The Bellyard consistently receives positive feedback, largely driven by exceptional service, particularly from bartenders like Windy, who are praised for their attentiveness and expertise. Guests appreciate the hotel’s stylish design, central location, and diverse dining options. However, some recurring issues relate to inconsistent housekeeping service and occasional communication breakdowns.

Windy my bartender at Bellyard is the best. So humble, warming, and she seriously makes the best espresso martini. She went out her way to use the actual espresso machine to make me a martini (SERIOUSLY, the best I ever had). Hands down the best experience I’ve had at the bar thus far and I’ve been a few times. AMAZING ??? Ask for Windy!

Windy at the bar delivers true five-star service. From the moment I sat down, she was professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Her hospitality alone elevated the entire experience. And the espresso martini? Easily the best I’ve ever had perfectly balanced, smooth, and clearly made by someone who takes pride in their craft. Windy is the kind of bartender who keeps guests coming back and represents the brand exceptionally well. Bellyard is lucky to have her management should absolutely recognize her impact.

We booked the suite and had a hotel block for our wedding. The rooms and suites were nice and clean. The location is great, but the stay itself was quite frustrating. Onto the issues: - We needed bowls and utensils and we were told that we’d be charged to use the items. - At another point, we ordered room service, but needed to go downstairs to get it. - We had to call two times for a bell cart and when they brought it up, they asked if we were going to use it because it was their last bell cart. - At 4:00 AM, the TV abruptly turned on screaming about the Bellyard hotel stay. For the lack of hospitality, it was a well overpriced stay that was not worth it.

Stayed here recently for an overnight stay. Very beautiful hotel, views are amazing, restaurant/bar was great. Good food and drinks. Rooms were very clean and loved the decor. Close to nice restaurants and bars. Will be staying here next year for our event definitely!

Room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. We also got an upgraded room due to my Marriott member status which was nice. That said, we returned both evenings to find housekeeping never showed up which did not feel like 4-star hotel service to me. There was a QR code in the room to tip housekeeping which we found amusing as they never came! If we were supposed to explicitly request a visit that was never communicated to us. Additionally, the blind in our room (702) got increasingly stuck and hard to open/close each day and needs to be serviced or replaced. It was pretty unpleasant fighting it first thing in the morning each day. I acknowledge we could have asked to address these issues during our stay but as we were out all day each day and just wanted to go to sleep on our return we didn’t get around to it. Area is nice and convenient the hotel has many connected restaurants etc. Overall, fine experience and I would probably stay again - I have to return to this area of Atlanta sometime next year - but I wasn’t wowed, especially given the price point.

Had a very terrible experience here about a year and half ago. Another guest, staying in the room across from mine flooded the entire floor of rooms, with water coming underneath door and damaging several items. The hotel comped one night of the stay, and was supposed to follow up with information for insurance. Communication stopped entirely. I reached out to corporate where they shared there’s nothing they can do for another guest creating this catastrophe that not only flooded our floor but the floors beneath us and causing severe flood damage to the lobby. So much so that for the remaining 3 days of my trip, the lobby was covered in blowers, construction workers, plastic, and a small sliver of a walkway to get through (just to illustrate the severity). I was told by corporate to use my own insurance to replace over $5000 worth of damaged work equipment and also personal equipment. When my own insurance stated they needed a police report and a copy of the insurance claim filed by the property, I asked for this and corporate said they weren’t legally allowed to release any further information. Heartbreaking, I had to replace not only my personal equipment out of pocket, but also thousands of dollars worth of work equipment because this property and marriot refused to provide further necessary documentation and assistance. This was also awful because I selected this hotel not only for myself but for 7 members of my team as well were attending a conference nearby. Instead of staying at the Hilton where we had a conference discount, I chose Marriott for not only brand loyalty but quality and exceptional service. Unfortunately the last two items were quickly relished.

My fiancé and I were in the process of securing a wedding room block at the Bellyard, and unfortunately, the experience was unprofessional enough that we have decided to void our contract and move forward with a different hotel. After the hotel sent over a document for us to sign, I was later told by the manager, Tara Warshaw, that I had “viewed” it and was spoken to as if I was being dishonest—even though I never opened or reviewed the file. Not only was this claim incorrect, but it added no value to the conversation or the solution we were trying to reach. Instead of listening or approaching the matter collaboratively, Tara became defensive and dismissive. At no point did she take accountability or acknowledge that a system timestamp does not prove a document was read, reviewed, or understood, nor did she attempt to move the conversation toward resolution. For a hotel that markets itself as a polished, service-focused property, I was disappointed by the tone, assumptions, and lack of professionalism displayed in this interaction. Wedding planning requires trust, responsiveness, and clear communication—especially when couples are committing to bringing a large group of guests and revenue to a property. Instead of support and partnership, we were met with an accusatory and unproductive approach that ultimately ruined our confidence in the hotel’s ability to manage our event. This experience has made me take my business elsewhere, and I hope the Bellyard reevaluates how its management team communicates with wedding parties and large group bookings. Respect, professionalism, and solution-oriented communication should be the baseline standard, not the exception. *Update/Reply* Thank you for responding, Brendan. I appreciate the acknowledgment, but this was never about a “miscommunication” but it was about the unprofessional and dismissive way the situation was handled. I made several documented attempts to address this directly, which went unanswered until I shared my experience publicly. That speaks volumes. It’s disappointing, and it makes me question how my guests might have been treated had we moved forward. I genuinely hope your internal review results in accountability rather than another polished response, because couples deserve honesty, transparency, and respect from the very start.

A beautiful hotel with tons of places to eat and see nearby. We stayed here and attended a Braves game and Falcons game- while not walking distance it was easy to navigate. Hotel has an amazing restaurant and the service is fantastic. The porn star martini can’t be beat! Comfortable beds and all the amenities! You won’t regret staying here! We had a skyline view!

I came into town for a one-night business trip and while the hotel itself was beautiful—modern, clean, and well-appointed—the front desk experience left a lot to be desired. When I asked the front desk if they had toothpaste, one staff member told me “no” and casually directed me (a young woman traveling alone) to walk to a gas station. No alternative, no offer to help. I was shocked. As I turned to head back to my room, another employee (who was standing there the whole time) stopped me and said, “Oh, he thought you weren’t a guest. What’s your room number? I’ll grab some for you.” The damage was already done, and it was incredibly disappointing to be treated that way based on an assumption. On top of that, I ordered breakfast to-go and when I asked where to pick it up, the front desk sent me to the wrong location. I ended up sitting near the lobby waiting for nothing until I figured out it was actually at the bar. Just poor communication all around. The hotel is nice, but staff training and basic customer service need serious improvement. Attitude matters—and for a hotel at this price point, guests deserve to feel both safe and respected. Update: changed it to a 1 star because I had to chase multiple departments just to resolve a basic billing issue. It’s incredibly frustrating and not reflective of the service I expect from a brand like Marriott.

I will never stay anywhere else! I can’t say enough great things about my stay at the Bellyard! From the moment I arrived, every detail felt intentional and elevated. The design is modern yet cozy, and the atmosphere just gives you that “this is going to be a great trip” feeling. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a dream (rare for me in hotels!). The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the action but still peaceful when you’re ready to wind down. I loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants and attractions, but honestly, the hotel itself is a destination. From start to finish, it was the perfect stay. I left feeling rested, spoiled, and already planning my next visit. Bellyard, you’ve set the bar high—I’ll definitely be back!
