Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel EVER. All was fine until around 10:30 when my mom and I both started getting dizzy and having racing hearts. Someone in another room was smoking weed and it came through the vents of our room (it didn’t have the normal scent so we were both scared it was something worse for a minute. We packed up, went downstairs, and asked to change rooms. Everything was fine after that and we went to sleep no problem until we both woke up from a dead sleep to this time the traditional dead animal stench of weed and crazy symptoms like racing heart, heavy limbs, etc. AGAIN. They did offer to move us a second time but the fact it happened TWICE is insane and it could happen a third time and we were both too tired to pack up again because we were there for an Emory appointment first thing in the morning. I opened the balcony to try getting fresh air in and saw a third person on a balcony in the courtyard (too far to be what we were smelling) ALSO lighting up and watching what sounded like South Park… so much for a smoke-free property. A hotel is supposed to be a clean comfortable space to rest away from home. As a Marriot affiliated property I hold high expectations for the usual experience I have when I use a Bonvoy hotel: a safe, relaxing, allergen-free hotel. This is not that experience. The manager is amazing and very kind. She did make it right, but I feel compelled to tell other incoming patients…

This property fails to meet Marriott’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and inclusivity. Management should urgently review staff conduct, customer service training, and overall guest experience. Based on our stay, I do not recommend this hotel, particularly for families or anyone expecting fair and respectful treatment.

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center from January 17–19 (MLK weekend), and the experience was far below Marriott standards. From check-in onward, the front desk staff was rude, inattentive, and unwelcoming. We were traveling with our 8-month-old baby and multiple bags, and when we requested a luggage cart, the response was dismissive and unprofessional—unacceptable for a hotel of this size and brand. More concerning was the consistent lack of respect in our interactions, which made us feel uncomfortable and gave the strong impression of racial profiling. This is not an accusation made lightly, but the behavior and tone we encountered were deeply troubling and inappropriate. Additionally, the main entrance was closed during business hours, and when I attempted to enter, a staff member responded rudely and dismissively. This interaction alone reflects a serious breakdown in customer service and staff training. Due to the ongoing poor treatment and uncomfortable environment, we checked out early. We did not feel welcome, respected, or valued as guests. To add to the frustration, the hotel charges $10 per day for parking while clearly stating that it assumes no responsibility for vehicles or property (see photo). Charging a fee while accepting no liability is unreasonable and misleading. This property fails to meet Marriott’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and inclusivity. Management should urgently review staff conduct, customer service training, and overall guest experience. Based on our stay, I do not recommend this hotel, particularly for families or anyone expecting fair and respectful treatment.

Conveniently located in Dunwoody. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around the area. The rooms are sufficient. Nice gym, outdoor pool, sizable bar/tables/dining area in the lobby, and even a guest laundry which was a nice surprise. The elevator near my room was out of order. I used the stairs, but the closest working elevator was far away. Good value. Everything you need is nearby.

Room was clean and quiet. Staff was excellent - I made an error on my reservation, but Richmond was able to fix it quickly and easily. He was quick, friendly, and professional; would come back again just for the service.

We live close to this and they have an awesome roof top bar and the vibe is good our waiter Eamon was excellent he recommended everything on the menu chill vibe will definitely come back

This was definitely the most welcome I have ever felt at a hotel. The team went out of their way to make us feel special. From personal hand written notes to goodie bags placed in our rooms this team was on top of it.

Kevin and Chelsea at the Bistro are the reason why I’m sticking with staying in the hospitality industry!! I’m not a guest but I stopped by to get a caramel macchiato this morning and they restored my faith in this country and in the hospitality/service community. We don’t get paid what we’re worth, but we have a family we all count on! If you take care of your employees, they take care of the customers! We are a small but big community right here in Atlanta!

All I wanted was a room for the night after being in a domestic situation and being denied by the hotel in front. I walked in and the older lady with a short grey hair cut gave me the absolute stankiest look I’ve ever been given. I asked for a room with a smile on my despite the surliness on her face. Without even looking to see if there were any rooms available she growled that there were no rooms i could have. Feeling defeated from my personal situation and her inhospitable nature, I left immediately without another word. I felt discriminated against and felt like I wasn’t good enough to book with them because that’s the impression she gave off.
