The Radisson Hotel Atlanta Airport receives mixed reviews, with some praising its convenient location near the airport and comfortable rooms, especially for a brief overnight stay. However, recurring concerns include issues with inconsistent service, unreliable shuttle transportation, and occasional cleanliness problems, particularly with bed linens and room maintenance. Recent reviews highlight challenges with reservations and billing discrepancies.
Stayed at the hotel June 6th. Hotel is close by the airport. Didn't feel safe at this hotel. There is alot of criminal activity at the hotel area. My husband was twerked on in the elevator by random girls. Parking is not free. 18.00 per night. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason.
Room size was great & was clean but the bathroom light was broken and it was as bright as candle light so I had to do my makeup with my flashlight from my phone. Also if you're a light sleeper this isn't the place because the sound of the airplanes are very loud so I really didn't sleep. Saturday morning some lady who works there walked down the hall knocking on everyone's door asking if they were ok but at first I thought something was wrong like a fire. Sunday around 11am the elevator was broken so I had to take the stairs with my heavy luggage. No free breakfast or parking here.
This was my first time visiting the hotel. Very nice, elegant, spacious. At the restaurant the service was exquisite, excellent hospitality. Our server, Andi, was very considerate when answering any questions we had concerning the menu. Excellent hospitality. I will visit again & I will tell a friend about this hotel.
The room was clean, large, and inexpensive. The service was prompt, courteous, and efficient--while our wake-up call was a little early, we did in fact end up getting out of bed at exactly the time we asked for as a consequence, so I can hardly be mad about it. The shuttle seems to come every ten--fifteen minutes, and the staff actually grabbed an additional shuttle to accommodate us when the first shuttle filled up. The location was great for us: while I can't speak to how easy it is to get to the rest of Atlanta from there, it was great for getting to and from the airport.
I only stayed here because it was a last minute choice and the hotels I preferred were booked due to unforeseen circumstances with the airport. The availability is the reason for the rating.I called hours before multiple times about checking in early because I was exhausted. Over the phone each time I was told yes I could. So I arrived a bit after the time that was stated when I could check in which was 12. Upon approach the front desk the guy said it was not ready and he would get me when it was. He never came to got me and I approached the front desk multiple times before my room was ready after their standard check in time. He also was very weird about my card that was being used and insisted on “checking” them out.Ive been to numerous of hotels and have never had this done before. I also stayed in the front waiting for bags and he did not check the others card when checking in. Another lady repeatedly asked me every so often about checking in while walking away before you could get anything out. Customer service needs progress overall. When checking the room the mattress has multiple brownish/orange stains over it!The toilet needed to be wiped down, the trimming in the shower and soap holder need to be cleaned as well. I wish I took a picture of everything but I did not. If its the only thing available I can understand staying here but anything else? No.
An outstanding experience from start to finish. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive. The staff was professional, courteous, and attentive to every need. The facilities were immaculate, and the dining options were superb. This is easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.
So where do i began.. check in was good. I had my small service pet ( which they allowed w/papers).. no fee. The room was very outdated. Gym was basically 2 machines. The problem started at night when I went down to the bar/restaurant to order food. There was a man there that was completely incoherent. He followed me onto the elevator.. he then watched me walk to my room.. I did feel uncomfortable but wasn’t too worried because i was there with my boyfriend and there’s cameras all thru the hotel (so i thought). So i went Back down to pick my food up from the bar and the guy was still there drinking. Once he seen me he instantly got excited. I tried to just ignore him and get my food. I went back to my room and began eating my dinner. There was a knock at the door.. my boyfriend went to the door and nobody was there.. he looked down on the floor and there was a room key pushed under the door inside the key envelope!!! Yes a room key with room 431 on it.. mind you my room was located on the 2nd floor. Now atp it’s getting weird. My boyfriend goes down and demands to see the camera. By this time it’s night time and there’s a new front desk clerk. He tried to blow my boyfriend off by saying he’ll security to walk around and that the camera DOESNT work on OUR floor !! My boyfriend said oh then I’m calling the police and they’ll go up to room 431 together! That’s when things changed. Now the clerk is sending security up to room 431… and guess what.. it was the guy from the bar !!! We immediately checked out and asked for a refund.. of course we didn’t get it because “we booked thru a third party”.. long story short.. i do NOT recommended this hotel.. and definitely not if ur woman alone !!!!
This was my second stay at this hotel, and overall it didn’t quite meet my expectations. That said, you do get what you pay for. The location isn’t terrible. It’s outside of Atlanta but still close enough to the city, and there are plenty of major chain restaurants nearby. The surrounding area isn’t the nicest, but it may work if you’re looking to stay outside the busy downtown area. My partner and I are locals and just wanted a short getaway from home. One of the biggest disappointments was the extra costs. We had to pay for parking every night, pay for breakfast, and were charged $16 for two water bottles and a pack of Skittles—which felt excessive. During our stay, our toilet didn’t flush properly, and I had to request maintenance twice before the issue was resolved. The hotel does have some positives. The bar is a nice touch, and the food was actually pretty good. The inside of the hotel is attractive, especially the lounge area. However, there isn’t much to do on the property itself. Outside, there’s really just a bench behind the hotel, so nothing particularly enjoyable or entertaining outdoors. The gym was very disappointing. The equipment is outdated and could definitely use an upgrade. If fitness is important to you, this may be a letdown. Another downside was the amenities. I was glad I brought my own soap and lotion because the hotel only provides bar soap and travel-size shampoo and conditioner. The water also didn’t get very hot, which was frustrating. On a positive note, the room itself was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked extremely well, which made our stay more comfortable overall. If you decide to book this hotel, I strongly recommend bringing your own case of water bottles—you’ll save a lot of money. The only place in the hotel to get water without paying for it in the gym room. Lots of hotels usually have free water. You can just grab in the lobby. I think that would be a nice refreshment if the hotel can add that. While there are some nice aspects, I was ultimately disappointed and wouldn’t consider this a standout stay.
My recent stay at the Radisson Hotel was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for convenience and quality. The location near the airport is a huge advantage, making arrival and departure stress-free. Despite the proximity to the airport, the rooms are a peaceful retreat. I was extremely impressed with the spaciousness and immaculate cleanliness of the room. It provided a perfect sanctuary after a long day of travel, and the comfortable furnishings made it feel like a home away from home. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The entire hotel staff was nice, cooperative, and highly attentive, always greeting guests with a genuine smile. Furthermore, the room service was very nice and prompt, making in-room dining a delightful convenience. Speaking of dining, the food was consistently good, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful options. The Radisson Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. I will certainly be staying here again!
During my stay at the Radisson Hotel Atlanta Airport, I had a mostly positive experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were polite and welcoming. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the airport shuttle service it was on time and made transportation easy. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The hallway noise at night was a bit noticeable, and the air-conditioning unit in my room took a while to cool properly. Not deal-breakers, but worth mentioning. Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient, especially for someone needing to be close to the airport.
