The Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South is currently undergoing significant renovations, leading to a mixed guest experience. While some guests appreciated the helpful staff and cleanliness of the rooms upon completion, many reported issues related to construction noise, delays, and outdated facilities, alongside problems with customer service and unexpected fees.
Let me make a SHOUT OUT to BRITTNEY for her great Customer Service. Now let me get into this 100 incidental fee ??.a JOKE ...First a.guy uses his key to come in my room until he realizes he has the wrong door .. Secondly plugs dont work on either side of the bed . Light out on the left side of bed . TV wasn't working a lady had to come fix it Refrigerator running water on the floor . So what do I charge you for my inconvenience ?? .. Talking sorry about the dust due to renovations. Well start lowering that incidental fee most definitely ridiculous. Now you changing to FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON I hope you all step up to the name .
Bartender West and chef Thomas were the best company . Food was amazing drinks was amazing wish was staying longer. Rooms was clean . Though still renovating staff was amazing and hospitable .
I stayed for two nights and this is a very good choice if you want to be close to the airport. It is almost done being renovated and I love a room that smells brand new! I was right next to the elevator but I never heard any noise from it! They have coffee 24 hours a day and a complimentary shuttle to the airport every half hour. They say that the first impression of a place is the front desk person, and Funeka was the best impression of the hotel! She was very kind, helpful and professional in every way. Raymond the night manager, was also very helpful. And a special shout out to Crumpton for the jumpstart on my car!! :) Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll definitely be coming back to Sky Point Hotel and Suites.
The customer service is absolutely terrible when asking for the shuttle to the hotel I was quickly rushed off the phone when calling back after 30 minutes had passed was hung up on. Upon arrival to the hotel and the name on the outside is not the same name which made it even more confusing, and the lady working the front desk was very rude and rushing everyone off. If you are picking a hotel because your flight got canceled and you have to stay a night in atl do not pick this one.
I booked this room for a romantic date with my wife after having a nice dinner out, they were a higher price than advertised by over $35 then had the nerve to add on an additional $100 deposit while undergoing renovations! Trash and old equipment all in the front, side, and back yards, no breakfast, no a/c in the halls, smelled strongly of paint and chemicals, exposed wiring, etc. not a place for kids of any age. Then when we got to our room the folks in the room next to us were either shooting a porno or engaged in an orgy with at least 3 women and kept it going until 3 in the morning! The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping were very hospitable and friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean but ultimately I don’t think I will be back until after the renovations are complete and hopefully next time things are way better.
I’ve always enjoyed coming to this hotel, but today was quite disappointing. My husband checked in and was met with what felt like anger and hostility from the receptionist. Her demeanor was unwelcoming from the start, and when he asked her a simple question, I could feel her irritation, so much so that I had to ask him what was going on while I was on the phone with him. As he tried to figure out where to park, her attitude only seemed to worsen. There is a parking fee, but the actual parking spaces were scarce. The security guard directed him to a different area of the lot, where a large sign clearly stated “Warning! No Hotel Parking.” Additionally, the receptionist’s appearance was very unprofessional, with her hair looking messy and unkempt. The overall energy at the hotel just didn’t feel right today, and it definitely left us with a negative impression.
This place is currently under construction. Lobby floor was dirty. Furniture in hallways. Lots of construction noise. Took one look around and decided not to stay. Don't let Delta book you in this place for a overnight stay when your flight is delayed.
When I walked up to the front desk the lady’s just seam like they don’t care and have a very bad attitude. Can’t even ask a simple question without them giving me some sass or talking to me like I’m an idiot. Both of the front desk lady’s that I saw there were more worried about having their takeout food delivered on time instead of actually caring for the guests. In the morning we were waiting for the Airport shuttle, it was 12mins late and I asked the lady at the desk if we were the last stop on the route. She had no idea at all..
If I could give them 0 stars I would… This place should be closed until further notice! I entered room 310 only to find a 22 LR bullet on my bed. I requested a different trashy looking room (which you will see if you dare)
I stayed at this hotel because it was one of the options provided by Delta, and the photos looked very nice. However, the shuttle service is unreliable. The shuttle only runs until midnight, and in the morning, it does not arrive on time. I waited for 20 minutes and had to order an Uber. When I asked the receptionist about the delay, her response was, ‘I manage the computer, I don’t drive the shuttle .’ She was unhelpful and had a poor attitude. The shuttle is supposed to come every 30 minutes, but this is not the case. Five other people were also waiting for the shuttle, and one of them had to take an Uber too. If Delta gives you the option to choose a different hotel, do yourself a favor and pick another one. Save yourself the trouble.
