The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport North offers convenient airport access and a generally pleasant stay, bolstered by friendly staff and a well-maintained shuttle service. However, recent reviews highlight recurring issues with inconsistent hot water, maintenance delays, and some cleanliness concerns, negatively impacting the overall guest experience.

I am disappointed with the way hilton is going. This shuttle only goes to the domestic side of the airport not the international and the two do not connect once you get your bags. We checked in the front desk was short with us and it was hot in there, especially when it was only in the 80s out. The room was fine and pool looked good we didn't use it. To use the wifi you have to join a program with them and the breakfast they have is now a 20 dollar charge. I don't like having to pay or join things, but what I really can't stand is that you don't know that until they've already got you.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. During check-in around 6PM or earlier on Saturday, the young black lady with braids and a hat was working near the lobby/front desk area was very rude and unhelpful. While my husband was checking us in, I needed to use the restroom. The young lady was cleaning the restroom by the desk , so I politely asked if I could use it. She told me no and said I would have to wait and use the restroom in my room because ma’am you see I’m cleaning it & guests aren’t allowed to use the downstairs restroom while it was being cleaned. I understand that cleaning needs to be done, but the way the situation was handled was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service. I ask her for her name and she said for what but continue to talk while re entering the bathroom ! Instead of being accommodating or offering an alternative solution, I felt dismissed and inconvenienced. On a positive note, Monday morning was a completely different experience. I met a black younger man named Michael , who had a Hilton shirt on sweeping by elevator but anyhow He saw my husband and I near the pool area and kindly assisted us with our luggage to the car since we’re a little old . He was polite, professional, and asked if there was anything else he could do to help. We thanked him for his kindness and for making our stay end on a better note. Michael demonstrated the type of customer service that guests expect and appreciate, you all need more of him . If I had a cleaning opportunity I would still him . Unfortunately, the poor experience during check-in overshadowed much of our stay oh and there’s more . I hope management recognizes employees like Michael while also addressing the professionalism and customer service issues with potential guess are arriving . Breakfast was cold and oatmeal tastes stale and waitress didn’t care much . Housekeeping supervisor Sunday morning acted as if we bother her while reaping the smell of being hungover and all we needed was 2 wash rags , lastly whatever that bartender Memphis is doing at the bar she a winner . Be careful I may come back to steal Memphis and Michael

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport North ,and unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. My family and I traveled to Atlanta for my son’s gymnastics competition, which he qualified for, so this trip was supposed to be a very special and happy occasion for us. Sadly, our experience at this hotel completely took away from that and added unnecessary stress and frustration. From the moment we checked in, the service was disappointing. I asked the front desk for a toothbrush on our first night and was told they were out, with no effort to offer any kind of solution. I ended up having to walk to the neighboring Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North just to get basic toiletries, which is unacceptable for a hotel stay. The condition of the room was even worse. The bathroom had a strong odor that smelled like mold or a water leak. It was missing basic essentials like toilet paper, facial tissues, and even shower gel. There wasn’t even a trash bin in the bathroom, and the hair dryer was broken and didn’t work. On top of that, the towels smelled like they had not been properly washed, which made them unusable. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of response from staff. I went to the front desk and requested housekeeping to clean the room, refresh the bathroom, and bring additional towels and toilet paper. No one ever came. When I returned later that day, I had to call again. Towels were eventually delivered, but still no toilet paper, and I had to follow up yet again just to receive such a basic necessity. Beyond the physical issues, the overall attitude of the staff was very disappointing. There was no sense of hospitality, no warmth, and no effort to make guests feel welcome. It genuinely felt like customer service was not a priority at this location. As a Hilton Honors Silver member who has stayed at many Hilton properties, I have never experienced anything like this. This stay did not reflect Hilton’s standards in any way. I truly feel like I paid for a service and experience that I did not receive. This stay was unacceptable, and it completely impacted what should have been a memorable trip for my family. I hope management takes this seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

I had an amazing guest experience at this hotel. Ihad stayed here years ago and had been less than impressed. The hotel has been renovated and more than met the high expecations I have for a Hilton Hotel. The rooms are very large and emaculate, the staff was very welcoming. I really appreciated that I could get a great dinner in the hotel restaurant without having to head out after a very long flight. My room was quiet...I couldnt hear anyone in the hall or other rooms. I will be back to this hotel.

