This Residence Inn consistently receives overwhelmingly negative reviews, highlighting severe cleanliness issues, outdated facilities, and significant operational failures. Guests have reported infestations, damaged rooms, malfunctioning amenities, and unacceptable service from staff. The property appears to be poorly maintained and lacks the quality expected of a Marriott property.
It would be zero stars if i could. 1st room smelled like a rat died in it. 2nd Room change tv didnt work, shower head exploded , ac would not turn off. 3rd room tv wouldnt turn off Toilet got plugged from going pee. The tech unplugs it and leave dirty towels in the floor for me to pick up. Stay away. Silver marriot member means i stay at alot of marriots across the US. This is by far the worst. Staff was great. Only reason i left 1 star
The customer service is abysmal. Jacob the night clerk had a horrible attitude but it actually started the day of check in. We were given keys to someone else's room. We walked into a room that had luggage and someone else's name on the tv. That fiasco resulted in someone getting locked out of their room and no apologies. Before check there were still concerns about room charges. It was fortunate that we knew the other party as we were in town for an event. Our rooms were not booked on the same day, with the same credit card or by the same person yet not only did they mess up the keys, they messed up the charges holding $800 on one person's card. I am not sure I ever been at any Marriott connected property and experienced this level of dissatisfaction with hotel personnel. Thankfully the actual room was spacious and clean. We also could not get clean towels without turning in the dirty towels. It was an exhausting experience all the way around. I am not sure when it hasnt been ok to just leave the dirty towels in the room or if they want them they send someone to retrieve them.
Went with my family to tour universities. We arrived to the location at night. We walked in and saw a small gym and a young man at the front desk. He greeted us, though tired, and gave us the key. We struggled to get our luggage into our suite which was up old stairs. The entrance was okay, but we couldn’t help but notice the mildew scent and bullet looking indentations on the fridge. The room was very outdated and felt gross. We went upstairs hopeful that the rooms would be better. The downstairs room was okay, but the bed was not properly made. The upstairs bathroom was a sight. The shower head was clearly aged, with flies inside and a massive hair. The couch was old as well. Outside, a member of the family found a disgusting wrapper. Needless to say, we left immediately. An overall extremely underwhelming experience, especially at a Marriott location. There are most definitely better, cheaper options around the Atlanta area.
Rooms are old, stinky, sketch area with sketch people & have bed bugs. Rooms was penthouse but it wasn’t nice. More like a regular room, just on two different levels. Shower wouldn’t drain and I got out of the shower for a foot of dirty water to stand in, daughter got bites all over her legs, room 924. Odd people walking around outside and was an old motel remodeled, maybe a motel 6. Disappointed. Front desk lady super sweet but the night managerJustin was not reasonable at all. Had to argue on the phone 20 mins at 10pm at night to get our reservation adjusted. We wont be back.
DO NOT stay here. This is a motel and located in an unsafe area for families. Homeless were walking around the rooms at night and yelling in the street. We had a to change our room twice due to the odor and the carpet saturated with water. The toilets did not properly flush, and we did not take a shower for two days. The water was a solid brown color from the shower. The WIFI in the rooms did not work. The breakfast was terrible as well as the overall service. As a frequent traveler (over 40 hotels a year), I can easily confirm this is the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. An embarrassment to the Bonvoy portfolio. Avoid at all cost.
