice restaurant bar fitness center and very spacious as a platinum Marriott member having access to their executive lounge offers a quiet space and great food and service. However, this hotel falls very short when it comes to their rooms the rooms are clean, but very tired the cupboard door for the refrigerator was broken and heavily scratched in dented, but what marks this hotel down the most is even with late check out on file getting your door knocked on three or four times starting at 7 AM by housekeeping, asking if you were checking out is very unwelcoming will not be recommending this hotel for future stays.
?????????? Everything about my stay was AMAZING. From the moment I arrived, the front desk made me feel welcomed—shoutout to Annette, who was professional and kind, and Host Kiana, who brought great energy and hospitality. Now let’s talk about the bar… Kamol (Bday twin) BABYYYYY ?? he makes a GREAT whiskey sour—hands down one of the best I’ve had. The buffet-style breakfast bar was really good, with plenty of options, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were all on point. I had a great experience and I will definitely be back!
