Guests frequently praise the spacious, clean rooms and friendly, accommodating staff, particularly noting exceptional service from individuals like Sharon and Manny. However, the property receives significant criticism regarding inconsistent and often poor cleanliness, particularly in bathrooms, and a disorganized breakfast service. Several recent reviews highlight severe noise disturbances from parties and the overall lack of management responsiveness to complaints.

Our flight out of Atlanta was canceled and we unfortunately had to stay in this hotel and pay $200+. The room had clearly not been cleaned well. The toilet set had urine that had been there for a while and there was a handprint on the mirror. The toilet was really struggling in general. The front desk staff was apologetic, but I would never stay here again.

Sharon was very helpful on the first night when I needed help receiving an order and the second night when she helped me with printing. I really appreciated the hospitality:)

Close to the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Room is well-designed and comfortable. Staff was courteous, the room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was very good.

The hotel itself wasn't horribly bad, but the front desk service was bad and breakfast was a bit disappointing. The room was comfortable but the air conditioning in room 404 sounded like bearings were failing as there was lots of clanking and grinding whenever it would spin up to engage the compressor. I would have asked for another room but the front desk person was abhorrent bad at check in that I didn't want to risk not having a room on a reservation made a month earlier. Breakfast was below mid, barely kept stocked at 8.30am on a Saturday with the items of what they did put out. Bananas were bruised and beyond ripe...no breakfast meat, would put out 1 or 2 sandwiches at a time in 30 minute intervals...and not much of a bread selection. So the main issue I had was with the front desk. I checked in on app earlier but needed keys for my wife and daughter too. At arrival check in the desk was empty so I politely called hello to get "help". The lady took the usual of my id and credit card for verification but then sat keying in all the info from my id....I knew this when she got asking about my phone info. I reiterated that I just needed to check in and get room keys. She provided my keys and then stated my total to be about $40 higher and tried to reason that it was the state taxes, I asked for clarification and she said she didn't know how Georgia state taxes worked but it was different for different people. I pressed for more info as I was showing my reservation to be a total including taxes and fees. She gave an example that the rate was the same but there were tourism taxes and hospitality taxes and etc. And said if I was a member I'd have a discount or 'like if you had the explorer' rate. It's midnight so I ask for more about what is an explorer rate.....ohh you have to be an employee. So I asked for the GMs info as I let her know she what she was attempting to do of creating a new reservation and charging me at current rates was likely against their policy and grounds for law suit if shes been doing this enmasse to others and claiming its different taxes for different people. This just happened last night but the interaction ended with letting me know "I could go now". She did try to walk it back home stating the fee difference was for recharged incidentals...not a hold a charge per her. Not sure I'd recommend this location and I'll be communicating my experience as id certainly want to know how my guests are being treated.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms had plenty of space, were well cleaned and comfortable. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff were wondering.

Worst fairfield. Paid $179 a night and I got breakfast that I would not feed my dogs. For this price there should be a law that fake eggs, instant grits and oats should not be served. They should be real. There were no fresh fruits like berries, no cold water with fruits in them for summer and coffee was eternally cold. AC is so loud one cannot sleep. And pool is not clean. Why charge $179. The morning customer manager is rude as a rock. Definitely the owner does not believe in customer's. Got food poisoning and had to change the room because the door on the bathroom was broken.

The person on duty was overwhelmed by having a sold out hotel. There was a violent storm and a slingshot motorcycle club parked and blocked access to the entrance. Then the electricity went out. Someone got stuck on the elevator. I had to walk upstairs with our luggage. We didn't get electricity until almost 11 pm. I didn't get air conditioning until the following day. All the Marriott offered was 5000 points. Very disappointed.

Checking-in and out was a breeze and the front desk agents were friendly. Fairfield offers breakfast, but I did not get up early enough to try it. They also have a fitness room and an indoor pool. While there were other people in the pool, it was too cold for my partner to swim, so we didn't use it. The front desk also has a small convenience section. If you can, bring your own food/drinks as I found out a 20 ounce soda was 4 dollars when I went to purchase it. You can pay for these with a card or charge them to your room. The room was a king suite. It featured a walk-in shower, microwave, mini-fridge, 2 TVs, sofa (that I believe pulled out to another bed), two small tables, and a desk with an office chair to work at. The TV has satellite. I don't remember now if there was an option to rent movies. There was also a partition that separates the desk/TV area from the head of the bed, which is nice that someone could work while not disturbing someone in the bed. I realize now that I forgot to get a picture of the TV, and if I recall correctly a dresser, at the foot of the bed. I really can't think of anything to complain about the room. It was clean and felt like a lot of space for 2 people. It was nice having a sofa to sit at and tables to put our dinner on, instead of having to eat in bed. Housekeeping did check on us about 30 minutes before check-out to see if we needed turn down service, even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob, and our room should have been flagged as getting checked out that same day. Watch your GPS closely when you turn off the main road to get to the hotel, as there are two driveways close together. We had just returned from the Renaissance Festival, which I highly recommend attending during their season, and were both hot, tired, and hungry, so we missed the first turn. Both driveways get you to the hotel, but the second one has finicky automatic gates for a gated community, that still let you through to the hotel parking lot. It was only upon leaving the hotel that we realized we should have turned one driveway sooner. I'm sure we will be back again next year for Ren Fest, and I would have no issues with staying at the Fairfield Inn again.

Came here for a baby shower so I only saw the conference room, lobby and restrooms but everything was clean and the front desk staff were polite and spoke to everyone who came in, even I'd you'd already been greeted. Location is ideal if you're visiting from out of town to attend the Renaissance Festival (we saw lots of people in costume). If I needed a hotel in that area this one would be a top choice among all of the other options nearby.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn on Ella Lane in Atlanta before an early morning flight with our baby and toddler, hoping for a peaceful night. Instead, we were met with one of the most restless nights we've ever had in a hotel. After quiet hours had already begun, loud music—possibly a live band—started playing somewhere nearby. It was so loud I couldn’t fall asleep. I reached out to the front desk around 11 p.m., and they said they would take care of it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of the noise. Our baby continued waking up throughout the night because of loud music, including piano sounds, coming from above our room (Room 128). It felt like a concert was happening right above us while we desperately tried to rest before our travel day. To make matters worse, our stay started off with a long wait at check-in. I had to call the front desk just to get someone to come help us. I stayed kind through it all, but it was frustrating. Breakfast couldn’t quite keep up with the crowd, but the staff tried, and that was okay. However, the charger ports on the lamps in our room didn’t work well, which added to the inconvenience. I was shocked by how the stay just kept getting worse and worse, with no resolution or attempt to make things right. We chose this Fairfield because we trusted the Marriott name to offer a quiet, restful, and family-friendly experience. Instead, we were met with frustration, sleep deprivation, and disappointment. No follow-up. No resolution. No empathy. We expected better from a Marriott Fairfield. When families with young children book a stay, especially near the airport, the minimum expectation is peace and quiet during the late hours of the night. This stay failed to deliver that—miserably. I hope management takes this seriously. We left exhausted and disappointed, and we won’t be booking here again.
