The best stay by far — and we visited 6 other states on this trip! Michael made our visit extra special — he deserves a raise! Lol. He was absolutely amazing. The place is immaculate, the views are breathtaking, and the breakfast was hands down the best I’ve had in North America. We had such a great experience and would absolutely stay here again!

What a great quick birthday getaway. room was great, staff very friendly, all food was good and the pool was so fun. Very kid friendly, got our early check in. Loved the DJ at the pool and lunch and cocktails pool side were perfect. Views of the lakes were so beautiful and the fire pits at night ended a great day. Next time we just need to stay longer

The Gym: If you’re looking to break a sweat, skip it. The fitness center feels less like a workout facility and more like a fitness museum—complete with dirty, minimal, and barely functioning equipment. To top it off, the floor is carpeted, which is an absolute nightmare for a modern resort gym. ?Room Service: A major disappointment for the price point. I ordered dinner to my room on night one: the Georgia Burger and wings. The burger was overcooked and incredibly boring, and charging $20 for a grand total of six very average wings felt like a joke. The fries were the only saving grace of the meal, but by that point, the bar was on the floor. ?The Rooms: I’d rate the bed a flat 5/10. While the rustic decor isn’t my personal style, it at least fits the lakeside vibe. However, the room is seriously showing its age. It’s far from the worst place I've ever stayed, but you expect much higher quality from a resort of this caliber. ?The Silver Lining: I didn't get a chance to play a round, but the golf course looks absolutely beautiful and well-maintained.

We had a great time as a family and the property itself is beautiful, but the accommodations didn’t live up to the price paid. Our first Lake House had trash outside at check-in, a dirty sleeper sofa mattress that I wouldn’t let my worst enemy sleep on, bugs inside, stained furniture, and maintenance issues. The resort moved us to another Lake House, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the second house still had missing floor tiles, a fireplace that didn’t work, and the kitchen was missing basic cookware. The pool also had a significant amount of debris and was just dirty. Our rented golf cart wasn’t charged, and the extension cord provided at lakehouse wouldn’t charge it. We enjoyed our time, the golf course and clubhouse is impressive. But, we spent far too much of our vacation dealing with issues that shouldn’t exist at this price point. The Lake Houses need much better housekeeping, maintenance, and quality control. Might be better off booking Airbnb.

We stayed one night for a quick girls getaway, and it was absolutely perfect! The resort is beautiful, the pool was relaxing, and the drinks were fantastic. Dinner at Sydney’s was the highlight of the trip. The filet was cooked perfectly, and the wedge salad was so good that they unexpectedly split it for us, which was such a nice touch. Every bite was delicious, and the service made the evening even better. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful hospitality, I highly recommend Lanier Islands Resort. We can’t wait to come back! ?

It’s been about 25 years since I’ve been to Lanier Island resort and wow it was beautiful. The service was friendly. The accommodations were fantastic. Look forward to coming back in the near future. Was there for a Rotary conference and so glad that they chose Lake Lanier

A beautiful resort, fireplaces, swimming, hot tubs, boating, it’s really an outdoor paradise. The resort was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was in a suite, which was spacious, bright and clean. This is a nice relaxing place to get away

Beautiful resort. We only spent one night there, but we dined like royalty and had a beautiful floor view of lake Lanier from our room porch.

we had the most wonderful time on our family getaway with two small children at the resort! We were able to take advantage of the southern residence discount and enjoyed the week with beautiful views of the lake and plenty of room for the kids to run around. It’s even pet friendly and it was so fun to see all the cute dogs in the hotel. It was very close to license to chill Snow Island as well as the game changer arcade and Land shark on the Margaritaville Beach. Perfect escape for a couple of days! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Went to hubs h.s. class reunion. It was great! Room was capacious, food in buffet was excellent! Very lovely night all around! And friendly amd tolerant after hours bartender let us hang out & socialize and watch the football game on TV. (*The only thing my hubs thought was a bit ridiculous was the cash bar- not the selection, not the bartender-they were both fine; but it was the payment system of 'automatic tip of minimum of 25-40% ?!? That was very off-putting)*??
