The Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport - College Park offers convenient access to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and provides a comfortable stay, particularly appreciated by travelers due to its shuttle service and proximity to transportation. However, recent reviews highlight significant maintenance issues, inconsistent service, and concerning cleanliness concerns, suggesting the property needs improvement to meet IHG’s standards.
We stayed here to attend a world cup soccer game. They have an airport shuttle and we walked 5 minutes to the train that took us downtown. It was very easy to get around. The room was comfortable and the staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good too.
Hotel stay was due to cancelled flight out of Atlanta. Last night was a mess, but your employee, Mr. Monson Was able to calmly and efficiently take care of customers arriving in a thunderstorm after a long stressful day. He also made sure everyone was scheduled for their morning shuttle. This am,, Ms Chrystal brown Was very helpful and a bright light in an otherwise stressful unexpected travel delay. How lucky you are to have two wonderful employees to represent and promote your brand!!
The staff here genuinely stood out. The shuttle was prompt, the night time front desk representative was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was ready right on time. The room itself was clean, which is always appreciated. That said, there were some significant issues that can’t be overlooked. Our room had a large hole in the wall, and the shower door was barely attached — both signs of deferred maintenance that don’t match the hotel’s price point. Most concerning, however, was a broken interior handle on the shuttle van’s sliding door, meaning passengers could not open it from the inside. That’s a real safety hazard that management should address immediately. The staff made a genuinely good impression, but the property needs serious attention before it lives up to the Hotel Indigo brand.
Close proximity from the ATL airport. Service..well in the evening Ms. Kiwi ? was rude, curt, and disrespectful towards us after shutting the lights off when we were in the middle of eating dinner at the high table. She never greeted or welcomed us. We didn't even know she was working there as she remained seated in front of the bar area. We thought she was a customer until a guest walked up to her asking for a cup. She rudely shut the diner/restaurant area light because she was leaving and had to clock out. There was never any warning or communication towards us that we had to leave at a certain time. She did herself a favor and got the "manager" because she did not know how to properly speak to us. Finally, we explained that we would not tolerate the disrespect. Ms. Kiwi ? apologized in the end as we were walking away. I've also been there in the morning for breakfast and had a great experience with the ladies there. Very welcoming and even offered a to-do container as we were rushing to the airport.
We missed our connecting flight and got stranded for a day in Atlanta. Brad at the front desk was able to set us up with early check in which was so nice! Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Also being very close to the airport with shuttle service is a huge plus. Thank you Brad and staff for helping us out in a bind, your kindness was much appreciated.
We unfortunately experienced a canceled flight and stayed here. The staff was fabulous. Friendly, understanding and helpful. Can’t say enough about the great staff. Highly recommend!!
Another recommendation is the InterGlow Hotel. I stayed there for two weeks while attending training, and overall it was a solid experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly throughout my stay. The continental breakfast was okay and did the job. The workout area isn’t the greatest, but it was enough to get me through two weeks of training. The parking lot felt secure. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. My room didn’t have a desk, which made it a little tough since I had some work and training to do in the room, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean and tidy every day. Overall, I’d stay there again.
From airport transport to bed comfort, it was a pleasant stay overall. Desk clerk gave us menus to order dinner as kitchen closed at 9:30, but was not helpful when food arrived as delivery guy could not get inside. Lamp next to bed didn’t work, and lighting was either non-existent or too bright in main room.. Shower was nice. Coffee at 6am was thick chewy black. Facility is nice overall, but maintenance and service could be improved.
Great location, nice rooms although the laminate floors need replacing. Staff was incredibly helpful, hospitable and friendly. Only critique was that they charged $12 for an incredibly limited selection, low quality, low effort breakfast that should’ve been free given its quality.
This was my second time staying here. We just stayed one night to be close to the airport. Shuttle was easy to get and from airport. The only problem I had was when we picked up our car, we had to walk through the lobby to get to our car. The African American woman at the front desk was very rude. I needed to use the restroom before our long drive home and I was already at the car in the back. I had to walk around the hotel to go back to the front which was fine at first. I walked straight to the restroom and as soon as I got there inside the LOCKED stall, the front desk worker barged in and assaulted me with the bathroom door and hurt my elbow really bad. She was trying to not let a PAYING customer use the bathroom. She was yelling at me and just being so mean even after I explained I was a PAYING customer. She tried saying she was saying “ma’am” before I went in there, but I just didn’t hear her. I was focused on trying to get to the bathroom. That put a really bad taste in my mouth. Before the interaction with her, I most definitely would have stayed at that hotel again. But now, I’m not sure if I would stay here again. There’s plenty of other hotels with better customer service. I really hope this employee gets reprimanded or something for assaulting and hitting me with a door when I was already pulling my pants down in the LOCKED bathroom stall.
