Our Christmas weekend stay at this hotel was great! The cleanliness of our room and common areas, wonderful hospitality from front desk representative, and those managing the continental breakfast all help to ensure that our stay was great. Because of this positive experience we would return to this Tru location and will look for other "Tru" locations to book/stay!
BEWARE THEFT!!! On our stay there were 15 cars broken into. They busted windows and went through for any valuables. We had little to no help from the hotel staff to help with clean up or trying to find somewhere to replace the glass. We also had an issue with someone banging on our door after 11pm that was reported to the front desk, but nothing was done about it. The hotel is not secure. We would have left but it was late and we had our two young daughters with us. I reached out to the GM but was told that they had signs that stated that we were responsible for theft/damage. That covers the legal part of it but not the customer service part of it. We won’t be staying at any Tru Hilton hotels in the future. They do not stand by their customer service guarantee. We really expected more from Hilton. Hilton do better!!!
Our stay was fine. The beds were hard but rooms were clean. Continental breakfast was better than most. Staff was friendly. However 15 cars had their windows broken and items stolen. We were lucky and did not have any damage. We did over hear management say the signs in parking lot say they're not responsible, maybe true but very insensitve. A long time guest also stated this happens all the time. The police also took over an hour to respond. So be careful with your vehicle if you do stay here. We will never be back.
Nice little hotel in a relatively ok location. My husband had a surgery and we booked this hotel because of the location. I’m impressed free parking and a lovely staff and clean rooms. Mr Lemar was so kind calling to check on us throughout our stay to make sure we have everything we need. The mall across from the hotel was very underwhelming but I do recommend this hotel 4 out of 5
The front desk service was great. Bed was a little hard. Also I didn’t like that they didn’t have an Ice bucket. But they do have an ice machine and water available. Hot breakfast in the morning was an added bonus.
Experience was excellent.. Staff were courtesy and friendly, thanks Sean and Lemar! Even though my room door pad died and needed the battery replaced, that was solved within 10mins of notifying the staff. Room was comfortable, smelled good and the bathroom spot on! The dispenser soap scents are smell soo good! Good job Hilton at this Tru by Hilton!
I stayed at this location on 9/21-9/23. I checked in on 9/21 around 7/8pm and everything was fine. The next day after coming back from a very important doctors appt, I just wanted to relax and my room key did not work . I go to the front desk and was told my reservation did not exist in their system. I told the guy at the front desk I checked in on yesterday with no problems. He proceeded to tell me that the 3rd party I booked from did not pay them so the reservation was canceled. I told him that has nothing to do with me and I paid for my room and will not pay another fee. He called his manager I was told I could not get a room key and that I had to be escorted to my room. I was so embarrassed being escorted like a criminal. When I got in my room my room was not cleaned. I called Hilton customer care and was sent a generic email by Lamont Johnson. I responded back to the email asking for an update and a phone call nothing has happened. I have not been refunded my $75 and today is now 9/29. I have not received any type of compensation let alone an apology. I will never book w/ Hilton again. If anyone reads this review please stay away from them.
I stayed at this hotel and honestly, I was disappointed. The hotel itself looks decent and the staff were fine, but the room had roaches. That was a huge no for me and made it hard to even feel comfortable. For a Hilton brand, I expected way better. Definitely not worth the money if cleanliness is this much of an issue.
Had a fantastic stay at the Tru by Hilton Atlanta Northlake Parkway! Arrived very late in the evening but staff were at the front desk and ready to get us checked in and up to our rooms. Check in was quick and easy and they even offered to make sure our two rooms were on the same floor. The hotel is really modern with a comfortable lobby and plenty of space to work or relax. Rooms were spotless and beds were super comfortable. Made it down to breakfast in the morning which was also great. The selection was great and the staff were really on top of restocking and making sure everything was clean. I didn’t have time to use the gym but it also appeared to be clean and very well maintained. A comfortable modern hotel with great staff. Couldn’t recommend it more!
I had a wonderful four nights here the staff is do friendly and want to make sure you have a good experience here. The room was very clean and comfortable. My favorite was the breakfast and the pancake machine that made the cutest pancakes ever. Make sure you don't miss the breakfast. I think it ends at 10am. This hotel is on my list because I really enjoyed it here.