I'm practically a permanent resident at this Hilton, whether I'm wrangling my daughters or here on business. The secret sauce? Definitely the staff. Check-in is smoother than a jazz solo, and somehow, I always snag my dream room. Now, I'm not usually one for reviews, but when exceptional service slaps you in the face like a Mississippi summer, you've gotta give credit where it's due. Enter Jay, the front desk wizard. This guy doesn't just check you in; he rolls out the Southern hospitality like I'm back in the good ol' MS. His vibe is so welcoming, it's like a warm hug, and he had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. Seriously, great employees are rarer than a decent parking spot downtown, and Hilton, you better chain this one to the desk! So, Jay, thanks for turning my day from 'blah' to 'marvelous.' I'm already plotting my next escape here, and who knows, maybe I'll see you rocking a different role next time. Keep shining & may your energy spread onto everyone around you! Xoxo, Amb.

I recently stayed at this property and had an excellent experience from start to finish. William and Jay at check in provided exceptional customer service. They were professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel valued and ensured the process was smooth and stress free. Their attention to detail and positive attitude set the tone for the entire stay. Lucy during breakfast was equally impressive. She was attentive, warm, and consistently made sure everything was perfect. Her hospitality stood out and truly elevated the dining experience. Overall, the team made me feel welcomed and important throughout my visit. It is clear that guest satisfaction is a priority here. I would gladly return and highly recommend this property to others.

Not a great experience. The website states cribs are available but upon arriving we asked the front desk and they said they no longer had cribs but would confirm with house keeping and get back to us. Never got back to us, we found some very kind housekeepers working on our floor and inquired ourselves about a baby crib, they in turn brought us a broken pack n play without a mattress pad which we were unable to use. Very disappointing. The carpets by the bed were not clean. There were unpleasant smells in various areas of the hotel. The free airport shuttle was helpful though the driver was rude. I did appreciate the pillow selection, I was able to find a pillow amongst the various sizes that suited me well. Overall would not recommend staying here but it got us through the night with a roof over our heads, for that we are greatful.

My recent stay at HGI ATL Airport North was profoundly disappointing from start to finish. We booked hoping for a comfortable stay, but instead encountered a series of failures that made it impossible to relax. The primary issue was our room. It was not just dated, but actively problematic. The most maddening issue was a persistent, loud leak from a pipe inside the wall. The constant dripping sound made the room uninhabitable. We reported it immediately, but were simply told maintenance was "aware" and nothing could be done that night. We were left to listen to it all evening. Desperate to escape the noise, we went to the hotel's on-site restaurant for dinner. This led to the most unbelievable moment. As soon as we walked up and we were greeted, the lady explicitly advised us that for food safety reasons, we should "go somewhere else like Spondivits or Malone’s" instead of eating there because the cook refrigerators don’t work. Let that sink in: The hotel's own restaurant was directing guests away due to their own equipment failures Between a room with a leaking wall and a restaurant that cannot safely store food, this property is clearly failing at the most basic fundamentals of hospitality and maintenance. We cut our losses and left. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and your sanity.

Very convenient location but that's about all. The staff are absolutely terrible and act bothered and very ignorant that you are talking to them for even the simplest requests (except for the two dudes at the front that inspire joy!). The room was pretty standard, AC worked okay but the lighting was buns. Dim yellow light in the bathroom where you want a bright light, and a bright sterile white light in the living room that kinda hurts the eyes. Breakfast is definitely an afterthought and you can tell the original intention is to funnel you into the expensive lobby restaurant. Breakfast is served in saran wrap on a temporary table that is wheeled out. Coffee was completely out. No regular ole toaster, just a fancy conveyor belt that you have to run anything through 4 times to get it to how you like it. And that's without tongs btw so have fun playing hot potato with your English muffin, and that's if half of it doesn't drop on the ground one of the 4 times it comes sliding out. Nonsensical setup. Eggs were watery and I don't even know how you make soggy breakfast potatoes. Overall, would NOT recommend staying here. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are also very convenient location-wise and I'm disappointed that this one has the Hilton name. Do better.

When me and my spouse arrived at the hotel, A guest was already complaining in another room all to get checked into our room and our bathroom smell like urine really bad. It was pee all over the toilet and I had to get the maids to come clean the room although I really wish I would’ve switched rooms because the pee smell never left, we was on a short stay and didn’t have time to switch rooms. it ruined my husband experience for his birthday. I was in the middle of decorating for him, but we couldn’t sleep due to the unpleasant smell on top of the maid coming into our room at 10:30 in the morning when checkout wasn’t until 12 PM ,She knocked one time and then she just bombarded it in the room and didn’t give us a second to say anything. The experience was very unpleasant. For booking to have this rating as an eight point star is highly upsetting and unsatisfying. I will never suggest this hotel for anyone. The reviews are not truthful. Maybe someone else had a good experience, but we had a really bad one never believe booking would have this rating as a eight point star is highly upsetting and unsatisfying. I will never suggest this hotel for anyone. The reviews are not truthful. Maybe someone else had a good experience, but we had a really bad one never been in a hotel where the whole entire room smell like pee.
